Hey, what's up guys, (It's Scarce here), I'm just an amateur who wants to see how far he can take this project. Despite that, I do intend to give this as much attention as I can, and this will be far from a run-together project. Unfortunately, I do need a media person, to run tumblr and what not, and I also need editors and artists. Any are willing to tag along! I could use any help I can get.
Quick description of the events: Hope's Peak is a place that everyone knows worldwide. The best of the best high schoolers are scouted by the best talent scouts in the nation to seek out kids with extraordinary talents that go far beyond anyone else. These scouted kids are called "Ultimates" by the academy and thus the world. This is the tragic story of one class of Hope's Peak forced into a small island with the only building being a hotel that reaches 5 floors high. With no recollection of how they got there and who each other even are, the shit really begins to hit the fan. In classic Danganronpa style, extreme trust and extreme distrust are commonalities for the group. Who will make it out alive? Who is the mastermind? Who has extreme plot armor? Find out as Danganronpa: Fragmented Despair develops. (Was that corny? It was pretty corny wasn't it. The only thing that could make it worse is the inception bwooms that happen between and sometimes during sentences. I'm rambling.)
What is this project?: This project is simply an OC killing game that I wanted to see if I could put together. I have most planned already and am just writing out the script now. Originally, this was going to be a novel, but I decided that I wanted to make it a voice acting project instead.
Will you be casting before the due date?: I don't plan on it, no.
I'm not a voice actor, is there any way I could help out?: Plenty actually, I'm not artistically or editorially inclined in the least bit, so if you are an artist or want to help edit the video the help would be appreciated! I also need help running tumblr since I've never done that before.
Why aren't there any pictures of your characters? How can I fall in love if I don't even know what they look like?!: I am not an artist nor am I a pushy fella trying to get my OCs drawn by other people. I have full descriptions of most of my OCs on my Danganronpa Amino account TsuduceMeShirogane. Other than that, I don't have anything depicting any of my OCs besides Tsukune (Who will be getting a picture posted shortly after this gets published). If enough people want me to, I will post a fuller description of the character. As of right now this is a constantly updating project. As days go by I will be posting personalities for the characters unless requested sooner, by September 15th expect to see every character's personality put out.
How long would I have to turn in voice lines after being casted for a character? With each produced script, I would want lines sent in within 2 weeks after the script's release to you all unless in unforeseen complications, in which case I have no problem waiting.
How would you be splitting up uploads?: A full script will include Daily life, Deadly life, and the trial. Depending on how long the video itself is, each section may be cut into, most likely separating daily life from deadly life and the trial.
How many characters can I audition for?: As many as your heart desires! Audition away!

Tsukune is the protagonist of the story. He is a semi-famous Short Story author that gained a high appeal among the World's Youth and some adults with his more recent installments and had recently moved to Japan from Paris due to his sister's being accepted to HPA as the Ultimate Lawyer. While in Japan, Tsukune's stories took on a more lighthearted tone opposed to the Edgar Allen Poe theme he had up until then.
My name is Tsukune Yoshida, I'm the Ultimate Short Story Author, my mother's name was Jaune Dubois, my father's name was Hide Yoshida and my sister's name was Rika Yoshida. Yeah, seems like it's all there, besides how I got to be wherever here is. (Said making sure he could remember everything after waking up in a strange place)
I suppose everyone here is an Ultimate, then? It seems odd that two Hope's Peak first years would so happen to show up in the same circumstances as each other without actually being in Hope's Peak, right? (Questioning someone who claimed to also be an Ultimate)

Issei is the "bro" character of the killing game. His talent is Ultimate Kinkshamer, which some scout decided was a legitimate talent for some reason. It's for this reason that Issei doesn't consider his "talent" even worth being Ultimate level, but he is willing to take it as an opportunity to make new friends. Issei wants nothing more than to maintain friendship within the group, and when he has to be serious, he will.
I'm Issei Himejima, and my Ultimate level talent is kinda embarrassing, can I not say? (Polite, yet refined)
I told you, I don't want to talk about my talent, it's worthless! I don't even deserve to be here! (Angered, but not quite yelling)
Their death was unavoidable, something like this had to happen for the plot to move forward, otherwise the audience wouldn't watch. They could have been killed by somebody that the mastermind planted. (Analytical and to the point)
Yuchi takes the roll of the "Chirio" type of super shy character. Yuchi is the shota boy and most confuse him for being an actual child rather than the 17 year old that he is in reality. Yuchi also has a rather out there kink that, depending if the person I cast is up for it I can leave to the imagination (until a certain point in the story) rather than be spoken by the va themself.
I- I'm Yuchi Toujou, the Ultimate Climatologist. I like the cold and the heat, b-but that's probably obvious, *nervous laughter.* (Embarrassed, attempting not to mess up anything, like a person talking to any celebrity for the first time)
N-No, it's okay. Like I said, I like being in the heat and the cold. The jacket doesn't bother me in any temperature, actually! (Embarrassed and excited when talking about the temperatures)
Overwatch, I've never played it sorry... R-really like Mei? But I promise I'm no devil! *small, relaxed laugh* (Trying to break the ice, like in an FTE)
Nagasumi is the leader of the group, saying he wants to help the group into the battle against the mastermind as soon as possible. As the Ultimate Forensic Analyst he at one point thinks he could be targeted by a killer since it's his specialty to solve crimes, but that calms after a chat with a few people.
Howdy, I'm Nagasumi. I may look like a snob, but I'm just a Forensic Analyst, and this is just my uniform. (Casual and sincere)
I'm in my element here, it's almost unfair, right Tsukune? (Joking around)
I've been thinking, if ever I was to die, I fear that everyone here might not be able to keep themselves alive during the trial. (Grim tone, almost depressed sounding)
Raku is a nervous wreck, everything sets him off ever since some past trauma. Even in familiar surroundings he is just a slightly tamer version of the Raku we meet in the begining.
WHA! Sorry, R-Raku Tanachi, Ultimate Astronomer, please just keep away from me, I don't want to hit someone by accident. (Loud in the beginning, but as he introduces himself, he calms down)
AAAAAH! DON'T SNEAK UP ON ME LIKE THAT! *deep breathing* C-Come on man... (Fearful, then disheartened at the end)
I wish I could see the stars from my room, it's a shame that I'd have to sleep outside to even see more than three stars... (softly, lost in thought)
Hacker mcDankmeme Kodaka Edomae is kind of the guy who doesn't take things all to seriously. He is optimistic that way, but most people think it's used to give himself a false bravado, or to trick himself into thinking he is okay with the situation.
Sheesh, what's with all the hiding? Anyway, the name's Kodaka Edomae, I know everything about everyone as the Ultimate Hacker. (Softly as if talking into an out of sight camera in the beginning, friendly and upbeat afterwards)
Secrets secrets are no fun unless you share with everyone. *starts laughing (As if repeating what a teacher told him)
I work for the government as a hacker. Oh yeah, I'm also a compulsive liar. Don't know why, character development, I guess. (Casual and then said as if bored)
Minato is an excitable almost male!Iruma. He uses slang often and has a bit of a mouth on him. Minato ends up taking an Iruma-ish roll as he is valuable, but not often.
Yo, what's up, I'm Minato Hiiragi, the Ultimate Rocker! Pretty bangin' talent, right? (Excited, like if Akane and Ibuki mixed)
What's the fuckin' deal, man?! Fuck we ever to do you? (Angered)
Look, boss baby, I ain't no fuckin' pyro that just looked cool, alright? Even if I was a pyro, I'm not lookin' for no Captain Cold. (Condescending and overly prideful)
Taro is the buff boi of the group, and is a gentle giant. While not listed here, he can loose his temper, but that rarely happens.
I am Deacon Kokonoe, but you may call me Taro. I am, of course, the Ultimate Priest. (Calmly and polite)
I don't take kindly to your jokes, but I understand that they are just that, jokes. I forgive you, my brother. (Speaking with an almost fatherly tone)
It's my dream to one day be the Pope, but I highly doubt that would ever happen, and I know it won't happen for at least another two years. (Joking)
Ayumu takes the 2nd lead female roll in the story, like Aoi. In the first chapter, Ayumu dresses as a boy and makes an attempt to fool her classmates, but she isn't all too convincing.
Hiya, you may know me, or at least my voice, I'm Ayumu Yuuki, the Ultimate Voice Actor, nice to meet'cha! (Said with excitement)
Hmph, I'm not all too happy with you right now! (Said with an almost theatrical friend fight voice. Slight anger tones, but nothing like a yell. Like puffy face Chiaki)
Wha- What? Y- You knew? And you didn't say anything? I thought I was convincing... (Embarrassed and flustered in the beginning, more like a sad or disheartened at the end)
Tohru is the female lead of the story. She is calm and collected but often appears as if she isn't totally aware of what's going on. This isn't true, but it's a facade that she puts on to attempt lightening the mood a little.
Oh, hiya! I'm Tohru Sumiregawa, Ultimate Sniper! But, not like in war or anything, just competitive shooting! (Almost like a pop star introducing themself to an interviewer, then reassuring)
Hey, that isn't cool! You should at least attempt to be friendly! (Annoyed)
So wait, I happen to be in a life or death situation with a bunch of my classmates that just so happen to me some of the most famous people in the world. Eh, normal Monday. (Genuine, then joking)
I'm Yuki Onodera, the Ultimate TV Reporter. I'm pretty famous, just ask one of the guys, they recognized me in an instant. (Said with a sharp tongue after someone said they didn't recognize her)
It's love. They're in love. They are in a healthy gay relationship and you can't do anything about it. (Said sounding like she's trying to one up someone with facts that don't exist)

Yomiko is the kind of "girl next door" character. She's friendly and nice and wants to help everyone. She is just somebody who happened to be good at radiology, but would probably make for a good nanny and a good mother.
Hey, I'm Yomiko, the Ultimate Radiologist. I don't know exactly what brought me to liking radiology, I was just kinda drawn to it. (Said in a friendly manner)
It's alright, I'm here for you, no need to be scared. It's just another guy, calm down alright? (Said in a reassuring tone as if a therapist calming a fearful patient)
Hey, I could use your help with something. Would you mind helping me plan a party, he could use more social interaction and only ever goes to breakfast when I force him. (Seeking help from someone she trusts, caring, motherly tone)
Nenene is the Ultimate swap character without a lie about her talent. She has 2 talents worthy of being Ultimate level but due to there already being an Ultimate Chemist in the school, Nenene was scouted as the Ultimate Hair Dresser. She's very casual with everyone, though, as if she was just constantly imagining herself at the beach letting the salty air hit her face and feeling the waves crash against her legs.
How are you doing, I'm Nenene Aikawa, the Ultimate Hair Dresser. (Very casual, like a hair stylist with a customer)
My Ultimate talent is Hair Dresser, yes, but that's not something I see myself doing. I want to be a chemist, like my father was before the accident. I'm probably even a better chemist than hair dresser, but there was already an Ultimate Chemist so the scouter just used my other talent as my Ultimate level talent. (Once again, very casual and friendly)
So, tell me, why do you keep your hair so messy? Don't get me wrong, it looks good on you, but why not wear it down from time to time? (Said as if questioning a newfound friend)
Kayo is the totally relaxed character. She believes that life's true meaning is feeling alive rather than making any sort of impacting mark on the world. She just wants to enjoy her life and live out the things that make her feel alive. She'd totally dare Yuchi to go skydiving.
Yo, I'm Kayo Sugata, the Ultimate Oncologist. Life is way too short to be living hiding in your bedroom playin' games, ya get me? (Said almost too casually for someone with a presumed PhD)
I think that life should be filled with exciting moments, not just day in and day out the daily grind. (Speaking as if a city surfer-girl)
I only feel alive when something big is gonna happen, be it good or bad, that's all I really crave in life. (Said as if musing a daydream at a school cafeteria)
Nami is a psychotic, controlling, antagonistic bitch of a character, but she also remains one of the more popular characters. Nami loves antagonizing the group and getting Akeno to do things for her like Celeste in a way.

Hm, I can't fathom why anyone would ever want to kill just to kill, then again I don't work with psychos. (Said questioning why monokuma only offered a place for people who want to kill an opportunity to)
*gimme your best psychopath laugh* Please, as if the killer would make it that obvious, come on, I thought you were supposed to be smarter than that deputy. (Said mocking Tsukune for making a mistake)
Akeno is basically a zombie. She has a mental disease called Cotard's Syndrome which makes her think she is a literal emotionless, walking corpse. Akeno goes out of her way to avoid most characters, but she's always there at breakfast reading something from the library.
