Fallout 4 Let's Play upcoming characters

Project Overview

Hello again everyone, I 'm back for the next episodes of my little Fallout 4 Youtube series!  To summarize, I precede each episode of my Let's Plays with a short skit to kick things off, and this casting call should cover all of the extra/supporting roles for the next six episodes or so (instead of a bunch of individual ones).

Previous skits/episodes can be seen here https://youtu.be/Ywi19EW556s?list=PLUSyDWy3aSiuV5Y0Zuiq6j3g54-lgnfbq, should you be interested in tracking the story thus far or seeing what you're getting yourself into.

As always, I can't wait to hear what you all bring to the table!

Latest Updates

  • First rounds will be made today

I've been listening to everyone's auditions and I'm going to make the call on the first initiate and scribe tonight, as they will be needed in this coming week's episode. I've also removed the accent requirements for Bryson as he will be needed the week after that (and so far no one has auditioned for him!), so if you were hesitant to audition for him because of that, it is now not an issue!

Brotherhood of Steel Initiate

Role assigned to: mikeejvo

A hapless rookie and fresh out of basic training, the initiate is assigned to a remote outpost and is just trying to follow the rules and not get yelled at.

  • Halt!  Identify yourself!

  • (After being cowed by a superior officer) It’s just… you know the protocols and-

Not as easily fooled as his lackey the initiate, the Scribe starts asking questions when things seem out of the ordinary.

  • (said with offense) I beg your pardon, but what are you doing on my terminal?

  • (At first relieved, but then suspicious) That’s all well and good but… wait a minute… I thought Newhouse was on recon-

Narrator with a western drawl

The Narrator's dialogue highlights the change from the first act to the second, and his monologue will be played over a short montage.  He should have a western/Texan accent.  For inspiration, think of Sam Elliot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZoyE1B7HHA .  Though the Narrator's dialogue is technically all three audition lines, don't feel compelled to do the entire monologue if you don't want to for the audition.

  • After the Sole Survivor made his way through Nuka World and made a huge, bloody mess of things, the remaining raiders banded together under a new Overboss, holding on to a desperate, shaky foothold in the smaller, outlying attractions.

  • With the three underbosses dead, the raiders no longer had the firepower or the organization to take the city back, and a well paid garrison of mercenaries stand by to keep them at bay.

  • It’s a tense, uneasy peace residing over the Old World amusement park, and the arrival of the Brotherhood of Steel and Team Zero Eight of the Platinum Sabers would have any sensible man shaking in his boots… if he only knew about it.

Bryson is an old mercenary and former raider, one of the higher ups in the garrison stationed at Nuka World to hold off the army of raiders that want the city back.  He and Morgan go way back, so when they meet he is seeing an old friend for the first time.

  • (jovially) Morgan!  You old son of a bitch, how are ya?  I see you went back to the mercenary life huh?

  • (seriously)  The Brotherhood?  Well, I don’t know about them but… I have seen a couple guys coming in and buying all the microfusion cells and fusion cores and, get this, dog food they can find.  Soon as they do, they split.

Voice on radio

Role assigned to: deleted4404

This is just a disembodied voice coming over a radio, and the phonetics don't really mean anything.  It should sound military.

  • Code: Echo, Golf, Romeo, November, Seven, Bravo, Bravo, Three, Nine, Quebec, Hotel, Victor, Charlie, Uniform, Seven.

Murderbots

This will actually need to be a handful (or a lot, whichever) of people.  The first line is a Sentry bot, which is basically minigun toting, rocket launching, nuclear exploding death on wheels.   It doesn't have to match the Robocop voice used in game though, it can be whatever voice you have, so long as it is stiff and robotic.  The others will be smaller robots.  I will literally use every audition made here (for the Dalek chorus), only one person gets to be the sentry bot.  Also, no voice effects will be necessary, I will handle those myself.

  • COMMENCING PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: ANNIHILATE THE BROTHERHOOD

  • (Chanted like Daleks): ANNIHILATE!  ANNIHILATE!

Doomed Brotherhood Initiate 1

These initiates had what they thought was an easy assignment.  Sadly, I am ceaselessly cruel to minor characters.

  • Man, this has got to be the best gig ever.

  • (each word enunciated) Easy - as - pie.

  • All we really do is sit around playing video games and shooting giant bugs.  This is the life, man. THE LIFE.

Doomed Brotherhood Initiate 2

Role assigned to: vectorman

Another initiate who has grown complacent with the technological and military superiority the brotherhood has afforded them.  They sadly weren't prepared for the robot invasion.

  • Tell me about it!  All the Nuka Cola we could drink, all the robots we can shoot at and best of all, that vault dweller everyone used to talk about wiped out most of the raiders.  Easy living right here.

  • You keep talking about pie, have you ever even had pie?  Do you even know what pie is?

Mysterious Jack

He's cool, he's tough, and he's harder to kill than a colony of rad roaches.  Jack is a sniper who's been causing the team trouble for a while now, and his reasons for doing so are known only to him.  A mercenary, a bounty hunter, and a general jack of all asses, he's a legend in the wasteland and now seeks only one thing... a worthy opponent.

  • Oh, your boys at the outpost are all dead.  Some rogue robots came through and wiped ‘em all out.

  • Don’t get to live as long as I do in this job by being a hero.

  • The dog’s long gone.  If I were you, I’d get some more of your tin men to the tram station to lock it down before any goody-two-shoes go taking it home.

A different Brotherhood of Steel Scribe

A simple radio operator, this scribe is one of the few extras to make it out of this story alive.

  • They haven't made their evening report sir, and I can’t raise anyone there.  Do you think they may have come under attack?

  • The Minutemen maybe?  Maybe the gunners?

  • Yes sir.

Doctor

Role assigned to: lyric

A well meaning wasteland doctor.  There's not many of them out there, so their words are generally heeded very strongly.  Voice and tone are completely up to you.

  • How is this man even standing on two feet?  It's a wonder the withdrawal hasn't killed him yet.

  • I can get him started on addictol, but he really needs to stay put.  Trust me when I say this, he is dying.  You are dying sir, and not slowly.
