THIS IS AN EMERGENCY RECASTING FOR THE MAIN CHARACTER ROLE: SHOKI IKENAMI. Due to personal reasons, our VA for Shoki Ikenami has decided to leave the role.
This is for a Persona 5: The Phantom X English fan dub for Chapter 4 in which Shoki Ikenami is the next main character to be joining the Phantom Thieves! We will also eventually be dubbing over the Prologue and the first three chapters!
I have talked with some of my friends and a lot of them said they are interested in P5X but don't want to play the game due to it being a gacha! It's understandable, which is why I'm starting this dub as a passion project with the goal of making a fan-made English dub enjoyable for people who are interested in its story but don't want to play it.
These will be posted on a YouTube channel for everyone to see once it is complete, but since the size of Phase 1 is around 5 hours, it will be split into 5 parts. Shoki Ikenami is the star of the show in Chapter 4, so he has a ton of lines that needs to be recorded.
There's multiple other Persona 5 X fan dub projects around as well, so be sure to check them out in your free time! I think they are pretty neat and I got a little inspired to make my own, as you can see. ^^
Requirements
DUE TO SHIMOTSUNA, THIS ROLE IS FOR 18+ AUDITIONS ONLY. IF YOU ARE NOT 18 BY AUGUST 9, PLEASE DO NOT AUDITION.
Slating is optional. You may record up to three takes in your audition for each line in any format you wish!
Discord is required for communication! Please put your Discord in your audition.
USB Mics are OK 👍 as long as your voice is clear to hear. Do you best to keep your minimal background noise low. I don't expect everyone to have studio quality equipment, but we do need to hear you!
AI IS NOT ALLOWED.

You do not need to know or play the game to audition! I have information about Shoki Ikenami down below.
Videos are linked to where the line comes from. Please use them to your advantage to display the correct emotion. Videos also contain spoilers.
Don't worry about how to pronounce a character's name! If you are cast as a character, I will tell you how to pronounce it.
The ideal vocal range is my idea for Shoki Ikenami. You do not have to follow it if you have a better idea for Shoki Ikenami.
If you want to get involved and you think you have something else to bring to the table (video editing, audio mixing, singing, etc), do tell! I may open up roles for them in the future waves if there is interest.
You will be starting immediately when cast. Shoki Ikenami has around 120~ lines for Part 1 and Part 2 combined, but he has about 100 more in Part 3. The goal is to get you to catch up ASAP. Be prepared to catch up.
This is a long term project. Please keep that in mind when auditioning for Shoki Ikenami.
