Danganronpa: Return is an original Danganronpa fan "game". Many of these are around, but this one is unique. Rather than creating a full cast of original characters, this project centers around returning characters from previous Danganronpa games. I have chosen four fan favorites each from Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa Goodbye Despair, Danganronpa V3 Killing Harmony, and Danganronpa 3 Future Side. They have no memories of the events of previous games, and there are no spoilers for them whatsoever. That's a basic synopsis, so now we'll get more specific.

How long will this project last?
Expect this project to last at least a year. It's possible it could take longer, and it's possible that it could be shorter. There's no guarantee.
What's the medium that it'll be released on?
As of right now, we are planning on releasing the project on YouTube.
Who is needed for the project?
As of right now, we need eighteen voice actors, a few editors, a social media expert, and a few artists. If you are willing to help with any of these, please audition for the specific roles!
What's the script looking like?
As of right now, only the prologue is written, but I am continuously working on it. It's looking to be around 20,000+ words per chapter.
More about the plot?
Basically, sixteen students or alumni of Hope's Peak Academy were kidnapped and brought to a hotel. There, Monokuma and Monodam tell them to kill each other. Once a murder occurs, the remaining students will have a class trial to determine the killer! Wash, rinse, repeat. Also, this is very important! THE DEATHS ARE NOT THE SAME AS CANON AT ALL!!!
What are the requirements?
Have Discord. It is how we will be communicating.
Please be ready for a fairly long term commitment.
The mic quality doesn't need to be fantastic, but a Blue Snowball will probably be the minimum.
Be patient. I'm fairly new at hosting a project, and things might not start up for a while.
Only audition if you think you can show a diverse range of emotions.

Kaede Akamatsu is known as the Ultimate Pianist. At the time of this story taking place, Kaede is a new freshman at Hope's Peak Academy. Her personality as calm and collected, but there are times where she can get confused/panicked, or say strange things. She's the protagonist of this story, and is usually the one keeping the group in line. Unlike most other protagonists, Kaede is in control most of the time, and is confident.
Her voice should sound pretty generic, and in the medium to medium high range for a female. Most of her lines should sound confident except for the second line. Be ready to have to display emotions such as anger, sadness, joy, and so on and so forth.

Koichi Kizakura is significantly older than most of the other students. He claims that he, along with three others, were on their way to speak at orientation, similar to how the others were attending it. Apparently, he's an alumni of Hope's Peak Academy, but he can't remember his talent, but he doesn't seem too worried. Koichi appears to be kind, but it seems like there's something that he knows about the whole situation.
Koichi should have a more mature sounding voice, yet it's around the medium vocal range for males. He often reacts very calm and laid back, but there are times where even he can panic, and often reacts to things sarcastically. He should be able to do a wide vocal range, and a wide display of emotions, including anger, fear, joy, and mysterious. (I know that's not an emotion, but let's just roll with it.)

Kokichi Ouma is called the Ultimate Supreme Leader. He claims that he runs a secret organization with over ten thousand members, but then again, he also claims that he's a liar. He's a part of this years freshman class, along with Kaede. Nothing is really known about him, as his profile is very unclear in the online forums for Hope's Peak Academy. He's a liar and a trickster, and takes pleasure in both of those facts.
Kokichi has a fairly high pitched voice for a male, around medium to medium high. If a female is voicing him, it should probably be medium to medium low. He should sound playful, but also able to sound sinister when needed. Be ready to laugh crazily, sound sinister, be a trickster, and cry/fake cry.

Celestia Ludenberg is known as the Ultimate Gambler, as well as the Queen of Liars. She seems polite at first, but then there are times where she lets her true nature show. In those cases, she appears frightening and a little crazy. Celestia is a part of Hope's Peaks Junior class at the time this takes place.
Celestia uses a fake accent most of the time, and her first two lines should be read in that fake accent. It appears to be French, but it shouldn't be too overwhelming. Her voice is around the medium high range when doing her fake accent. The rest of the time, when she gives up the charade, Celestia has a more medium to medium low register for a girl, and her last line should be read (Shouted) in that voice.

Kyoko Kirigiri is known as the Ultimate Detective. She's cold and analytical, not usually spending time on making friends. Eventually, she warms up to you, but even then, it's hard to tell if she's being friendly or not. She's a Sophomore at Hope's Peak Academy at the time of this.
Kyoko is cold, and her voice reflects that. It's not exactly monotone, but it definitely has a lot less emotions than most other characters. Her voice is in the medium to medium low range for a female. Despite her character being fairly emotionless, be ready to still show a fairly broad range of emotions.

Juzo Sakakura was the Ultimate Boxer when he attended Hope's Peak Academy. He claims that he was on his way to speak at the orientation when he ended up in the hotel. He's pretty kind when he's not pissed off. Unfortunately, he's pissed off most of the time. He's prone to yelling, but there are a few people he cares about.
Juzo has a pretty deep and gruff voice. His range is around medium low to low for a male, and depending on what you want, his voice could sound a little gravelly. Be ready for lots of shouting, as for the second and third lines here. Despite being rough and tough, he also has an emotional side, so get ready to possibly cry and laugh.

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu is the Ultimate Yakuza. He's a Junior attending Hope's Peak Academy at this time. When making his character, I decided to go a slightly different route. Not much is different, but it's obviously harder for his to open up since Peko isn't in this. He's also slightly more of a womanizer, but that doesn't come out much. He's small, but he packs a big punch, especially in his words. He's quick with the insults, but he's also quick to anger and get flustered.
Fuyuhiko has a range from around medium to medium high for a male. He often sounds like he's done with everyone's shit, and his voice could be considered a little bit rough, despite his higher register. Be ready to shout, cry, and sound flustered, as with his second line.

Chiaki Nanami is known as the Ultimate Gamer. At the time of this, she's a Junior at Hope's Peak Academy. She's normally sleepy or gaming, often giving her a far away or dreamy personality. However, when she's not gaming or tired, she tries to do what's best for the group. She doesn't really like conflict, but she doesn't shy away from it, either.
Chiaki should have around a medium range voice for a female. Her voice should sound sleepy or distracted, and long/semi long pauses are fine with her lines. However, she can sound confident too, as with the third line. Definitely be able to laugh and be forceful, but shouting and crying likely won't be necessary. (However, it is an added bonus)

Miaya Gekkogahara was the Ultimate Therapist when she was attending Hope's Peak Academy. At the time of being taken to the hotel, she was on her way to speak at orientation. Miaya is a very shy person, and only talks through Monomi/Usami, on her computer screen. However, when talking through Monomi, she is cheerful and very quick to succumb to emotion. She is also very protective, and is a powerful motivational speaker, helping people to feel at ease and relax.
The voice for this character should be pretty high, and a perhaps a tiny bit squeaky. She also usually exaggerates a lot of her words. Overall, she says a lot of things in a similar fashion, but you may have to cry at times.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru is a Sophomore at Hope's Peak Academy, and is the Ultimate Moral Compass. He has a loud personality, and believes in morals above all else. He tries to do well, but ends up offending people sometimes. People think that he's a bit much. Ishimaru names himself as the leader of the group, and tries to help people as much as he can.
Kiyotaka is loud in voice as well as personality, and is around the medium range for male voices. He's prone to his emotions, including crying, definitely shouting, and shame when he realizes that he's doing something wrong.

Ibuki Mioda is the Ultimate Musician, and is currently a Junior at Hope's Peak Academy. She is extremely energetic, and is seen as a bit much. Despite that, she's exciting to be around, and aims to be everybody's friend. She often refers to herself in the third person, but it's not all the time. She's quirky if nothing else.
Ibuki has a diverse range with her voice, and anything from medium low to high would work for her voice. Of course, energy is necessary for her voice. Be ready to shout, cry, and be happy.

Kiibo is the Ultimate Robot, and is a part of the incoming freshman class. His creator (Professor Iidabashi) created him with a growth mindset, so he learns just like a human. Kiibo is often worried about people making robophobic remarks, and doesn't like it when people treat him badly. Overall, he's very kind and is a pure child.
Kiibo has a pretty standard voice and is around the medium range for males. Despite being a robot, he is able to display all kinds of emotions, so be sure that you can do that.

Chihiro Fujisaki is known as the Ultimate Programmer, and is attending Hope's Peak Academy as a Sophomore. Chihiro is extremely shy and timid, and has a bit of an inferiority complex. It's not too jarring, and he doesn't bring it up too much, but it's his reason for dressing up as a girl. He doesn't really like it when he is the center of attention, and prefers to hang in the background.
Chihiro could be voiced by either a male or female, and I don't prefer one or the other. His voice should be medium high to high for a male, and medium to medium high for a female. His voice is definitely more timid, and should have a bit of a stutter. Be ready to display emotions, especially sadness and crying.

Gundham Tanaka is the Ultimate Breeder, and is a Junior attending Hope's Peak Academy. His personality is very overwhelming, as he likes to pretend he is the "Overlord of ice". Despite his strange demeanor, Gundham is very kind, and will even go as far to sacrifice himself to help his friends.
Gundham has a pretty unique and straightforward voice, as he has a very deep voice for a male. As for the emotions that he needs to display, he's pretty stoic, so he likely won't have to cry. However, he needs to be able to be loud and boisterous, and possibly sound depressed and/or awkward.

Seiko Kimura was the Ultimate Pharmacist when she was attending Hope's Peak Academy. At the time of being taken to the hotel, she was on her way to speak at orientation. Seiko is reserved, and has a stilted way of speaking. She understands that people can guess what she is thinking through her facial expressions, so she hides her face behind a mask. She is known to startle easy, and is both quite anxious and shy. Seiko is also compassionate, being distraught at other people's deaths. She is also describes as soft-hearted, taking requests from other people, as well as caring for animals. Because of her soft nature, Seiko is very loyal and forgiving to her friends, unfortunately leading to her being easily manipulated.
Seiko should have a medium low voice for a female, often speaking a little deeply. However, there will be times where she will speak higher, but never going higher than a medium high register. She should be able to display a fair amount of emotion, as tensions are likely to rise around her. She should speak with a little bit of darkness in her, as well as sounding unsure.

However, if someone talks back, she has no backbone and backs down easily. Deep on the inside, she cares about her classmates, and actually has an inferiority complex.
Miu has around a medium voice for a female. She should sound slightly bratty, and definitely loud a lot of the time. However, it's pretty easy for her to be taken aback, or embarrassed.
