Project Overview
Hey all, it's Cu na Saoirse! Back at it again with another fun project! Please make sure to read THIS ENTIRE description before audition please. That includes Audition Requirements and Voice Requirements!
The project this time is for a fun little series that I plan on continuing. This mod title is Encounters of The Mojave - Black Mountain, aimed to bring scripted encounters to the Black Mountain area to make the world feel more alive. This will be an ongoing project, with several mods planned in the future to cover other areas of the map in the hopes of having the entire map covered in the future.

VOICE REQUIREMENTS
- Multiple takes are encouraged (2-3) for each audition line but NOT required!
- You must follow the voicing instructions crystal clearly. Any audition with mess-ups on specific instructions w/o any attempts to fix WILL BE disqualified.
- Must not be afraid to get vulgar or loud!
- Sometimes you will be cussing too. If you are uncomfortable with that, then I can say that, unfortunately, this project is not for you. :(
Audition Requirements:
-Crisp, clean audio. No hums*, pops, hisses, or background noise. Any audition with these found inside WILL BE disqualified!
*Hums, if distant enough to be hardly noticeable, can pass auditioning ONLY if the voice actor can remove them when asked.
-Show emotion! Any audition without emotion or effort WILL BE disqualified!
- Communication can be conducted through Discord or CCC.
- MOST roles will have between 1 and 8 lines each.
-Have fun!

NCR Troopers are the backbone of the NCR Military. Full of volunteers and conscripted soldiers, the Troopers are the first in, last out, boots on the ground, in the knitty and gritty force that the Mojave needs to stabilize it.
This NCR Trooper has been ambushed, alongside his squad, near Black Mountain. He wants to make a run for it, but his squadmate, the Cautious NCR Trooper, warns against it. Shortly after their argument, they are attacked by a group of Nightkin.

We can't just sit here! They're gonna pick us all off, one by one! We need to sally forth and get out of here!
The officer is dead, and the rest of the squad is traumatized and fearful, Reinhardt! We need to leave, now!

This NCR Trooper has been ambushed, alongside his squad, near Black Mountain. His squadmate, the Aggressive NCR Trooper, wants to make a run for it and is rather vocal on his opinion, but this NCR Trooper wants to wait for reinforcements. Shortly after their argument, they are attacked by a group of Nightkin.

This NCR Trooper has been ambushed, alongside her squad, by invisible Nightkin. She remains on the lookout for more hostiles while the rest of her squad argues about what to do. She is killed when the Nightkin launch another assault on their holdout.

NCR Troopers are the backbone of the NCR Military. Full of volunteers and conscripted soldiers, the Troopers are the first in, last out, boots on the ground, in the knitty and gritty force that the Mojave needs to stabilize it.
This NCR Trooper has been ambushed, alongside her squad, by invisible Nightkin. She stands behind the guns and the combat knives, comforting the Dying NCR Trooper and trying to get him to quiet down. Her attempts fail, and they are soon attacked again by a group of Nightkin.

This NCR Trooper has been ambushed, alongside his squad, by invisible Nightkin. Wounded in combat, he is on the verge of death and is lying on the ground, panicking and scared and slightly delirious. He passes away when the Nightkin launch another attack.

This Nightkin is a courier from Jacobstown. Having arrived at Black Mountain to gather intelligence on Tabitha for Marcus, he speaks with the Jacobstown Mutant on the goings on at Black Mountain before departing back for Jacobtstown.

This Super Mutant is a spy from Jacobstown. Working with Neil, he seeks to keep an eye on Tabitha and warn travelers away from Black Mountain.

This Super Mutant is a resident of Black Mountain, but has become disgruntled by the latest events plaguing them. Namely, the clear unfair hierarchy the exists that puts Nightkin above regular Super Mutants. He is having an argument with the Nightkin Captain over this, but ultimately stands down.

This Super Mutant is guarding the gate between Hidden Valley and Black Mountain. Upon the Player's arrival, he will accost the Player, and this confrontation will ultimately lead to his death.

This Super Mutant is standing around a fire with two First Gen Mutants, discussing their discontent with Black Mountain as a safe haven. He advocates for violence against the Nightkin, but is ultimately shot down by his more intelligent brothers.

This Super Mutant is standing before several Centaurs, calling them "Puppies" rather adoringly. Upon spotting the Player, he will command his Centaurs to attack whilst attacking with his minigun.

Nightkin are Super Mutants who served as Special Forces in the Master's Army. Now displaced since the destruction of said army, many find refuge in the human settlements and factions, and some even go out into the Wasteland to build a home for themselves. Many are quite insane, however, and are often shunned more than their regular Super Mutant brothers.
This Nightkin is a Captain at Black Mountain. Clearly looking down upon the regular Super Mutants of Black Mountain due to the vast hierarchal differences, he is arguing with a First Gen Mutant about this before finally convincing him to stand down.

Nightkin are Super Mutants who served as Special Forces in the Master's Army. Now displaced since the destruction of said army, many find refuge in the human settlements and factions, and some even go out into the Wasteland to build a home for themselves. Many are quite insane, however, and are often shunned more than their regular Super Mutant brothers.
This Nightkin is accosting a Protectron, demanding that he fix a nearby broken robot. But the Protectron refuses, as it is not within his capabilities. Upon losing his patience, he destroys the Protectron in a fit of rage.

Protectrons are a rather weak robot. Useful in policing roles and minor combat roles, but not much else. They were often used in the Pre-War times for just that, and even as security bots for Metros and Libraries and more. They have survived the years after the bombs dropped, albeit in heavily damaged states.
This Protectron is at Black Mountain, and is being asked by the Nightkin to fix Rhonda, a nearby broken Mr. Handy. The Protectron refuses, as it is not within his capabilities. Angered, the Nightkin destroys him.
Bonus points if you can alter your voice to be robotic.
