Hello there!
Over the last year I've been keeping up a mostly-daily series of Danganronpa memes on Reddit, and in celebration of reaching my 200th post I thought the best way to celebrate this milestone would be to go back and dub some of my favorite and most popular posts. So, I'm looking for voice actors to work with me to help make this project happen.
The finished project will be a video posted to YouTube and Reddit a few minutes long containing 27~ different scenes.
This project is unpaid. Thank you for considering my passion project.
I ask that everyone who auditions be at least 16 years old. Danganronpa characters are mostly 16 to 21 years old, so voices that match that age range are ideal.
A Discord account is required. Discord is the most convenient way for us to keep in touch. Once you're cast I'll ask for your Discord handle and invite you into a server where we'll discuss the rest of the project. You won't be required to chat with me or the rest of the cast.
Perfect impressions of the official voice cast are not required. You're welcome to take inspiration from the English dub cast, but mimicking them is not a requirement. You'll be cast based on how well your voice and performance fits the character's personality.
This script contains swearing. There are a few f-bombs and other rude words dropped, so I ask that you be comfortable with that if you choose to audition.
Feel free to audition for multiple roles. If your performances suit multiple characters then you may be cast in multiple roles. I'll be playing several characters myself, so I'm not against double casting for this project.
This project requires very low commitment. I'm not looking to set up a group for several projects, this is a one-time short effort. If it goes well I may ask you to reprise your role(s) later on, but that is completely up to you.
Once you're cast, you will have two weeks to record and send in all your lines. Most characters have fewer than 10 lines, so this shouldn't be difficult at all.

Kaede is a warm and caring individual with a firm sense of resolve and an at times offbeat sense of social boundaries.

Maki is cold and quiet, the only emotions she expresses often being annoyance and indifference.

In canon, Chiaki is soft-spoken and calm, and stays relaxed and casual in almost any situation.
In this project, however, Chiaki is exaggerated to be an awkward, loud gamer. You'll need to keep her soft voice up while saying things like this. Best of luck to you.

Tsumugi is an intensely devoted nerd who loves nothing more than displaying her love of fiction.
