Edain Mod Voiceacting: Dol Amroth
Project Overview
Hello there! We are looking for voiceactors to help us breathe life into four new heroes in our project. The Edain Mod is a modification of the videogame Battle for Middle-Earth 2: Rise of the Witch-king. As the name might suggest, it is set in JRR Tolkien's world of the Lord of the Rings. In this case, it means that we are looking at a feudal world and noble houses, more specifically the noble house of Dol Amroth. The videogame itself is an oldschool Real-Time Strategy game, so the player will look down onto the map from a bird's perspective and command his forces in their fight against the enemy. If you want to take a glance at what the gameplay is like, you can check out our YouTube channel.
All four heroes have full scripts, each consisting of ~35-40 individual voicelines. They include recruitment (when they first enter the battlefield), selecting (everytime you click on the hero), fighting, moving, calling for help and other, more specific voicelines. We generally are quite open to slight variations and different takes, especially if you are familiar with and passionate about the source material. Using Discord would be of great help for communication purposes in this regard.
You can record your lines in one go or split them up into individual files, both works fine for us. Since the videogame we are modifying only reads the .wav file format, it would be of great help to us if you sent them to us that way, but it is not required.

Lothiriel is the daughter of Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth, who would go on to marry King Eomer of Rohan after the War of the Ring. While she does not fight herself and instead has her guards do the dirty work, she will defend herself if necessary. As a member of the nobility, she expresses herself carefully. She is devoted to her people and is entrusted with tasks outside of military strategy as well.

Amrothos is the youngest son of Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth. He is youthful, adventurous and looking for glory, but also enjoys the companionship and brotherhood of soldiers. As the youngest son, he has taken a special interest in the training and equipment of squires and other young men fighting for Dol Amroth.

Elphir is the eldest son and heir of Prince Imrahil. He is tasked with the defense of Dol Amroth, protecting even remote settlements to the best of his abilities. As such, he is also a respected naval officer as he keeps the shores of Belfalas safe from attacks and raiding parties.

My name is Elphir, son of Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth and his heir. / Mein Name ist Elphir, Sohn von Prinz Imrahil von Dol Amroth und sein Erbe.
Erchirion is the second son of Prince Imrahil and a skilled archer. He likes spending time with the sailors or the cavalry of Dol Amroth but rarely at court. Nevertheless, he loves his family deeply and knows his duty, often fighting the corsairs of Umbar and the orcs of Mordor in defense of his home.
