Project Overview
Hello everyone! My name is Mae (sollymcwolly) Haney. I am the Director and Creator of the audio drama known as Fields in the Sky, a passion project from the teams of UNREHEARSED Studios and Surskit Crew. We are creating an amazing project with many talented people and hope to create a series that will bring a smile to everyone’s faces.
What is Fields in the Sky?
Fields in the Sky is an audio drama isekai that takes inspiration from classic anime, video games, and dnd tropes. A world of floating islands and cities high in the sky with creatures of all shapes and sizes; living amongst each other and coexisting. Where the sun shines brighter and warmer than any other star. Everything was peaceful, that is until, a piece of the sun fell from its whole, falling below the layer of clouds at the bottom of the world, throwing the world into disarray, the only hope coming from the sun’s protector, The Lady of the Sun. Enter Hope and Hugo, two high school students from the world that we all are familiar with, find themselves on a field trip of a lifetime. Shoved into this world of uncertainty, Hope is forcefully tasked with returning the sun piece to the top of the world while blending in and remaining hidden amongst the civilians of the world by working as a courier. With her brother, Hugo, by her side and some new found friends, she traverses the world and finds out what it truly means to be “someone”.
REQUIREMENTS
You must be 18 years or older to audition for this project.

Please do at least 2-3 takes per line
Please only audition if you are going to be active and committed to said project
Please do not have echo or major background noise in your audition! Minimal background noise is okay, for it can be removed.
Please include your discord in your audition; this will be our main way of communication

Jo is known as one of the most skilled couriers in the lower quadrant of Sol. She is straight-forward, loyal, and a bit lacking in social skills. She has a good heart, but sometimes overestimates herself, rarely taking help from others. Jo begins to learn about being friends and keeping them, letting Hope be her guide. Jo also has a brother named Wil Goldheart who works as a receptionist at the couriers’ guild.

Mother of Hope and Hugo, she appears in the first episode of the series and consistently reappears in flashbacks throughout the series. She is portrayed as quite narcissistic and uncaring for her childrens’ feelings. She is stiff and unwavering. She should be played firmly and should feel threatening not only to her children, but to the audience as well.

The biggest role you’ve landed has been the dog from The Little Mermaid, and that was when you were in middle school. You’ve always seemed to land yourself an ensemble role, which is good, but it’s a highly competitive field. Without good credentials, it’s going to be much harder for you.
