This is a text to speech language model that will be used to create an interactive assistant similar to Siri and Alexa for a client in China. There will be a large amount of volume to record with the first batch estimated at 8 hours.

One question I'm often asked is: what's the best way to improve my pronunciation? Well, my first piece of advice is to try to learn each different sound of English. In writing English, we use 26 letters of the alphabet, but there are more than 26 sounds in English. To show that it is the sounds which have been written and not the letters, the transcriptions are written between slashes. This is a consonant sound. You can hear it at the beginning of the words yet, use, yellow and useful. Now this is such a common and natural way to pronounce "cup of" that in British English, the word "cuppa" actually means "a cup of tea".
