Descendants 2015 Full Fandub
Project Overview
♡ Hi there. If you don't know me, my name is Penelope, or Pen for short, and I am your director and editor for this project! I have been a voice actor, director, editor, and screenwriter for voiceover content since about age 13 back in the 2010s (I am now 29 and studied film in college). Creating content like this is my passion. I'm a daycare teacher by day, voiceover content creator by night. My channel on YT is PenelopeHawthorn.TV. I am co-producing this project with the ever talented and wonderful OneVoiceOneDream! She has been pre-casted as Mal, and I have been pre-casted as Fairy Godmother.
♡ What are you looking for Penelope?
I'm so glad you asked. For this production, my goal is to find actors and singers who ideally are also fans of Descendants! I would really like to prioritize fans as the cast here, because it creates an amazing sense of community and makes a big positive difference in the whole process!
♡ What's the timeline for this Penelope?
Here's my dream timeline for this project:
-December 1st casting call completed
-Fixed deadline. I will not cast anyone officially until December 1st
-December 31st second wave of casting (smaller roles) completed
-Lines deadline: end of March
(3 month recording timeline)
-Covers deadline: end of May
(2 month music recording timeline)
-Retakes in by the end of August
(3 month reshoot timeline)
-Official cover album released October 2nd, 2027 perhaps
(1 month music editing finalization timeline)
-Full fandub released November 6th, 2027
♡ Why is the timelines so long?
I respect the time and energy of my actors. This is an unpaid passion project, and I know life outside of this hobby has to come first. I also like to leave a lot of wiggle room for my actors, in case of personal emergencies, so I don't have to recast unless absolutely necessary. I never want to stress my actors out. My goal is for my actors to enjoy the experience.
♡ What audition format do you prefer?
MP3 files, AAABBBCCC format.
♡ How will this be organized?
Through a Discord server! Having a Discord account is a requirement for casting.
There will also be an optional group chat available through Instagram!
♡ Will the voice actors also be singing?
Yes! I would like for each role to go to a single actor/singer!

You’re telling me. It’s all “After you, old chum. Oh. Pardon me, did I bump into you?”. Where I come from it’s, “Prepare to die, sucker!” As my father says, “The only way to win is to make sure everyone else loses. You rip-!”

Mom? Dad? I’ve chosen my first official proclamation. I’ve decided that the children on the Isle of The Lost be given a chance…to live here in Auradon. Every time I look at the island, I feel like they’ve been abandoned.
A crown doesn’t make you a king. No it…your mother is Mistress of Evil and I’ve got the poster parents for goodness. But we’re not automatically like them. We get to choose who we’re gonna be. And right now. I can look into your eyes and I can tell you’re not evil. I can see it.
