Welcome to Augustine County! Where not is all it seems. It has been 12 years since the Earth-Underworld War. And 17 year old David Suarez isn't sure how to feel about himself. Sure, some people are a little different, but things go for the worse when David meets his deranged Uncle, Lucifer. Yes, THAT Lucifer. Can David protect his friends and family from the Underworld uprising? Can he protect his friends? And most of all, can he contain his newfound powers?

David Suarez is a new student at Richard Mills High School. He is an average protagonist, very basic and simple at first. Even though he can be socially awkward, he has his best friend, Benny, to help him out in the chaos of not only High School, but being half-demon as well. Only Lucifer and Benny know this secret however. Can David learn to control his powers and cope with the fact that he just isn't like everyone else?
September 18, 2342, Dear Log - It has been 12 years since the war, and I still find it hard to believe we live in a post-Underworld War world. My mom says we needed a change of scenery for once, so she basically drove me off to the middle of nowhere to some Country Bumpkin suburban city.
Wait... you are.... THE Lucifer? Like... The Devil? Like Satan? The big guy? Oh geez... I don;t think i'm ready for this... I already had a change of scenery, do I really need a new family member!?
That's... Lela. I first saw her at the grocery store when we first moved in... And now that I know she goes to the same school, I might have a chance! Now is the time... no backing down! No wussing out! Be yourself! I can't do this!
Lucifer is exactly what he sounds like, he is the Devil! For this interpretation, I went for a laid-back, chill uncle. He also acts like a businessman sometimes, as he runs all of Hell's business operations. He awakens Dave to his Demon side and serves as a sort of Mentor to him. Even though he is potrayed as a kind chill guy, he is still very much evil and the devil. He only cares about doomsday and Dave.
Let's see... thousands of years ago, the big guy and I were kinda best friends. I thought that the only way to deal with over-population was mass genocide, but... apparently that was too "sinful" so I was sent to Hell! I must say, it is MUCH fancier there.
Well, you see, you are a part of the Demon line! Since Abe was my brother, and you are my nephew, you are half demon! Your are also have angel, but like, they suck.
Oh come on! I don't know why you are always freaking out, Dave! Don't worry! As long as I am here, your friends can't see me unless I come into this plane! You see, the only reason you can see me is because your mind is open to all three realities!
Benny is Dave's goofy best friend. He is very much the comic relief character of the group. He meets Dave when he moves in, and instantly become attatched to him. He is also Dave's ultimate wingman, and motivates him to talk to his crush, Lela. Even though Dave never goes through.
Wait... WHAAAAA!? That is crazy! I had no idea you were a... what was it again?
Ok, I appreciate the depth of the situation, but uh... Dave? Are you going to finish that sandwich?
I didn't want it to come to this, but you leave me no choice! I ordered a plain Cheese Pizza!!! Without toppings!!!
Lela is Dave's crush and a recurring character in the series. She is a well meaning young woman who tries to stay away from drama and romance in the school. As a result, she doesn't have much friends but is definitely known around.

The artist for the backgrounds can have any style, personally. But they should be able to draw school interiors, nature-filled forests, normal bedrooms, and dystopian versions of Hell. Please either draw a concept sketch, or show me previous work. Thanks!
