Thanks all!
Description: Male voice, Late Teens or Early 20s, general American accent. Well guard, watches over water consumption and ensures fairness. Involved in a minor quest.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
I am Recruit Nemo. I oversee the well and distribute water to the Legionaries and the subjects in Dry Wells.
The rate went up. We can't give away free water to a merchant. It is now 300 caps per week.
Your reputation is known well with the Legion, you may have some water. Return tomorrow for another if you'd like.
Description: Older Male voice, 50-70s sounding, general American accent. Helps run the Villa with Kaiylyn Sanders
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
This used to be a medical clinic, it seems like. We converted the upstairs offices into bedrooms and turned it into a pretty nice place.
Well, it doesn't sound like we have much choice in the matter. I will tell everyone to stay inside, and away from the windows.
Hopefully she can find it in her heart to help us in our kitchen too. We don't have anyone worth their salt in there, no pun intended.
Description: Any age male or female, general American accent. Open to any ideas for tone
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
Gaius {Guy-yus} Magnus conquered another tribe for the Legion. I wonder if we'll see any new recruits coming through.
Wish I could've seen this place back in the day. I heard it used to be a resort.
I heard the Hunters' Guild lost their home. Real shame.
Male, female, and ghoul roles available. Minor roles, with only ~10 lines each.
General American accent.
Caesar’s {KaiZar's} dream is our destiny.
Heard the Legion will be crossing the river soon.
It’s so hot out.
Description: Male voice, 30s-40s, general American accent. Medium-to-major role. Evil character, cunning and ruthless. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoxJoJ-25qo Similar vibe to Vulpes Inculta, in this video.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
Look at this, all the little mice are gathered together. Welcome to my trap, mice.
The Legion has eyes everywhere. You should be grateful, for today its gaze is set on you.
Speak, mouse. Squeal for help, beg the trap to not close on you.
Male voice, 20s-30s, general American accent. Powerful / commanding tone. Open to styles, but general American will be the best accent for this role. Likely the first character the player will speak to in Dry Wells.
Halt. Dry Wells, and all of the land beyond this gate belong to Caesar {KaiZar}. What business do you have here?
Do not disrupt Legion operations under any circumstances, and you will find that our lands are preferable to those you are accustomed to.
Our garrison protects the front gate, with many loyal Legionaries ready to defend at a moment's notice.
Description: 20s female, strong and confident, general American accent.
Hope you're ready, because we're heading in now. Let's take the fight to these nightstalkers and get our home back.
Good. Stay close, and keep your gun out. We're going to spread out once we get inside to make sure we have room to shoot.
Wish I could have a beer right now.
Description: Male voice, 20s-40s, general American accent. Confident, strong voice. Medium-to-major role. Right hand man of Centurion Constantine
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
I am Remus {ree-mus}, a Veteran Decanus of Caesar's Legion. I oversee the defense of this post and lead the garrison along the river.
You blubbering idiot, you killed him? He's no use to me dead. If he is part of a network of spies, or a larger uprising, how will we find out?
No. The Legion, and Constantine, raised my tribe from the ground and showed me the truth. Might makes right, and the Legion is mighty.
Male voice, 20s-30s, general American accent. Deep voice, confident Veteran Legionary. Man of few words.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
Saw some mole rats run out of the Twisted Hair caves. Good target practice.
Remus {Ree-mus} got put on a cross. Might have to put him out of his misery, can't stand to look at him like that.
True to Caesar {KaiZar}
Description: Male voice, 20s-30s, general American accent. Deep voice, confident Veteran Legionary.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
I am Veteran Locatus {low-cah-tus}, Legion armorer and weaponmaster. I trade on behalf of the Legion and lead the distribution of supplies among the camp.
I hail from New Mexico, where Caesar {KaiZar} himself conquered my tribe and brought us to greatness. All that he has promised is coming true.
I am not permitted to trade with you until you improve your standing with the Legion.
Description: Any age male or female, general American accent. Open to any ideas for tone
Minor role, ~10 lines.
I'm so glad we have the lodge back. Everyone seems so much happier now.
Dry Wells used to have geckos all over the place. Not anymore, thanks to us.
You're from the Mojave right? Is it true you can see New Vegas for miles?
Description: Male voice, 20s-30s, general American accent. Watchtower guard and one of the first people to speak to the player upon entering Dry Wells. Small role. Provide a small, unmarked quest to look for notes in the area.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
I am Lexus, one of many Explorers here in Dry Wells. I oversee many of the patrols and watch for any threats before they reach our gate.
The Twisted Hairs have been eradicated and erased by Caesar's {KaiZar’s} order himself, so any notes retelling their history must be removed.
Ha! Looks like he met his end before the Legion was able to get to him. Well done.
Description: Male voice, 20s, general American accent. Young Legionary earning his stripes. Working above most others at his age, but eager to prove himself.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
Constantine escaped? And what of the men downstairs, are they alive?
We assess the captures based on their fitness, both mental and physical. Some may be fit to throw a spear, but we would not trust to hold a gun.
You understand our duty, then. Mars has willed that Caesar decide the fate of these profligates. I act as his hand and carry out his will.
Description: Male voice, 30s-40s, general American accent. Friendly, outgoing nature.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
Hey there, welcome to Dan and Jan's! How can I help you?
"The trains always run on time in Legion territory". I heard a trader say that once. Never knew what it meant, but I really liked the sound of it.
Well, there's not much to tell. I'm Dan, and I run this shop here with Jan, my wife. We're best friends, and business partners!
Description: Male voice, 20s-40s, general American accent. “Normal guy”, just a bartender.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
I'm Noah. I've been the owner and operator of the Dry Well for going on six years now. The bar was just called "The Well" back in the day.
We sell drinks, although not the kind you're likely used to in a bar if you're not from around here. No alcohol allowed in these parts.
There's a lot I'd change, but it's probably not a great idea to talk about that in public. Or anywhere, really.
Male voice, 50s+, general American accent. Older doctor, weathered, overworked.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
The Legion and the physicians like myself have a pretty unique relationship. We are obligated to help the troops and subjects, without much pay.
In return, we are provided safety, stability, and a better standard of living than most. Decanus {deˈka.nus} Remus {Ree-mus} ordered this house cleared for my practice.
This building was used to house Veteran Legionaries. Can you believe that? I get better quarters than most of Caesar's {KaiZar’s} finest.
Male, early 30s. Confident, traveler born in Arizona - has traveled across New Mexico, Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. Secretly leads an "underground railroad" and helps slaves and captures escape from the Legion. General American accent, or Hispanic American accent.
If you bring chaos and hate into the wasteland, pretty soon that same chaos will start to wreck your life.
Caesar {KaiZar} made a big show of conquering "El Paso de Norte", the Passageway to the North. Turns out it was mostly a burnt-out dust bowl.
Shit, you're gonna make me risk everything on your word? Look, it's not safe to talk here. Come with me.
Description: 30s sounding female, general American accent. Owned and operated a shop (Jan & Dan's Odds and Ends) before Legion forced her to step down from the position. Married to Dan Livingston
I'm Jan. I own- well, I work here at Dan and Jan's shop. We've been here quite a long time, and this store is pretty much all we spend our time on. We're kind of homebodies.
We haven't had one looter since the Legion's been here, traders tell us bandits run wild across the river.
Dan and I used to take walks to the river, but I heard the area isn't safe anymore. A bunch of wild animals hurt some people down there!
Description: Male voice, 50s+, general American accent. Older male voice, a bit unhinged/crazy.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
Boom! Are you aware there's a huge bomb coming? It's going to kill us all. We need to prepare!
My shelter isn't built yet, but I'm gonna put it right here. It'll be huge, and go underground for miles! Just you wait.
I'm alright! I'm telling you, it's coming! We've got to prepare. A huge missile, flying in from the sky! Mars told me in a vision.
Description: Ghoul voice, general American accent. Owner of “The Last Stop” outdoor pit stop / Dry Bar.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
Legion rule isn't perfect, but it beats being in the Mojave {Mo-hah-vee}.
This is The Last Drop. Get it, because we're in Dry Wells? Came up with that one myself.
Here's what he charged you, plus your cut. Thanks for your help.
Description: 20+ sounding female, general American accent. Scared, desperate. Minor role, ~10 lines.
You've got to help me, I'm not supposed to be here. My family disowned me and sent me to fend for myself along the Colorado.
I got caught up with a raider gang and did some bad things. I'm not proud of them, but this isn't the right punishment for my crimes.
If you help me gain my freedom I will right the wrongs I've done, I swear.
Description: Early 30s female, strong and confident, general American accent.
We're what most groups here wish they could be. About as free as one can get in Legion territory.
Is that a serious question? Come on. I used to help lead this place, now I'm barely allowed to be a part of it.
I think I'll stay put unless the Legion kicks me out or floats my body up the river. They know I'll take a few of 'em with me if that's the case.
Description: 20+ sounding male, general American accent. Optimistic, hoping to one day reach freedom. Minor role, ~10 lines.
Oh wow, really? Thank you for considering me! If you free me, I won't waste the opportunity.
I wasn't a great Legionary, but I was always brave. My Decanus decided that I had earned the right to live, but not to fight.
I never made it to a proper battle. After a failed training mission, he sentenced me to work in the fields. He insisted I still make myself useful.
Male ghoul voice (Fallout ghoul voice), a bit intimidating. American accent.
Time to die, smoothskin!
Hmm. We're not really looking to live under the Legion's boot. No offense. We've been surviving down here for longer than you've been alive.
We've survived worse than the Legion. You chose to work with them, you signed your death sentence. Time to die, smoothskin.
Description: Early 30s, slight East Coast / Jersey accent. Some creativity available in the accent you’d prefer to use
Barber for the townspeople of Dry Wells
Hey, it's my favorite customer! How are we doing today?
Welcome to my shop, pal. You're in the good hands with me, this is the best barber shop East of the Colorado. {Referring to the Colorado River}
One time I had a guy not pay for his haircut, so I yelled at him down the street. Saw a Legionary chase him down and cut the poor guy's hand off.
40s-50s+ sounding female (doesn’t need to sound elderly, just a bit older), general American accent. Helps run the Dry Wells Villa. Organized, determined, confident.
I was in Flagstaff before the Legion was around. Arizona was a harsh place, full of roving gangs and tribes. This is paradise compared to that.
I miss the snow, mostly. Not much of that here. The place is more red than anything you've ever seen, and there's a huge crater outside of town.
Who else would be able to defend this place? We sure couldn't.
Description: 20+ sounding female, general American accent. Angry, determined. Minor role, ~10 lines.
The Legion came into our camp at night, and our guard on watch had fallen asleep - such an idiot. We didn't stand a chance.
They gave us machetes and made us kill our own guard, "to make us stronger" they said. It was for those sick fucks' entertainment.
Thank you so much! I'm going to tell the folks back home about what you're doing here. I'll get help, the NCR won't lose to these slavers.
Description: 30+ sounding male, general American accent. Depressed, low sounding. Minor role, ~10 lines.
It's great what you're doing, saving one of us and all. But the Legion will control everything soon, and there won't be anywhere for us to go.
Wow, really? I don't know why you've done this, but I'll try to make it back to California somehow. I guess there's some hope, thanks to you.
Hi, I only have a minute if you want to talk.
Description: 20s Male, determined/brave, general American accent. Small role, only ~10 lines.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
Very well. You should know that the Legionaries are a bit spooked, we've heard voices from deep in the cave. It sounded like the ferals were talking.
Ave {Ah-way}. Have you come to help clear the mine?
There's no time to waste then. Let's get moving.
Description: 30+ sounding Male voice, a bit crazy but not over the top. American accent.
What are you doing here? This is my claim. You trying to steal my shit? Nobody steals my shit. I was here first!
So much loot, too much to hold.
No way, my food! My shit! Shoulda stayed back!
Description: 20s-30s Male, medium tone voice, general American accent.
Get out of here, I've been traveling through Legion territory for years now. Who the hell are you?
I need someone I can trust out here. I'm from "out West", we'll just leave it at that. I am doing some recon out here, will you help me?
You're with the Legion? Why are you helping me then? I'm out of here. You won't see my face again.
Description: 30s-40s Male, deep, somewhat gruff voice, general American accent.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
We help the Legion keep the critters at bay. They do a pretty good job of keeping the roads clear, but they need an extra hand from time to time.
We have a few rules we have to follow: Weekly tributes to the Legion, help keep the roads clear, and no chems or booze. The last one is tough.
This is for the Guild, and for every innocent life Gaius {Guy-yus} has taken from us. Fuck those Legion dogs!
Description: 20s Male, deeper voice, general American accent.
{Brackets} are used to help with pronunciations and are not spoken.
Have you come here seeking your death? Openly speaking against Gaius {Guy-yus} Magnus, ruler of Dry Wells, conquerer of Caesar's {Kai-Zar} 87th tribe?
Fighting with words, like a profligate. I do not fear your veiled threats. Leave, while you still can with your life.
Passage beyond Dry Wells is restricted to Legion subjects, merchants, and Legionaries at this time
Description: 30+ sounding male, general American accent. Open to any ideas for tone. Minor role, ~10 lines.
Hey there, welcome to Sun Scorched Supplies! We've got all you need, so there's no need to look anywhere else. Seriously.
We specialize in... well, we don't really specialize in anything. We have a little bit of everything!
Let me grab my tools.
Description: Male voice, 20s-40s, general American accent. Open to any ideas for tone. Minor role, only a few lines.
Hey there, you looking to buy anything?
Howdy.
I’ll give it a shot.
Description: 20s-30s male, general American accent. Outspoken/confident, but doesn’t need to be too gruff.
Rick and Trudy were originally my customers, but I found myself not wanting to leave after working with them a bit.
Between taxes and the constant raider threat, it's too hard to turn a profit in NCR territory.
I've been a merchant for years now. I'm from out West originally, but I crossed the Colorado about a year ago and I haven't looked back.
