Dangcanronpa: Code Despair fan project
Project Overview
Hello Students, and welcome to Star Shine High, a school where dreams come to life!
Dangcanrompa: Code Despair sets in an alternative universe where Hopes Peak has a rival school called Star Shine High. At Star Shine high its very simaler to at Hopes Peak, there are ultimates, etc. However at Star Shine things are a bit more artsy. This year a new classroom is created, and a whole new group of kids are scouted by talent scouts to fill in the desks of the new classroom, however things dont go as planned. After the school is put into lockdown and the rest of the students are killed, class 2-B is forced into a killing game, follow our protaganists Ena, Katsumi and Enki as they attempt to track down the mysterious perpetrator behind the schools lockdown, and get their classmates out alive.
Code Despair will be uploaded onto itch.io, and will be in a visual novel esc format with animated exucutions, this series will contain sensitive content such as murder, abuse, manipulation, transphobia and some other stuff aswell. You must be atleast 13 years or older to audition, and must have discord and a decent mic (earphone mics are fine)
ALSO, it would be prefered if you are already somewhat familier with the dangcanrompa franchise.

Ena is the daughter of 2 famous actors, and because of that she learned her passion for films fairly fast. Shortly after she was born, her family went to Italy to film a movie, but the small family ended up falling in love with the city and decided to stay. When she was only 12, she helped direct the famous movie The Skyscouts, and became sought out after by big film companys. She manged to direct 2 more hit movies before her family moved back to Japan when she was 14. Once Star Shine talent scouts saw her work, they quickly invited her. Ena is cheerful and determined, her biggest dream is to become a film director in Paris.

Katsumi is the ultimate international star, they are a big hit worldwide, however they desired a break from the spotlight. One they were scouted, they instantly took up the oppertunity. Katsumi used to be bullied for being nonbinary, to the point where the only way to escape the bullying was through song, once their mom posted a video of them singing, it went viral, and caused them to be an international superstar.

Enki was born into a poorer family and his mother always told him to presue his dreams, however when he was only 6 she died due to an unkown sickness. Enki decided to follow his dreams for her, even when he was made fun of by his father and classmates. Once he was scouted by Star Shine high, he imediatly accepted.

Kiyoshi grew up in a neglectful household, his father died when he was fairly young, and his mother being a raging alcoholic, he never had someone to lean on, but that is when he met dispeariss. They started talking online and she convinced him to join his schools chess club. Once he did he feel in love with the game, he started to worship Dispeariss for "bringing him into the light", he loved the rush of despair he felt when he would loose in a chess game to the point where he got addicted. Once he found out that Dispeariss was attending Star Shine High, he bribed a talent scout to let him into the school. Once he learned that Dispesriss was Chika, they started to create the killing game together. Kiyoshi is often Calm and mysterious. He hides his age and he believes his "true ultimate" is the ultimate despair.

Kokoro is a quiet, reserved, intelligent young girl. She is the middle sister of 3 and is often busy. Due to her having no friends her entire life other then her sisters, she tends to belive it is overrated and lacks empathy, often hurting others without realizing it. From early on she realized her passion for flowers and opened a small flower shop down near her local marketplace. Her shop became so well known in Japan that she was scouted by talent scouts for Star Shine High along with her two sisters.

Pupukuma is a dog/cat hyprid (spificaly a pomski and a ragdoll). Pupukuma hates being called cute, and he will kill anyone calling him cute. I imagine his voice being simaller to robofizz from helluva boss, but more high pitched. Whenever he swears the word will be bleeped out by a dog bark or a cat meow, Pupukuma hates kids, and makes sure everyone knows it.

Anzu is a bubbly, hyperactive, brave 13 year old. Anzu is the youngest out of 3 and is often labeled annoying by her peers. Born with the rare skin condition viligito, she is often made fun of, dispite that she has lots of friends and is quite popular amongst the girls in her class. Anzu started sewing when she was only 5 in order to help support her family after her fathers company went bankrupt. However, she never really had a passion for sewing throughout her life, but many of her mothers co-workers commision her to make them dresses, causing her to be scouted at the ripe age of 13, and causing her to skip middle school. Anzu often masks the pressure she gets by others to be a world famous seamstress with her bubbly and happy-go lucky demeanor.
Anzu has a higher pitched voice, she often talks faster too.

To their suprise, she ended up quite enjoying it there. She was introduced to the occult by one of her friends and became inspired to join one. She joined a famous cult The Blue Raven, and eventually took over it. A talent scout joined the cult and quickly invited her to the school, promising her people greatness, she attended. Meako is often deemed as emotionless and quiet.

Chika is the oldest member of the Fukuhara family and is the oldest in class 2-B. She is the ultimate technician and a famous hacker under the name of her alter ego 'Dispeariss'. Chika is mature, calm, and very manipulative. She even calls herself the ultimate hero after its revealed she is the mastermind. The thing with Chika is that she believes she is being the "hero" by trapping her classmates in a killing game (we are heading into spoilery terriritory so ima stop here). She has always loved computers, her father and her bonded over their love for screens, once her father went bankrumpt, she promised him she would make millions for the family, and would go to the library to practice programming. By the age of 9 she created 5 robots and 1 super computer. Once she learned about Star Shine academy she made it her goal to attend there. She managed to hack into the system and sent herself an invite to the school. She acts motherly around her classmates and deeply cares for them.

Siri has an unknown ulimate and is the actress Chika forced to be Dispeariss when she couldn't be. Siri is apart of an international exchange program and is from Denmark, her first language is Danish. Siri was the only survivor of her class when the school lock-down massacre happened, Chika took her and forced her to pretened to be Dispeariss, if she broke character even once, she would be killed. If Siri were too successfully get all of class 2-B to murder eachother, then she would be able to go home to her family to Denmark, if not she would get publicly executed. From what we have seen from Siri, she used to be a nice, kind girl, now filled with anxitey and self-doubt. Her eye was shot out by Kiyoshi, and she is a christian.
