I'm working on an Abridged Parody of Dr. Stone. The approach that I'll be using is "Big Bang Theory, anime style" while staying true to the source material.
Yours truly will be playing the main hero himself, Senku. Abridged Senku will be about the same as the original although he'll have traits of Sheldon Cooper, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Church from RvB and portrayal homages to SAO Abridged Kirito and TFS's Vegeta.
Below is a list of characters and staff that will be required.
As time goes on more roles will be added.

Senku's "best friend." Much like in the original, he is often made into Senku's lab monkey. Portrayal-wise, think Caboose from RvB with a bit of Patrick Star thrown in.

Villain of the first few arcs. Unlike the original, where he is capable of speaking the full sentences., Tsukasa talks like a caveman. I have a special running gag planned for him, keh hehehehe!

In the original, Asagiri Gen is portrayed as a mentalist and speaks Pig Latin and loved to drink Coke. Abridged Gen is somewhat more of the same, except he is a bipolar recovering junkie. lol

In this abridged parody, Yuzuriha is a bit more abrasive and feels like the only sane one of the Petrification Survivors. She understands that Oki has feelings for her, but she just plays along just to humor him. In the modern era, she was a reporter of the school newspaper. You can adlib for this character if you want. For an idea on how to portray her, look up Android 18 from DBZ Abridged.

Daughter of the Village Chieftain, Ruri's younger sister.
The reason why she appears initially in this abridged version, is that she's been trying to get away from her incompetent father, her pushy sister, "Cringy Chrome," etc.
But her life changes when she meets Senku...
Pretty much the exact same as the original version, the only exception is stated above.
Think of SAO Abridged's Asuna as an influence.

In the original, Suika was a cute and sweet girl.
Here, her cuteness is a front for her more crazy, psychotic, sadistic, murderous personality because no one suspects the cute girl. lol
and the melon hides her scary side.
(Note: she even scares Senku and is good friends with Kohaku).
Based off of DBZ Abridged's Lord Popo if you're looking for an inspiration.

In this abridged parody, Ruri is a typical selfish , spoiled, pompous brat who gets others to do her work just because she is the Chieftain's daughter and is one of the reasons why Kohaku left the village.
She undergoes a change when she meets Senku.
For this character, go for a spoiled princess portrayal.

On the surface, Kaseki seems like a typical old man, ("you whippersnappers, get out my forge"), but in reality, he is actually very cool.
Think of Old School from Get Ed, a Jetix cartoon as an influence.
