Danganronpa: New Despair Voice Actor Roles!
Project Overview
Danganronpa New Despair is a fan project that is going to be in english, for the time being. The theme or central idea for the game if going to be Past Vs Future, this game is also going to tackle very dark topics such as depression, suicidal thoughts, and abuse. Please note, this is still a fan project, so therefore, it is going to take a lot of time as actors, artist and even dev's have things to do outside the project. Thank you for taking the time to audition and hopefully we will see you here soon!
Requirements for voice acting:
-A decent microphone
-Some experience in voice acting (Between 6 months - 3 years or more, it does not matter to us)
-Willing to communicate to Dev's if anything is needed, such as time away or support

Yuuka is a very caring person. He tends to understand how the mind works, so when someone is upset or hurt, he knows what to say, how to say it and when it is the perfect time to talk about it. He is very quick with determining the facts, and is known as wise. He gets confused with being a female majority of the time due to his voice and very sexy hips. He loves to communicate with people and is loved by many of those he comes to know, of course there are those who tend to stay away as they are envious of his abilities.
Voice Type: Yuuka sounds like a female due to not reaching puberty and his body is weird.

Yugure is another quiet person. However, the only difference is that even though he is quiet, he is still a caring, sweet and genuine person. He is always tired due to lack of sleep, as he is a Stargazer. Similar to Seiko, he does not like being called his official title SHSL Astronomer, it does not seem too cool with him so he uses SHSL Star Gazer, as both are literally the same thing. He usually sleeps in the morning, but even then his insomnia tends to get the best of him and has him up all the time. He of course has to take pills in order to help him sleep so he does not have to miss a star, nor pass away
Voice Type: Pre-Adult voice, sounding tired and drained most of the time. Deep voice.
(Tired, bored, uninterested) Huh?... Hi... I am Yugure... Yugure Towairaito... Ultimate Stargazer... Ya need something?
(Annoyed, tired, bothered) Please leave me alone... I need to sleep... this is the only time I could catch the Kreutz sungrazer...

Noumi is a very understanding person. Noumi talks in a very strange way, similar to Gundam from SDR2, he speaks as though he is in the middle ages, however there are moments when he talks like a modern person, majority of the time is when he gets serious, upset or really focused. Additionally, his voice is not of a teen adult, but more of a regular teen in general. He has the middle age diction so he can sound more confident in himself and his abilities, at times his true persona shows; a energetic and at times shy teen boy who can use magic. He tends to say things that are way beyond what people can comprehend, especially when cheering someone up, he talks on for ages to get to the main focal point. Even with this, people still end up cheering up and feel better. He is one of the respected characters.
Voice Type: Like a young male teen who is very interested in the magical arts and child like at times.
(Enthusiastic, well-spoken, proud) Greetings mortal! I am Noumi Matshuchi, the Ultimate Mage! Are you not entertained by my magical abilities?
(Cheery, enlightened, well-spoken) I understand you seem to be lost in a dark path my fellow, we shall push through this lavishness! Thou sadness is not welcomed here, smile for your brethern, and hold on to any moment of happiness! Even if it last for a minute!

Trinity is our very smart and strategical character. She is very good at manipulating anyone, whether it be with her smart mind or her body. She is one of the oldest students, and most confuse her for being a former teacher or alumni due to her voice and body. Her normal voice is soft spoken and warm, however she can change it whenever the time is right, she can sound aggressive, sexy, caring and anything you could think of to get her way. Although her attire is quiet iffy, she uses it to manipulate the most straight men. Her personality is very mixed, however her intentions are just to get her way whenever possible, even if it means to hurt others.
Voice type: Like a very seductive woman, you could imagine the voice in movies where the female antagonist or protagonist s persuading the other character with their body and voice.
(Soft spoken, gentle, intimidating) Hello there, my name is Trinity Tore, how lovely to meet you.. hehe.
(Aggressive, intimidating, forceful) Listen here you little shit, no one will get in my way. I am going to survive this game, ME. You are all just my stepping stools to freedom.
(Hysterical, Intimidating, Manipulating) Come now, you think such a thing can happen? To use such force is something non human, most likely a robot, right Scrappy?
Notarin is a very confused person. He tends to be forgetful, and can hardly grasp and idea of something even after being told 10 times. Sometimes he might do something dumb and it actually works, yet he thinks he did something bad. Notarin was always bullied and left alone, so he tends to ignore those who talk bad and act like they do not exist. Another fact, Notarin is gay. Now continuing, he loves to have fun, joke around and be a little ball of joy. He wears a bag over his head because he is shy, and people have said he looked ugly in his life (even though he is hot as f***).
There is more than meets the eye with him. You will see that soon~
Voice type: Young male voice who is outgoing and gentle, his voice is also soft as well.
(Open, charismatic, silly) Hey there! I am Noutarin... well I do not know my talent... but my friends call me the Ultimate Hobo.. So yea! I am the Ultimate Hobo!

Takeshi is a very chill person. He is known as “The Neo-Enlightened”. He is one of the most wisest person and never really gets angry. He goes straight to the facts and calm someone down in a matter of seconds, making them see everything they are doing wrong and make them have a change of heart. However, when it does not work he stays very quiet and thinks, but the next day he gets better and is back to talking. He is the “never done anything wrong” person, and is the most innocent person in the group, he would not hurt a soul or even insect.
Voice type: Deep voice of a adult sounding man, it is very soft and gentle as well.
(Calm, soft spoken, pure) Hello fellow student, I am Takeshi Narukami, the Ultimate Buddist. Care for some wise words?
(Stern, Gentle, Soft Spoken) Let us regather our thoughts, and let his soul rest. If you remove all distraction, you shall be enlightened and see the path before us.
(Reassuring, Soft spoken) The knife found in the arm seems to be connected to the door knob being forced open, mighty Buddha has opened my eyes to see such a small obstacle.
Sayuri is very energetic and express EVERYTHING SHE THINKS. Her dislike is similar to Tenko from DRV3, her hate for boys will most likely make you go oof and most boys stay away from her. However once she gets comfortable with a dude, she will be her regular self as she is with your girls in the cheerleading team. Her true self is very kind and soft, she tends to worry about people too much, and can even sometimes leak out her normal self when she sees a guy sad, probably because she is a cheerleader and wants everyone to be happy.
Voice type: Energetic and slightly high as she is a cheerleader.

Similar to Seiko, Kira is a very open person. However, she is very sarcastic and tends to seem a bit rude from time to time. Kira is actually a very loving person who creates chemicals in order to create things for enjoyment and cure illness. She usually wears a mask and glove because she is a bit of a germaphobe, so touching and such tends to be a bit iffy on her side. Other than that, she is a well rounded individual when you get to know her.
Voice Type: Deep and adult-like. She is awfully sarcastic, so she can mimic voices and tones as well, example is that sarcasm towards Kanon.
(Well spoken, content, rushed) Hey there, I am Kira Otokonoko, the Ultimate Chemist. Thank you for speaking with me. Now if you will excuse me, I need to test out a new chemical I had built.
(Irritated, Sarcastic, Slightly Aggressive, Little British Accent) Yes Kanon, of course the killer would have been a so-called "crazed bitch who couldn't control herself and rekted the shit outta the guy". Tell me Sherlock, what else can you say to ol' confused Watson over here.

Seiko is a very open person. She loves to be out and about and is nowhere without her game boards. Seiko likes to be called a Traditional Gamer although she is known as the SHSL Board Gamer. She says being a called a Traditional gamer has a bit more pezas and sounds cool. Seiko is caring, thoughtful and fun to be with. If you are upset, she will force you to play a game of Chess, Monopoly, Sorry! Or Parcheesi. When Seiko gets serious, people say she can be frightening because she has a more darker personality and looks like she will stab someone. Other than that, people love her for being joyful and entertaining.

Shun is kinda like Jenna, although a bit more vulgar. He loves to take on any challenge that he comes across and push through it until he completes it. He does not like being made fun of, or seeing people get hurt. Shun has a very fiery attitude, meaning he is very hot headed, stuck up and proud. Although many times he may be wrong, he will still think he was right in some aspect. Even so, he is caring and protects those who knows and loves dearly. When a girl tends to be very kind with him and gets close, he blushes up and stutters, tending to be very gentleman like and do anything the girl wants him to do, unless it is something bad.

Scrappy is our best robot boy. He is similar to K1-B0 as he wants to try and protect everyone and does his best to understand everything around him. One difference is how Scrappy looks more human in both color pallette and hair, and has developed a sense of emotion within his robotic heart and code. His voice is not as robotic as well, in fact he is more human in voice and actions than he is robot. However, the way he speaks in manner is like someone who is reading a data page full of code. He does his best to be there for everyone. Oh by the way, this robo boiyo has loads of emotional feelings to male genders, if you catch my drift.

(Smart, Focused, Well-spoken) Folder: Crime Scene, Autopsy: A stab wound in the heart, bruises on the arm, leg and knuckle-most likely a struggle. Head injury from being shoved on the well. Folder: suspicious Object: red silk, note of victim, victims drawings. Will that be good enough for the info?
Kei is one of the shyer characters. He has a stutter problem, so he tends to stutter a lot when talking, which can annoy a lot of people. Honestly, he such a sweetheart and could also be a very good hero, he is sympathetic and is up to defend anyone. He tends to analyze things a lot, which can be challenging for InuMaid and InuButler, and can annoy a lot of people especially if a situation is small, yet it helps as he can analyze one's emotions and act accordingly. One other thing, when he gets very serious in his discussions, his stutter rate drops to 0%, and when he is scared, it shoots to 100%.

(Serious, Well-spoken, Analyze) The body was found near the table in the room, it also seems that the chairs had fallen over, meaning both the killer and the victim where talking with each other before the altercation... meaning the victim could have invited the killer to talk... but what were they discussing.
Jenna is a very carefree and outgoing person. She is known to be loud and out of the norm. Jenna cares more about her friends then she does of herself, it sounds bad but it is more like if someone were to talk to her in a negative light, she would not mind too much, but if they did it to her friends, she will pummel them. She is very strong, independent and is willing to lend a helping hand. She is one of the taller girls in this game, and looks similar to Miu from NDRV3 excluding most of the vulgar things Miu says in the game. Although people can say she is a bit annoying and too energetic, she is seen as someone who is fun to hang with and is loved dearly by friends and family.

Lev is the lone wolf in the game. Literally, is the same as Togami, just kidding haha. But in all seriousness, Lev tends to stray away from people, sending threats and belittling someone he wants to stay away from. He is not to fond of humans, however he loves animals so much. Lev ran away as a kid and lived in the forest with many animals, causing him to have an understanding of how one animals thinks, feels and talks. Another thing, he does not talk English very well, and has a Russian accent. Nothing much is said about him, except that he is serious, on point, lone wolf and rude.

Kanon is the rude girl of the game. She says what she wants and she at times does not care too much of how someone might feel. However, she is often insecure about herself, and her art. The cruelty comes from her not being able to vent too much thus sending her rage on to others. Though, once she finishes a manga or two, she is more calm-of course, still vulgar and harsh, though slightly. Kanon is like a child, and can be both sweet, yet deadly.

Yami is very lovely. She loves to use her talent to have creative, new ideas to keep everyone at ease. She does do manga illustrations and paint, however, there is much more she can do. She can sculpt, make abstract art, dance, sing, whatever creative thing you can think of, she can do it. Yami is such a happy go-lucky girl who is willing to give it her all when it comes to completing her motives or desires, and any idea as well.

Arashi is a very open person. He does tend to be lazy, and sometimes his mind wanders around. Sadly, he listen to music a lot so it distracts him sometimes and hard for him to talk with people. His art is his world, and he is content in doing anything artist, even if it is not the best. Once he is able to talk with people, he is very sweet and wants to do the best he can to make the person feel comfortable.

They tend to deal with rebuilding the school mostly, killing does not disgust them at any means, in fact, they are entertained by the deaths of others. It is just during their errands, they need to complete that duty first, or they will be executed by the mastermind themselves for not completing the task.
