We are creating a virtual fan-made production of Epic the Musical with original dialogue added between the songs.

The goal is to fill the gaps the musical skips, expand character moments, and build emotional transitions—while staying true to the tone of the original show.

As a Script Writer, you will help create short scenes (usually 15–60 seconds each) that:

Connect one song to the next

Explore character motivations

Add emotional depth or clarity

Stay accurate to myth, tone, and personalities

Make the whole show flow naturally

This is a collaborative writing role, not solo. You will brainstorm with the director and other writers and shape the story together.

Requirements:

Understanding of Epic the Musical characters

Ability to write natural-sounding dialogue

Strong sense of pacing and emotion

Willingness to revise and collaborate

Ability to keep scenes short and impactful

Experience is NOT required — just passion and creativity.

What You’ll Do:

Co-write dialogue scenes between songs

Edit and polish drafts

Maintain a consistent tone and characterization

Work with the director to shape the story

Help expand moments the musical glosses over
