Devil's in the Details is my senior 2D animated short film. It's an occult comedy about what happens when a witch's plan to get back at her vampire ex boyfriend goes wrong and she summons Stan instead of Satan.
Winona is a young witch with backbone but just so happens to have a particularly bad vampire boyfriend. He, controlling, manipulative, has a particular way of getting her down. Her plan to summon Satan is nervewracking but gives her the confidence to fight back at bf. When things don't go as planned, she is shocked. She rides out that initial confidence to go toe to toe in a drag out fight against the bf but eventually he gets the upper hand and she realizes she is losing. Change to fear, desperation.

I call upon you, lord of hell, devourer of souls!

V: “how could you do this to ME??”
W: Oh grow up, Vaughn!
V: I can’t, I’m immortal!
W: Well you’d think 300 years would teach you something!
[truly frightened, you are desperate and know you have lost. begging]
