Demon Slayer Abridged PILOT

Demon Slayer Abridged PILOT

Project Overview

This is an abridged of Demon Slayer. For all those auditioning, here's some set requirements.

  • Clean Audio is required. XLR preferred, We just can’t have static and all that junk.

  • No voice alteration. Noise reduction is fine but I want to hear your voice as it is.

  • Don’t be afraid to go for your own interpretation, it could help you.

  • Live direction is necessary.

And that's basically it. Good luck and have fun!!

Originally I posted a doc for auditions, but since I wasn't getting many responses, I put a casting call here as well. There could be a chance no one here gets the role since people are responding in the doc, but there also could be a chance of one of you getting a role. Good luck.

Sabito is a spirit that resides in Mount Sagiri. He along with Makomo was raised by Urokodaki to become strong demon slayers. Unfortunately they met their demise at Final Selection. He trains Tanjiro in spirit form so he won’t die. This character shares his official traits. He’s very stern and can’t stand weakness. He laughs at the sight of it.

  • (Dumbfounded, Slightly irritated) “Never in all my life have I witnessed an act so moronic”

  • (Insulting, amused) “You’re clearly mistaken. You’re not a human, you’re a hot turd stamped in the pavement”.

  • (Somber, proud)  “Heh. I’m gonna miss you kid”.

Like Sabito, Makomo is also a spirit of Mount Sagiri. She was also raised by Urokodaki and she also died at Final Selection. In this parody she lacks her kindness. She is very assertive, possibly more assertive than Sabito.

  • (Curious) “You’re a pretty angsty fellow”.

  • (Trying to hide her agitation) “No no no, don’t swing it at your left, swing it at my left.”

  • (Reminiscing) “Y’know I don’t remember. It was a good couple of decades since then”.
