Hello, and welcome one and all to… DRAGON ’BRIDGED - FUSION REBORN ABRIDGED… yaaay….
I’ve always had an affinity for abridged work and abridged projects, and since I have a few buddies and the editing skills, i’d like to give a hand at abridging my favorite Dragon Ball Z movie, Fusion Reborn! We will cut this down into a 15-25 minute long video, and upload to YouTube! Here’s where I need your help: I have many of the characters casted and listed (in the video above,) but we need
I will not ask for you to be apart of the project 24/7, simply signing up is very grateful and I am thankful, however when recording lines it’s possible to do a LOT of them, so recording sessions can verge on an hour or two depending on the character in question. Keep that in mind please! There may be times when I ask you to voice minor/background characters, but if I do it will only just a line or two, and you can always decline.
REQUIREMENTS: DISCORD! This is the biggest thing you need to be in this project, if you don’t have one listed whenever you audition you will NOT be casted, no matter how good it is. A DECENT MIC!!! Your microphone dosen’t have to be studio quality, but a decent microphone is well appreciated!

This is Son Goku! If you’re auditioning for him, you already know who he is, obviously. Personality wise, we want to build off his original personality by making him not necessarily STUPID, per-say, but more crafty and oblivious. I’d like to imagine him more like SpongeBob in his personality than anything, even if that sounds a bit odd lol
VOICE WISE, ANYTHING GOES!!!! Do anything for his voice, we’re happy with any direction you take his voice! All I will ask is to not directly copy Sean Schemmel, i’d like something NEW with Goku’s voice! But, if you wanna make it similar to his, I won’t knock it. Just try to give it a lot of character and effort, other than that go wild :-)
[Frusturated] “Nah, Vegeta, you know the reason we have to fuse is because of my slow time reaction! Cut me some slack!”
[Excited] “Heya, Piccolo! Long time no see!”
[Super Saiyan 3 Voice] “Knock it off Vegeta, hes had enough! All he’s done is try to murder us, and our friends, and mess up otherworld—yeah nevermind, kill ’em dead buddy!”
Vegetas personality will be relatively similar to his personality in the actual source material, more similar to the manga than the anime. He won’t be as mean as he is in the beginning of the series, but his relationship to Goku is to be the straight-man and to keep him in check.
For his voice? Something similar to the funimation or ocean dub, go crazy with it and have fun with the voices :-]
[Angry and Condescending] “Fuse with you?! I’d rather die than do that again! …Ignore the fact I’m already dead.”
[Cocky] “Im about to kill you, and you’re nothing more than a shivering mess? At least try to accept your defeat with honor…”
[Furious] ”So I’m just going to wait around for my soul to get cleansed all day?!“
Gohan is a fresh out of high school, fun-loving powerhouse in this movie that take control of Earth while Goku is busy in other world. For the voice, it dosent matter if you want to do something like the funimation, or ocean dub for Gohan. Hell, I’ll even let you make your own voice for him if you want! As long as its in character for a teenager who isn’t afraid to throw a punch every once in a while, do whatever you feel fits!

[Joy] “Goten and Trunks already fused! This is gonna be a piece of cake!”
[Angry] “Freeza is back, dad. Back on his bullshit!”
[Heroic] “I am the one, the only, Great Saiyaman!”
Pikkon is a very wise fighter. He uses this to his advantage by planning out attacks. Pikkon has heroic characteristics similar to Goku's, and fights for the good. You could probably compare him mostly to a non-canon version of Piccolo, and that’s what we’re probably going for in the voice.
We’re looking for a deep, heroic type voice for Pikkon, almost as a parody of other super-hero’s. With the manner you do this in is your choice, you can copy the dub or do something new, but either way I’d love to see how you do!
[Distress] “Uhh, Goku! I don’t know if it’s wise to enter hell without any preparation!”
[Serious] “Quiet down, I have to calculate the mass of this Janemba fellow, and I must say… He’s damn big indeed…”
[Shouting] “That’s it, South Kai! If my Paycheck dosent triple by Tuesday, I’m going on North Kai’s team!”
He possesses great intelligence and knowledge about the universe and specializes in universal telepathic links. Even though he was already weaker than Vegeta before he taught Goku, King Kai is still a veritable library of skills, techniques and literally centuries of wisdom! Then again, we are still going to make him a jokester and gag character.
His voice I’m not looking much for, an impression of the funimation dub or ocean dub King Kai is fine by me. Just make sure you keep the goofy aspects to his voice, and then it’s fine.
[Cheering] ”Go, Goku! Kick his ass! Thats the star pupil I’m talking about!”
[Ticked off] “King Yemma, you just let hell break loose, and stood idle when it happend?! Oh my stars…’
[Laughing] “Hahaha, thats a good one south kai! Hahaha! Wait, you’re kidding right…’
Just do whatever for this voice I do not care 💀💀
[Fury] “Cmon, Pikkon! Go for the head! The head!”
[Teasing] “Well, well, North Kai! Look who ran out of options!”
[Dissapointment] “Well, Pikkon, looks like it’s back to training for another 1,000 years again. See you around, Goku.”
Even though he is the teacher of the greatest warriors in the universe, Grand Kai is more of a sweet and kind grandfatherly figure than a traditional disciplinarian.
Anything goes for his voice, as long as he sounds experienced and old. Other than that, have your fun with him!
“You go, girl! Fight with all your strength!”
“Yeah baby, now THATS what I call a punch!”
“Well, that’s the end of the tournament. Come back next millennium for the next annual one!”
Despite her temperament, Bulma often displays friendliness and helpfulness towards others. She tends to approach major situations rationally, often making crucial decisions on her own, and she tends to be very persistent in achieving her goals!
For her voice, I actually have something in mind for her! I made a test edit a while back using different audio, and thought this voice could just fit Bulma! (You don’t need to do it perfectly, just something to keep in mind) https://youtu.be/ZPQ1HGcmFdc
If you can’t fit that voice, that’s fine! Again, I want you to do whatever feels right with her voice, and you don’t have to follow any guidelines in doing a good voice for her, you can even do an impression of the dub! Whatever works :-]

Mr Satan, we all know him and we all love him. He’s cocky, brash, unassuming, and funny as all hell.
For his voice, try something like the Funimation Dub, but if you can’t do that, maybe a pro-wrestler W.W.E. type voice would be funny for him!! He dosent have many lines at all in this, so don’t worry about it too much.
[Shouting] “And now, one final stunt for the audience!”
[Shock] “Wait, so every single dead soul has come back to life?! Dear lord, hide me from my wife…”
