Doctor Who and the Party At The End
Project Overview
Tin Dog Productions is casting for a new fan-made audio drama set in the Second Doctor era. The serial consists of four 25-miute episodes set to be released in early 2024.
Doctor Who and the Party At The End: The TARDIS brings Dr. Who, Ben and Polly to a stormy world to find a mass graveyard in an abandoned village and an alien spacecraft desperate to find out today’s date. In a nearby temple, a desperate group under the thrall of a gluttonous holy man suffer from a terrible affliction, all uncertain that they will wake up every morning. Primal forces are at work, despair threatens to tear two lovers apart and the party is only just getting started.

No prior knowledge of Doctor Who is required although actors playing Doctor Who, Ben and Polly will need to be able to deliver a convincing impression of the characters as they originally appeared on TV.
Recording will take place in December 2023 (dates & times to be arranged around actors' availability). Actors will be required to record lines remotely while on-call with other the rest of the cast. Actors are not required to have professional recording equipment but will need to have the means of recording decent quality audio with a good microphone.
PLEASE NOTE: Actors playing the roles of Doctor Who, Ben and Polly will also be needed to record the 4-episode serial Doctor Who: Harvest Season. Recording will take place over the same period.

The second incarnation of Dr. Who, as played by Patrick Troughton on TV. A curious socialite, wandering in time & space, during the earlier days of his life. A much quieter, less obvious Dr. Who.
Performance should strongly resemble Patrick Troughton's performance.
Also required to perform the part in Doctor Who: Harvest Season.

Originally portrayed on TV by Michael Craze. A young navy man from the 1960s who has inadvertently joined Dr. Who on his travels. Brash, a little loud, a man of action.
Performance should strong resemble Michael Craze's performance.

Ice warrior. A Neo-Martian Lord who has fallen through time, wondering if the history that made him was worth it. Inspired specifically by Alan Bennion’s various Ice Lords Slaar, Azaxyr and Izlyr, from The Seeds of Death (1969), The Curse of Peladon (1972) and The Monster of Peladon (1974) [performance should reflect this].

30s-40s. A hungry young clergyman who knows the way to ensure food is given to him is to tell people they die for a reason. A lover of control, carving his own space in the world in the face of imminent doom.

Well met, Ben and Doctor. Welcome to the Temple of the Divine - as the last of the clergymen, I thought it best for us to live up here together. Near to the Divine Will, and all.
I weep for the fact that I will not see them for a long time - but I know you will all be reunited with them soon. One by one, we shall go, until it is just me, standing alone in this hall... and then I will see you all there. (Beat) Blessed are the taken.
Another day begins, and more of us have been selected for the next life. I want to say... I want to begin... with the truth. The truth that... I do not really weep for them. I weep for those of you who knew them but I do not weep for them. The Divine, as always, finds the ones it needs.
Looking for someone with experience of editing audio, preferably radio plays, audio books or podcasts. Will work with producers to edit and master audio recordings, source foley and mix the final audio.

Looking for a digital artist to create artwork for the project. Working with pre-existing photographer, would be required to edit photographs and create professional-looking poster art for promotions. Preferably artwork in the style of Big Finish covers or BBC Worldwide's Doctor Who DVD releases.
