Project Overview
What is the game about?:
EVAC is a dark sci-fi action game about escaping a ruined alien facility filled with failed experiments, mutated hybrids, and very emotionally exhausted creatures.
You wake up after millions of failed safety protocols finally release your cryopod.
A damaged scorpion creature bonds with you symbiotically, allowing you to survive and progress through the facility.
You fight your way floor-by-floor, meeting failed creations, unstable bosses, and increasingly questionable lifeforms until you finally reach the surface...
...only to discover the planet is completely destroyed.
So now you have to fix a spaceship and leave.

A scientist who, after waking up 15 million years later, now has to traverse the once at home laboratory filled with out for blood aliens and toxic air filled atmosphere.
Voice: Medium-High pitched, like shaggy from Scooby Doo.

A scorpion fused with a symbiotic alien organism. Missing their stinger. Mentally exhausted. Weirdly comforting.
Spikey starts out cold and emotionally drained, but slowly develops a dry sense of humor throughout the game.

someone who’s survived absolute hell
still keeps going anyway
not to save the world
just to make sure someone they loved is okay

Little Sally is the human equivalent of: “Mom said you HAVE to bring your cousin.”
She’s loud, annoying, immature, and somehow still terrifying.
She never matured. Ever.

Oscar barely talks. Most of his dialogue is one-word responses.
Despite this, he somehow still sounds done with everybody.

A leopard-human hybrid.
Her name is NOT because she’s mixed with a seal. She just really likes seals.
Very unstable. Very dramatic. Probably laughs during fights.

A failed experiment.
He was supposed to become a terrifying warrior hybrid... but due to “natural law” he basically just changed fur color and stayed a little guy.
Super friendly. Extremely helpful. Would probably apologize after getting hit by a car.

He’s from Earth. He has absurd powers. He can teleport. Stop time. Probably explode the moon if he wanted to.
Does he help? Not really.
He mostly appears randomly and acts like this is all mildly inconvenient.

Pete gives the player a new weapon.
He’s technically stronger and faster than a normal koala... but still somehow feels like a guy who would get banned from a laser tag arena.
A weird little creature.

Acts calm while saying the most threatening thing imaginable.

Walter acts like an older sister to the player and grants a jump upgrade.
