Project Overview

About the project:

Epic the Musical: The Journey continues is a cinematic expanded fan dub of Jorge Rivera-Herrans Epic the Musical. We will be doing every song in Epic including original dialogue scenes to expand on this amazing story.

What we are making:

A expanded fan dub of Epic the musical originally created by Jorge Rivera- Herrans. We will release it by saga just like the original release of the musical and then We will have a live stream of the whole pre recorded show for the release of the Ithaca saga.

How to audition:

Take a clear audio recording for the character you want to audition for. You don't have to have a mic I just want to make sure we can hear you. There are plenty of free apps that help with noise reduction and Mic enhancement one I use is Dolby on I would recommend this if you don't have a mic.

The majority of the characters have you sing multiple excerpts from different songs So for this you do not have to use an instrumental track if you don't want to.

It is highly encouraged that you have discord this will be our main form of communication please list your username in your audition.

I will have lenient deadlines but we do need all lines to be recorded in a timely manner especially for big characters Like Odysseus please understand that if you get cast as these big characters you will need to commit to recording all the lines.

I may have ask for a callback from you so check you discord for any Dm's

I have lines but down for all the characters but if you want to sing the characters whole song or use instrumental tracks you were more than welcome to I just need something to see your vocals and how you interpret the character.

If you would rather help with writing the original dialogue or helping with Video editing, Audio mixing, or making original animatics or art pieces for the videos you can submit some things you've done in the past or reach out to me directly.

The goal is to fill the gaps the musical skips, expand character moments, and build emotional transitions—while staying true to the tone of the original show.


As a Script Writer, you will help create short scenes (usually 15–60 seconds each) that:

Explore character motivations


Add emotional depth or clarity


Stay accurate to myth, tone, and personalities


Make the whole show flow naturally


This is a collaborative writing role, not solo. You will brainstorm with the director and other writers and shape the story together.
