Project Overview
CONTENT WARNING: This is a horror game for audiences 16+. The game includes:
-Violent & Disturbing Scenes with Moderate Gore.
-Sensitive Topics including murder, complex relationships, depression, suicidal thoughts, and abuse.
-Sexually Suggestive Dialogue (though nothing too explicit) and "Barbie Doll Anatomy" Nudity.
-Crude Language and Swearing.
PLEASE ONLY AUDITION IF YOU'RE READY FOR A FAST TURN AROUND RATE. Have strict and fast deadlines for this project, will need lines turned in 8 days after auditions are finished (August 26th), with any revisions done by August 29th. ONLY audition if you're ready for that tight deadline.
Feast Your Eyes: Little Marshmallow is a a 2.5D RPG Maker Horror Game where after managing to escape death row, a poor unfortunate little marshmallow with blood on their hands cannot shake a past that shackles them. They're sinking into an abyss of surreal horror, isolated but not alone. Join this terrible yet heartbreaking little marshmallow and other strange characters as they struggle in a hell of doubt... What's even the point? Is there any future our tortured little marshmallow can look forward to? Creepy mementos of love... A plague that makes people stare at dirt... A familiar yet grown up face of someone who should be dead... What do all of these things have in common? When the fangs behind our facade sink deep into the mind and reflect our darkest thoughts, it becomes a struggle to not let our shadow take over. A semi-sequel/spin-off to Close Your Eyes, though made so it can be played stand-alone.
The pricing of the roles comes in part from me being a relatively small indie developer juggling a few projects with a budget to maintain, these being smaller roles, and the differentiation between role prices reflects how much dialogue or complexity each character role has. The rates are small but non-negotiable, know that ahead of time.
The gig will be paid upon completed audio delivery (and any revisions needed to be done being completed). Audio files can be delivered in .mp3, .wav, .flac, or .ogg. Can either deliver as one or multiple recordings with multiple lines, or separate audio files for each line, really any method of delivering the lines works with me. At least half-way decent Microphone quality is desirable for this project, with little to no background audio. I'm a decent audio editor and plan to mess with all the audio sent to me regardless for the game's tone & atmosphere, but clearer and decent quality recordings are preferred.
The deadline for auditions is August 24th, 2025 at 12 PM PST. There will be no casting before this deadline to let people audition as I'm finalizing the scripts. Once all roles have been confirmed and scripts sent out, the deadline for line delivery is September 6th, 2025 at 12 PM PST. For those who are picked for roles, for communication I'm open to either Casting Calls DMs, email, or Discord to communicate, whichever works best for you. I may ask for a few line revisions from what's delivered, and the line revision deadline will be September 14th, 2025 at 12 PM PST.

A depressed and weird young adult, around 20 years of age. She doesn't even remember the last time she felt happy, a bit sardonic and tries to put on appearances to seem fine, all while she tries to push others away from her own misery to be alone. We learn more about her rough childhood, before she eventually cracks and shows a creepy desperate side towards the end of the game.
Her role is roughly 1500 words, there's some manic laughs and subtle sorta' "flatline" delivery where she sounds almost emotionless or fine but with little cracks in her persona.

"My mom died when I was still young. It completely shattered my world. Many nights of me just crying out for my mama. But no one ever came to answer my cries." ((Said sharing it with someone else, almost like it was funny, trying to suppress her emotions to mask the pain these memories bring.))
"Sweet creature! You're witty and you're wise. How handsome are your gauzy wings, how brilliant are your eyes! I have a little looking-glass upon my parlor shelf, If you'll step in one moment, dear, you shall behold yourself." ((Read a bit dramatically, as she's reading a verse from a poem she likes.))
"You'll stay with me, right!? Hahaha, you understand, you have to understand! Hahahaha! Why don't you understand!?" ((A manic breakdown, becoming a mess of laughing and crying. Desperate to find connection and comfort, but feeling isolated and like she's crazy.))
A very maternal young woman who is trying to reach out to her kid who she's not currently in custody of. Normally warm and trying her best to be strong, there is one bit she emotionally breaks down in, and one where she speaks weirdly cruelly which is meant to feel out of character.
This role is 1500 words, though as a warning there's a part she shares a disturbing story of a woman being physically, emotionally, and implicitly sexually abused. Nothing is shown in game and it doesn't go into graphic detail in words, but the story is meant to be uncomfortable, as she opens up with this being a "funny" story though it can't be described as anything other than morbid.

"You used to be so excited whenever I'd come to visit you. It would make me feel important and wanted. It made me feel like I was home. But I get it. Things can't stay the same forever. Eventually everything comes to an end." ((Starts off fondly and warmly, though she gets a bit more sad towards the end, but in an understanding way and trying to stay strong for her kid.))
"They committed atrocities to her. Hands reached out to grab her. To bruise her. To feel at her. To feel all over her. They thrust themselves onto her. AGAIN... AND... AGAIN. She screamed, and this made them v-e-r-y h-a-p-p-y." ((A weirdly out of character story being told from her, said sadistically and almost like she finds it funny, dramatic. "AGAIN AND AGAIN ," said with impact and volume raise. The "v-e-r-y h-a-p-p-y" part slow down reading it, almost like she's relishing in the words as she slowly says them.))
"I wanted to do so much more for you. I doubt you'll remember my face, because you're so young, but this is the face that always watched over you as you drifted off to sleep. The one who'd be there to greet you each morning as you woke up." ((Said with a heavy heart like a farewell, time cut short, trying hard to not choke up and express what she wants her child she may never see again to know.))
A creepy obsessive guy who crawls along inside the walls, deeply romantic and a bit of a sadomasochist. He loves hearing his own voice and savoring in his delusional fantasies.
The role has roughly 500 words, he says some depraved things meant to be creepy.

"Oh, I imagine how dear Valerie must've felt thinking I'd never find out about you! Excitement, desire, hormonal!" ((Said excited and dramatic.))
A shadowy train conductor who might've once been human, but now is something more. In his 40s, mysterious, but with a gentle and empathetic heart. He offers some comfort and wisdom to those who board his train.
Has around 300 words of dialogue, all pretty straight forward.

A sorta' creepy, sorta' cute child-like gal who speaks in cryptic ways, can be kind, but can just as easily switch to a bratty spoiled princess who wants to cut off people's heads. Truly she doesn't know the line between a sweet princess and an unruly dictator.
Around 300 words of dialogue, lines are pretty straight forward.
