Project Overview
Heya, I'm Futotori!
I'm working on a visual novel for Spooktober jam 2024!

The game I am working on is called Love Death Repeat; a game where the protagonist is stuck in a time loop in a shitty 80's slasher game. The game is a dark comedy, where romance with the killer might be the only way out!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUDITION:

Discord will be the main communication so please have an account and be willing to join the server. Please include your discord user in your audition. We'll reach out to you through your discord!
As this is for Spooktober VN Jam, we only have until the end of September to finish the game so please bare that in mind. Make sure you have enough time to commit.
The game will not be fully voiced, with only some key lines and parts of the game being voiced. If everyone is up to it, we may have more voice acting, however with the time constraints this is currently the plan.

A masculine seemingly shy good cinnamon role of a man who is actually a crazed killer! He seems shy, wholesome and helpful on the outside but deep down he is depraved, insane and a very closeted gay for the protagonist Theo. He's calculating, precise, observant and careful. Everything must go to plan.

A closeted Lesbian in love with Melody, Amber is a bimbo blonde who values her large rack over any practical skills. She projects and often bullies others to hide her own insecurities.

A somewhat friendly Jock who desperately wants the love of Amber, completely blind to the fact that she's a Lesbian (to his credit so is she). He always wants to be the hero-- the good guy. But he caves into peer pressure and acts in ways that aren't so good. He's a people pleaser to a fault. Due to this he acts like a cliche Jock and often bullies others to "fit in"

Melody is a closeted lesbian who is constantly bullied by the "popular kids" (Amber, Logan and Sasha). She would rather read books than make friends. She's not like other girls and will tell you that often.

Sasha is someone who is not known for her brain at all. Whilst being very emotionally intelligent she exists in a reality removed from our own. She's Ambers lackey and wishes to be just like her; doing everything she says. Whilst she doesn't intend to be mean, she parrots everything Amber does and has also become a bully.
She should have a Southern accent

Bill seems like a hard edged drill sergeant here to make the kids better. But in reality he's never been in an army yet alone been to war and is a complete coward. Despite how much he brags about his time in the military, none of it is true. Not to mention he's a fully grown adult "dating" Sasha; a teen.

The most relaxed and normal guy of the group, Steve prefers to smoke weed in the back of the bus and not deal with anyone's bullshit. He often says weird and somewhat cryptic things like it's nothing and just speaks his mind.

Mr.Schulman (or Greg) is the groundskeeper of the summer camp and is a raging alcoholic. He hates everyone, especially children and just wants to be left alone on his dock. Despite this he is surprisingly helpful in that he remembers the time loops. He won't help without a reason to however.
