Project Overview
Welcome to Danganronpa : DESPAIR’S SYMPHONY!
It’s me that’s right! Our dear students need voices! Although the Script is badly written by one person, she can’t do all the voices herself! Please feel free to audition for as many characters as you like!
With the theme Love / Hatred , I can promise you that the deaths will hurt much much more! Mainly because the death count is higher than ever but we don’t talk about that....
This project will be a podcast as the creator has no resources or time to make it a full on video fangan or a game.... however if you can do sprites then feel free to contact me so that our beloved victims can have a face to their voice!
Please note that I’m not too familiar with this site and some roles state that both male and female. But in the description the pronouns used will determine the gender of the character.

-Thank you voice actors! Some roles have been casted but there are still many more to be filled! After all, this is a danagnronpa!

- The roles are updated with a few more voice lines to get more of a feel of the characters!

Kotone Aisaka is the Ultimate Matchmaker... But she would rather be addressed as the Ultimate Cupid! Kotone, or rather Koiyumi Aimoto her stage name, is a cheerful character who likes to tease others. She also is the host of a popular matchmaking show which is what brought her the title.... But in a killing game where the theme is Love vs Hatred how will our dear Matchmaker Survive?

Kotone is a high pitched and exciteable character who may sound love sick at times. She’s a brat basically.

Kaname Ayumu... well we don’t even know what her talent even is! (Except for me because I’m her god.) Kaname our local enigma seems like an unimportant Character in the grand scheme of things and her personality it’s not too great either so she doenst really have much going for her! Always judging people by their usefulness to her, she seems the most likely candidate for the mastermind is she not? We will see!

Kaname talks in a mid to deeper voice for a female, she seems stotic often and cares little to none for the other students trapped in here. She thinks to herslef a lot too.

Juro Shriaki is the Ultimate Televison Personality! Due to his nature he talks way too much for his own good. However when he realises he said something he’s not supposed to he bursts into tears. PTSD? Who knows. But his weird fear of soap is rather strange don’t you think?
Creators notes :
Juro is a high to medium pitch character who cries the most in the series. He talks way too much but since we know he is a baby he probably won’t last Long so take that as you will :) However Juro is an entertainer so you need to sound dynamic.
Oh wow! Are you sure Kotone? My manager would never let me do a thing like that! She would totally scold me for acting up! I wish he was here too... Ah oh well! At least she’s not here! How exciting! This is going to be so fun! I can’t wait!

Umi Uozumi is the Ultimate Professional Mermaid! Someone who holds herself in high regard only to lash out when something minor upsets her. She can’t seem to decide whether she shouldn’t hold her formal image or not and is rather petty. She holds Unity as a high regard. However, something may lie amiss in the society of mermaids....
Creator notes : Umi is a deeper pitched female chacater however she tends to go into a higher pitch when she’s upset. She also gives nicknames to the others to make them seem more umited

Shizuru Inukai is the Ultimate Dog Sled Racer! Always tired and always sleeping, he’s constantly in a bad mood whenever someone wakes him up. He isn’t bothered by the fact that they’re in a killing game and requires the first execution to happen for him to realise the serverity of the situation. He also seems to only care for his pack.... However Shizuru might just warm up to a certain someone during the course of the Killing game.....

Shizuru is a Low pitched Character who sounds groggy and annoyed most of the time. He’s rather lazy and unmotivated at least in the first chapter. He is also afraid of the weirdest things.

Attention! Eiichirou Tsukino is the Ultimate Police Officer! But don’t take her talent too seriously, she’s rather laid back and not to big brained. Eiichirou however makes up for her lack of intelligence with bravery! Always wanting to stand up to Monomao as much as the rival! Although her name is rather masculine, she seems unaffected by it. But could it maybe be she has a inner need to feel more feminine in a house full of brothers she needs to protect?

Eiichirou is a loud and energetic character with a high to medium pitch. She addresses others by Mr/Miss and their last name as she feels it’s more formal. She also enjoys video games but aspires to be the most cancer player possible.

Hey! I know Eiichirou is a masculine name! But I’m alright! Plus it makes me sound really brave! However it does get slightly annoying when people assume I’m a guy... and when they get let down when the Ultimate Police Officer is actually Female.... but it’s ok! I’ll just have to prove to them I’m brave!
Mizuchi Samejima is the Ultimate Loan Shark! Shocking right? Despite her short frame, her love for Lolita fashion and her high pitched voice, Mizuchi is actually a much bigger threat then she seems. But where are her body Guards? How did someone manage to capture an important figure like her?

Mizuchi talks in a Loli voice. She tries to seem threatening but She really isn’t, giving her a need to be villainous to be a better leader.

Min Daehyun is the Ultimate Knight! A foreign exchange student, he seems to have come here in search of someone..... Due to Husband talent, he seems to be much better in fighting than social interaction making him to most awkward person. Although Daehyun may seem distant, he closed his heart to emotions many years ago, a certain someone might cause him to break out of the rock her closed himself in.....

Daehyun is a Low pitched character. He seems like the bad boy mysterious type but really he has no idea what is going on. Like at all. God he’s so stupid I love him. What an edge lord am I right?

Masuhiko Shio, or Shio as he prefers to be called, is the Ultimate Handball Player/ Athlete! You thought one Asshole was enough? Too bad! Shio is rather cocky and addresses himself as King. But who knows... maybe there’s a specific reason why he wants to be called king? Anyway he gets roped into Kotones shenanigans and has to constantly keep her out of trouble even though she disrespects him on a hourly basis.

Shio is cocky and talks in a medium to Low pitch. However he DOES NOT SWEAR. He also seems to be extremely annoyed at anyone who calls him by his first name and the only person he would back down for is Serin.

Miyako Kuroshio is the Ultimate Parpsycologist ! However Kotone seems to have a hatred for her, looking down on her and calling her a dirty grim reaper. Does Kotone have a reason for this? Miyako always sounds sad and depressed, appoligising and sighing a lot, causing Kotone to call her a ‘Walmart Mikan’

Miyako always sounds sad. Like she’s depressed, However she’s always panics and stutters when her “curse” is brought up.

Shouto Aozora is the Ultimate Areonautical engineer with big dreams to build his own plane company from scratch! Always bored when not tinkering with something, Shouto is only motivated by his dreams or his work and nothing else. How would he react when Monomao traps him away from his dreams? He could just work on the project with whatever he has now but his time is ticking.....

Shouto often sounds bored and unmotivated. However when the topic of dreams or his talent is brought up, he sounds as excited as Juro.

Kazuto Yataka is the Ultimate Kleptomaniac! You may be asking, isn’t kelptomania a mental disorder? Don’t need to worry, it ties in with the plot. He talks in a classy fashion which might link back to a possible higher class up bringing.....

Kazuto talks in a high class fashion like a gentleman. He copes with harsh situations by making jokes but not everyone will take that too well.

Tatsuo ZHAng is the Ultimate Lion Dancer! Half Chinese, half Japanese, Tatsuo took up lion dance to make his chinese Mother happy after she was stuck in Japan due to spoilery reasons. He seems to be angry at the world and swears the most out of everyone. One may describe him as an irritated cat. His height and his reactions make him Kotone’s prime target for teasing as he flares up every single time. Perhaps there is someone here who could cool the flames down....
