Danganronpa: System Down is a Youtube-series Fangan with a fully voiced story. Follow Sonya Dawn, the Ultimate Judge, as she is thrown into a virtual world with fifteen other Ultimates.
Without knowing what is going on, the sixteen Ultimates are thrown into a killing game by The System itself.
Monitored by The System's robotic and cold voice, the sixteen students have to unravel the mysteries about The System that trapped them, and the reason why they been put into it. Follow the sixteen students as they explore the ever-changing world of The System and fight for thier lives as they try to solve the murders of their friends.

Medium to medium high pitch.
She is a stern, but friendly person, and this should be reflected in her voice. As she’s the protagonist of this fangan, the viewer will also be able to hear her inner thoughts, so it’s important that you are up for a rather large workload.
As a voice reference, you can look at Kaede Akamatsu from New Danganronpa V3’s English voice.
Calm and formal. "Hello, My name is Sonya Dawn, It's very nice to meet you, I got the title of Ultimate Judge, I hope we get along."
Slightly annoyed and sarcastic. "I'm finding you guilty of being quite the lazy person, Aron..."
Thinking calmly. "If Sylvester keep this up...He will only make enemies and no friends"
Surprised, but happy. "I'm quite surprised! You can both make delicious drinks and food. You should be the Ultimate Cook instead, Gin!"
Serious and annoyed. "There must be some way for us to figure out who killed him. Culprits always have a way of incriminating themselves!" "
Medium pitch.
Gin is a rather sarcastic person, and it’s important that you can hear this in his voice. He has a very “best friend” vibe as well, which needs to come clearly through as well.

Happy ang jokingly. “My name is Gin Daiquiri. I'm the Ultimate Bartender. Sadly, I can't show of my skills to you guys, but I can always mix up some juice!"
Half joking, half sarcasm. Sounding slightly dejected. "Wow, those two are like mixing oil and water. No amount of mixing will make their friendship work..."
Joking, with a bit of laughter mixed in. "You know, I've been working for a long time and I haven't had such a lively crowd like this before...it's funny."
Annoyed and agitated. "You really think I did it? Either you're completely drunk or just immensely stupid."
Medium and high pitch.
Jess has two distinct sides to her, and it is important that the audience can hear the difference between them. When she is speaking as Jess, she has a medium pitched, friendly voice, and when she is speaking as Kango, her pitch has to audibly go up, and she has to sound rather cartoonish.
As a voice reference, you can look at Mei Hatsume from My Hero Academia’s English voice.
Starts upbeat, and then turns cartoonish when she turns into Kango. "My name is Jess Uluru and I'm the Ultimate School-mascot," *puts on hood* "AND IIIII'M KANGO the Ultimate mascot. YAHAHAHA!"
Said as Kango, very comedic tone. "DO NOT HIT ME, THAT'S JUST ANIMAL CRUELTY!"
Said as Jess, very kind and surprised. "What do you mean? Me and Kango are two different people. Do not get us mixed up silly. Hahaha!"
Starts as Jess, thinking, and then evolves into a joking Kango. "So, what you telling me is they dragged him all the way over there. IF THEY HAD POUCH LIKE ME IT WOULD HELP!"
Medium pitch.
Harry has to sound as the stereotypical cool guy at school, always wanting to be treated as just another one of the crowd, which is not always the easiest, as he is in a wheelchair. When someone makes fun of his condition, either by accident or deliberately, his voice has to turn shy and small.

Kindly and warmly. "Hello there, It's very nice to meet you all. I'm Harry Automan, I know I'm handicapped but just treat me like one of the bros, okay?"
He is talking proudly about his wheelchair. "This bad boy can both float on water, go upstairs and even pick me up on its own. I designed it and it's just the best!"
Proudly and very happily. "Nah, I can get that myself. My wheelchair has an elevator function. I might be down here, but it can raise me to the height of two meters!"
Annoyed and angry at being accused. "Did you seriously just say I transported the body with my wheelchair, DUDE! There's not enough space for two people on this thing!
Medium pitch.
Zale sounds very much like a tomboy, and one that doesn’t have time for you at that. Every second where she isn’t turning a profit, is a second wasted in her eyes, and it’s important that you bring this in your delivery. We want to feel like we’re wasting your time just by talking to you.
As a voice reference, you can look at B-Sha from the Neptunia series.
Very dismissively and as if she doesn’t have time for you. "You wanna know my name? Well, I'm Zale Adastor and that will be 300 dollars for that info, Smartass."
Rather annoyed. "As a merchant you will always have to figure out the next big thing to sell, in this game information is everything, you want info, hand over the money."
Filled with pride, and slightly annoyed. "Do you think I would eat that slop of food, when I can have Faust make it? Golden food for a golden tooth, HA!”
Carefree, but slightly annoyed. "Yeah, I sold the killer the harpoon, what about it? I'm not forced to tell you who I sold it to. A merchant has a pride too you know."
Medium pitch.
Diego is a very happy-go-lucky kinda guy, and he is extremely confident to boot. As a journalist, he’s always looking for the next big scoop and views the whole world through that lens, which we need to be able to hear in his voice. He has a slightly perverted side, that he isn’t afraid to show, and which comes out especially around the girls.
As a voice reference, you can look at Childe from Genshin Impact’s English voice.
Calm, but still prideful. "Spare me the details, I already know who you are! ‘How’ you might ask? Well, I'm Diego Diadosi Ultimate Journalist, Duh!"
Sounding excited and happy. "To be fair, sixteen Ultimate Students trapped in a virtual world would make a good story. I can already see the headline! World's hope trapped in the data world, haha!"
Slightly perverse happiness. "To be fair, this would be a news scoop in it of itself. Cute girls in bathing suits have always attracted headlines you know. I don't complain at all of this view."
Calmly and composed. "The library huh? To be fair I was the last person to see them in there, but like, that doesn't automatically make me the killer, does it now?"
High pitch.
Emilia is a rather normal-sounding teenager, who’s just trying to live her best, normal, teenage life. She doesn’t have any “weird quirks”, as she calls it, referring to the unique traits of her classmates.

Happy and welcoming. "It's very nice to meet you, I'm the famous stunt pilot Emilia Boeing, it’s very nice to meet you and all that jazz!"
Sounding annoyed. "Sometimes I feel like the only normal girl around here, why does every Ultimate Student need some weird quirk?"
Calm and composed. "Yeah, I once flew through a ring of fire, upside down and with a blindfold, what about it?
Angrily shouting. "Okay, can we calm down! We aren't gonna get anywhere by shouting at each other like monkeys!"
Medium-medium low pitch.
Faust is a rather calm presence in the group, always wanting to help his classmates in whatever way they need, which we should be able to hear in your delivery. He is a very straight-forward type of man, and therefor has a rather hard time understanding when something is meant sarcastically.
As a voice reference, you can look at Zhongli from Genshin Impact’s English voice.
Politely and formally. "Very nice to meet you, ladies and gentlemen, I'm Faust Majordome. The Ultimate Butler at your service."
Very seriously said. "Oh, would you like me to kill you then? If you really don't want to live and all that, I will help you."
Sounding apologetic, but otherwise calm. "I'm sorry, I would love to spend time with you guys, but I promised to clean up Aron's room. He requested my service."
Sounding sad and desperate. "I'm but a servant, If I can take the execution for them, I will. My life is worth nothing compared to my friends!"
Medium-medium low pitch.
Felicia speaks in a very straight-forward, but creepily, and slightly twisted tone of voice. She is not unfamiliar with corpses, as she is a medical professional.

Cold and creepily. "Hahaha...You do have a nice bone structure, perfect for the Ultimate Surgeon Felicia Apothy to dissect."
Annoyed and angry. "Cutting things is an art too, Sylvester. I can show you, if you stand still for two seconds!"
Twisted and scary sounding. "If anyone needs my help, please come. We can do some... interesting... experiments with some new medicines and cuts."
Annoyed and flabbergasted. "Are you seriously fighting a surgeon on the matter of autopsies? You do know I actually am a person in the medical field?"
Medium-medium high.
Sylvester has a passion for the beauty of humanity’s most depraved sides and considers himself a bit of an artist. He is very prideful in his own work but is just as much ready to praise fellow artists’ work, if it is pleasing to him.
As a voice reference, you can look at Dazai from Bungou Stray Dogs’s English dub.
Prideful, and full off shock. "You are not joking...You truly don't know who I am. I'm stunned you don't know the human art, Sylvester Bravura!"
Disgusted and annoyed. "What are you talking about? Suicide isn't something grime... It’s simply an expression of emotion... the emotion of true despair... You wouldn't understand."
Said in a happy, but twisted tone. "My palate is quite refined, I'm happy we have a sophisticated person like you Faust...If not I might have starved to death...but that too is art..."
Genuinely shocked. "Why are you stopping me from talking about the body. The killer truly made a beautiful art piece...Would it not be mean not to recognise the effort?"
High pitch.
Eva is a very kind and welcoming person, always happy to greet someone new, who knows? They might be a new friend! She has a tendency to slink away and generally go quiet around very outgoing people. She loves animals, and is easily excited by the prospect of them.
As a voice reference, you can look at Hitoka Yachi from the Haikyuu English dub.
Warmly and kindly. "You are very kind and thank you. I'm Eva Agria Ultimate Zoologist...I like humans and animals alike!"
Shocked and disgusted. "Sylvester how long has it been since you bathed?! You smell worse than a skunk... Ew..."
Happy sounding, with extra emphasis on the sloth. "I'm so sad that we can't find any animals. Tropical climates have some of the more interesting animals...like sloths!"
Sad and on the verge of tears. "I-I'm so sad that he is gone... I c-can't go on... W-why did this happen... Why…?"
Medium-medium low pitch
Aron is always either tired, bored, annoyed, or a mixture of the three. He generally doesn’t care much for drama and tends to stay away from loud places, as the noise annoys him. He has a habit of referring to people as different chess pieces.
As a voice reference, you can look at Albedo from Genshin Impact’s English voice.
Sounding sleepy and slightly bored. "If you would be the queen... then I'm the knight... Aron Knightly... Ultimate chess player..."
Slightly annoyed, but mostly tired. "Those two pawns... over there were trying to annoy me... so I just walked away..."
Sounding sleepy and annoyed. "Leave me alone... I wanna sleep... Go annoy some other pieces... This one is in checkmate for now."
He is actively helping for a moment, before going back to being tired and annoyed. "So, like... if he died in the library... why was he transported to the shop... Why... Why do I need to do this, I'm tired..."
Jean’s voice is slightly growly and gravely. She has a very tomboyish sounding voice, with a hint of school yard bully. It’s important that we can hear this in your delivery. She is quick to anger and it isn’t an uncommon occurrence for her to get into fist fights, but she also has a soft side that shows around her classmates.
As a voice reference, you can look at Beidou from Genshin Impact’s English voice.
Annoyed and angry. "Who do you think you're talking to? I'm Jean Stelle, boy... Ultimate Blacksmith. Do not come here and act like a prince charming around me!"
She sounds prideful at first, but her tone turns annoyed in the middle. "That harpoon is sharp...I could have made a sharper one and all that...Wait why you looking at me like that?! I didn't do it, okay!"
Friendly at first, but then annoyed. "Come here girl, I'll protect you from the big scary boys. HEY! If you wanna fight a girl, come at me, punk!"
Calm and collected. "Yeah, that wouldn't be a problem. If they were shot with a harpoon. You can easily pull on the rope without the harpoon leaving the cadaver. "
Medium-medium high.
James is a rather paranoid person, especially around other people, but if this is true or just a front he puts up, no one knows. He seems to also have a rather playful side, which can quickly turn downright evil and cruel at the drop of a hat, so it’s important that you can change tone in the middle of a line. He seems to also be rather empathetic, but it’s hard to tell whether this is an act or not.
As a voice reference, you can look at Ramsey Murdoch from Epithet Erased, only higher pitched.
At first paranoid, but he calms down in the middle. "Why do you wanna know? Who are you asking for?! O-oh yeah, sorry. Need to calm down. I'm James Black. Ultimate Smuggler."
Smugly, and slightly annoyed. "To be fair, you are making fun of human trafficking, but do you know how much you can sell a person on the black market for? I think not."
Sneaky, but desperate sounding. "Psst, Pssssst. I will sell you a bottle of alcohol from Gin's room, if you hand me that sandwich. I'm hungry!"
Stated in an annoyed and cold tone. "I've seen a lot of gruesome things in my life...This is nothing. So, stop trying to push your emotions of sadness onto me, girl."
Medium pitch.
Lola is a very upbeat and energetic person, who always tries to spread cheer and positivity wherever she goes, so it’s important that you really turn up the happiness in your delivery for her. She is a very comedic force in the story and always ready to lend a helping hand.
As a voice reference, you can look at Chie Satonaka from Persona 4’s English dub.
Said with a proudful and upbeat voice. "You, of course, know me! I'm Lola Spike. Ace of Japans volleyball team. My spikes hit harder than a meteor!"
Upbeat and carefree. "What do you mean? We just need some exercise, A lap around the hotel. Let's go!"
With an upbeat and excited tone. "Let me hear you roar, girl! Show some attitude. You can't let the enemy know you are tired yet!"
Confident, as if she just solved the whole case. "What if they threw the body into the air and spiked it into the window? That would explain the glass shards!"
Medium-medium low pitch.
Alex is a very calm and composed person, and this has to be very clear in his voice. He is rather slow to anger, preferring to take a step back and a few deep breaths, before reinserting himself into the action with a cleared mind, which is a practice he tries to put onto his classmates.

Calm and composed. "Very nice to meet you two. I'm Alex Qi...Tai-chi master. Fate must have brought us to this hotel..."
Relaxed, and extremely calm. "Let the chi flow through your body, friend. Calmness is the goal to success. Let us not get angry but rather stay focused on the task at hand."
After he threw Sylvester on the floor, slightly annoyed. "Now you know the consequences of your actions...Let the pain in your back and blue sky remind you that respect goes a long way!"
Calm, but sternly. "Everyone calm down! We can't let anger get to us. If we think clearly this case will solve itself... We are a team... Not enemies..."
