ELEMENT HIGH - Series Casting
Project Overview
Element High is a YA drama series about personified elements going to high school. The series will cover all sorts of emotions from funny to romantic to sad and hopes to bring this vibrant world of elements to life.

Info for all auditions:
- Please be at least 14 years old to apply for artist and 16 for voice actor/editor.
- It is suggested that all auditioners join the community discord server for series news and to chat. It also makes it easier for me because Discord is required.

Info for voice actors:
- Please have a clean microphone of good quality. Most important thing is minimal background audio (I can edit out minor stuff so don't worry about that).
- You are more than welcome to audition for multiple characters, but you will very likely only be given one role.
Info for editors:
- Although no editing experience is required, please let me know in your audition document if you've had any.
Info for artists:
- Please draw with a consistent and reproducible style.

Vanadium is Titanium's sister. Despite being always friendly, she struggles with being a lonely person. She's never quite sure whether to laugh or cry with herself.

Hydrogen is the "angry smol" as Tumblr would call them. The unlikely friend of Titanium who absolutely hates having her small size joked about.

Calcium is the himbo type. Total jock but is super friendly and approachable even if he isn't always sure what exactly is going on.

Carbon is the straight laced prep guy. Always looking ahead and never living in the moment. Isn't popular but that doesn't matter at all. In fact, he hates most people. He almost always sounds totally dead inside.

The other half of "the group" along with Sodium. She also loves to gossip, but she's also beginning to question of her best friend is really that good of a person.

Mr. Mendeleev is a human (don't worry about it) teacher of science at the school. He is the science instructor for Vanadium and Mercury. He likes to treat his students fairly and although he may come across as strict, he'll protect his students if a crisis ever happened.

You will be the lead artist for your project. I'll need you to create characters and draw them consistently. Both me (project lead) and you will help direct the background artist.
No animation experience is required because this will be animated in an animatic style rather than fluid.

It will be your job as background artist to create the backdrops of vibrant scenes that the characters will appear on. Don't worry about repeatability since backgrounds can be recycled. Make sure to work with the lead artists so your styles don't clash.

As editor/beta reader, you'll take my scripts and make sure that there are no typos or weird grammar spots. You'll also give me suggestions and help me brainstorm up plots.
For your audition, audition as though it were a general writer's role with some writing examples. Don't be afraid to bring in your own flavors!
