Danganronpa: Consequential desires
Project Overview
Much like every Danganronpa/fangan out there, be prepared to see blood and violence.
Danganronpa: Consequential Desires, is a youtube series based on the series 'Danganronpa' made to feel like and play out like the Danganronpa games. It will feature a cast of 16 new characters as they try to survive the killing game ahead of them. This project, like a good few will be worked on through Discord but everything will be uploaded to youtube.
Requirements:
As I've posted in the Discord server, there are a few requirements but for those not in it, I'll post here
1. Discord is required, as it's the easiest way for everyone working on the project to communicate with each other.
2. A mic with good audio is required, nothing too fancy shmancy but have something with good quality.

The ultimate hunter, Ryoma has been hunting since he was five with his uncle and cousin. Free spirited and open-minded, Ryoma tends to act like a leader though he claims he isn't fit for a leader like title, he has strong respect for the ultimates around him and will believe in anyone and their wording which has led him to being tricked sometimes, though he shakes it off as he believes everyone deserves a second chance. He tries his best in everything he does for acceptance rather than trust. Ryoma, furthermore is very open about himself and will tell tales of his time hunting with his family in the forests, which has led him to be seen as one of the friendliest students in the rehabilitation course.
Ryoma acts friendly as mentioned and will be more gentle, though when he's serious he sounds very monotone and will try and act as brave as possible.
Voice actors should be able to pull off his friendly side and serious side and should be in the mid-low range.
[Sincere/calm] "I'm sure we'll find a way out, like a deer trapped in a cage."
[Panicking] "There's no way we'll play this game, right?"
[Friendly] "C'mon, we'll look around together if you're that nervous."
For someone who doesn't remember anything about herself, Enigma is rather positive and will try to support the others although she comes off as suspicious because she remembers nothing about herself which has led to her doubting herself on whether she can really be trusted though a few like Ryoma, Maeko and Hikari try to support her. She's always open to conversation and seems to dislike Kumakuma most out of everyone. She tends to get mad when others call her short which Saki, Apollo and Namekemono take advantage of. She chose the name Enigma herself and is quite proud of it as she states it's exciting being mysterious and that she will one day remember who she truly is. She claims that Ryoma and everyone else seems familiar to her for someone reason but she can't put her finger on it yet that doesn't stop her from trying to get along with everyone, in fact it encourages her to try and earn their trust more. Her reflexes and perceptiveness is high as she's able to catch onto when a student is bull-shitting quickly but she often won't point it out as she believes everyone is just trying to have fun.
Voice actors should be cheery most of the time but should also be able to pull off a passive aggressive tone as well. Her voice is in the high-pitch section most of the time
[Energetic] "I'm a real-life walking talking mystery! Figure me out....And nothing will happen!"
[Passive-Aggressive] "I'm not short, I'm taller than most middle-schoolers!"
[Disbelief] "What if I don't have a talent at all...? Will I be of any use to you guys?"
Apollo is known as the Ultimate Detective for his quick deductions and logic although he drives away from detective stereotypes. Dark and mysterious at times, Apollo is one to speak what's on his mind no matter the situation, he can be rather sarcastic which confuses his classmates as they barely have any idea what goes on inside his head though he claims it's the mind of a shattered world. Apollo states he once worked with as an info broker for the underworld and his information collecting helps his statement hold water although the others don't believe it. Apollo doesn't speak about himself much which has sparked some ideas within the classmates that he doesn't trust the others at all which has led to a few people trying to convince him to open up about himself. Apollo is a massive theorist and his theories can vary from being far-fetched to being really serious that you wouldn't hope it to be the case, his theories when he is serious is accurate 90% of the time.
Voice actors should try to sound mysterious while being playful, as well as being sarcastic. Getting his sarcastic laugh and tone is essential while being mysterious as well.
[Playful] "But, but! We could use you as the sacrifice, Ms Suspicious!"
[Sarcastic] "What do you meeeaan, aren't you the one who said we present evidence? That's what I'm doing and I feel like you're throwing me over your shoulder like I'm trash. Ah-haha, that's preeeetty rude."
[Mocking] "Well, even if you were to figure it out. It's not like you'd stay alive long enough to put your plan into motion."
The Ultimate Prince is like a few fairy-tale princes but he claims he'd rather take the style of an old prince from nevermore, charming and charismatic, he's able to convince the others to do as he pleases, though he ends up doing the work himself to prove useful as he mentions that people had to help him back in the castle. He gives off the big brother vibe for his caring nature and others respect him for it although ends up causing a few mistakes from time to time, he'll make sure to fix what he did wrong with a cheerful attitude. A true heir to the throne for his supportive behaviour and a soon to be prosperous king..
Voice actors should be pretty high pitch but must pull off an alright stutter while sounding soothing still.
[Scared] "W-We can't...play this...my kingdom n-needs me...!
[Enthusiastic] "You can do better, to survive, manners are essential
[Reassuring] "I'll do my best to guide you all...Not as subjects, but as friends.
The Ultimate Royal Marine is strong and reliable, though he blurts out the strangest of things and his actions are confusing he's an overall nice person who wants everyone to be safe. Jokes are a part of his trade and he'll try and make the situation better with them which ends up working most of the time. He knows a lot about history and believes those who research make it in life. He's one of the few who are committed to ending the game from the start which makes him a reliable person to the other students eyes. He's friendly with everyone, including Apollo and can tolerate his odd behaviour
Voice actors must sound relaxed and calm mostly through out with a mid-low tone but be prepared to go highpitch when he screams
[Friendly] "Lighten up, we'll grab a smoothie and it'll all be fine."
[Loud] "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, THE CALL OF SURVIVAL!!!"
[Monotone] "If you believe that to be the case, go ahead, believe it...But this killing game is as good as over."
Shoya is a cold, harsh person who cares about other people rather than himself, despite his harshness. He follows a schedule which he has written down in a journal in his hat and becomes frustrated when it isn't followed to completion. Not a big fan of magic, Shoya says he doesn't enjoy magic much and would rather become an agent of justice. Â A perfectionist to the very end, Shoya strives for the truth and won't tolerate silliness or any misguiding 's. He'll offer his support when he sees his classmates struggling and that has given him a bit of trust. At moments though, Shoya has been known to do a complete 180 in his mood whether that be sad or excited and that alone seems way too over dramatic. His hat on the other hand somehow speaks though Shoya refuses to reveal his secrets on how it works the two make an unlikely duo with the hat being more friendly than the wearer.
This voice needs to sound unamused, though mid-low pitch, they also need to generally sound disinterested although when he does a mood swing, one must sound really excited.Â
[Disinterested] "Well, you may not believe me...But I'm not interested in this game..."
[Excited/semi-loud] "WAIT! YOU REALLY MEAN YOU'VE MET THE GREAT MAGNIFINI!?"
[Annoyed] "Well, Apollo Mayakashi. Thanks to you, my schedule is ruined...."
Howard is an oddball, for a talking hat that's to be expected but he is a rather positive hat per say. More positive than the wearer Shoya who always gets into arguments with said hat. The hat blurts out whatever he thinks and as a hat, his thoughts are of course unpredictable, goofy at times, Howard is good at heart but is known for being rather stupid with what he says. Making a bunch of mistakes in his line of logic much like a kid on their first day at school
Howard needs to sound kid-like and goofy, a high-pitch voice is good but he can also be low pitch.
[Ambitious] "The great mighty hat, no one can speak him down, he shall achieve greatness!"
[Apologetic] "Sorry, sorry, soooorry, I didn't mean to offend you."
[Tired] "Shoyaaa, lemme rest. You gotta let me rest, you just got to!"
Reo Itsuki, the ultimate toxicologist is a quiet reserved boy who doesn't seem to care much about the situation. He spends most of his time alone. Though he doesn't intend on making friends he offers his knowledge and support as toxicology isn't his only strong suit, it's a hobby as he states it to be. Calm and quiet at the worst of times people have questioned whether he really does experience emotions and when Reo doesn't want to talk, his puppet, Astrix does the speaking for him. Reo claims he's been studying toxicology since he was 6 but he doesn't talk about himself often due to his quiet nature and another reason which he's hesitant on speaking about. When he finds an inconsistency in someone's wording or theory he won't hesitate to butt in and prove them wrong for which he claims is the sake of helping everyone trust each other.
The voice actor should be quiet and calm, well reserved while sounding monotone, the puppet, Astrix is pretty cheerful and Joyful, being Reo's more optimistic mouthpiece
[Quiet] "I'm not much of a speaker....My puppet Astrix is a better speaker than me..."
[Calm] "This is unexpected, but...We can't freak out..."
Astrix[Joyful] "Big bro is rather talented, you know. He's just shy is all!"
The ultimate Gardener was bought up in a harsh lifestyle where her parents  were always out and about, forgetting her, so to distract herself from her loneliness she started gardening. It was pretty well known even up to the point where neighbours started to help around and she appreciated every part of it. To this day, she's an upbeat and cheery girl who tries to be the supporting character and her optimism sometimes goes for granted, though she's ready and willing to support any and all living things, such as plants, animals and people. Hikari doesn't look like a gardener because of her lab coat and she claims it's due to also studying plants, flowers and herbs, trying to create remedies and will often get lost in her own world when talking about such things or even coming across a plant or weed. She's worked on creating remedies in the past and that has led to her trying to work alongside Reo with his knowledge on toxicology.
The voice actor will have a playful attitude though they must be prepared to speak quietly at a moments notice
[Upset] "Please, stop fighting! Nothing good will come!"
[Flustered] "N-No...! I've..just never h-had someone...compliment me..."
[Optimistic] "Someone will come for us, just hang in there!"
Hana, being the Ultimate Podcaster has always been a loud girl, and with her positive vibes online has attracted many followers on her daily podcast 5pm EST some even seeing her as a leader which she accepts with her pride. She holds respect for lower rated podcast hosts though she'll boast from time to time about them not being able to top her. She loves to tell her classmates about the trending topics on social media and vows to find out what everyone thinks about certain topics, and is an all around chatty person who never seems to shut up. As well as being easily excitable, Hana tends to make inuendos and can make a conversation awkward in a matter of seconds suggesting she'll dominate anyone who dares speak her down
Hana may be pretty excited though she sounds pretty laid-back and calm, kinda high-pitch
[Egotistical] "I know, I know. The great Fujimoto in the flesh. Praise me all you want, I might shout you out."
[Angry] "You think you're getting away with this!? I have followers who would follow me to the end of the earth, they'll find me!"
[Pissed off] "HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME OF KIDNAPPING US! I'D ONLY DO IT IF IT WAS A PUBLICITY STUNT!!"
Namakemono has been designing and scripting games at a young age, and is an open minded person though foolish, he has a heart of an idiot which has led him not to being the brightest person and can sometimes lead to outbursts of anger. As much of an idiot as he is, he's a massive perv who's always trying to get the girls attentions although it never works out, he doesn't enjoy hanging with men as much but he'll sometimes appear for small talk about the boys opinions on the girls and gets a good laugh out of it. He wears a TV head, and won't state why, as he wants to give the girls suspense on what their "Future prince" would look like. He also enjoys mocking the other boys for their so called "impurity" and can be seen in heated arguments with a few of them, he'll do anything to get on their nerve just being a pain to everyone in general, leaving him ignored once people get to know who he truly is
Natae has a mid-low pitch tone and sounds pretty gentlemanly, he can be calm but burst into anger and the voice actor should be able to shout
[Creepy] "So, how about me and you go and take a walk in the gym~?"
[Proud] "I'm a very successful games designer. You impure dick swinging fools hold no ground against me."
[Shocked} "NO WAY! YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS, RIGHT!? PLEASE TELL ME YOU AREN'T SERIOUS!"
A loud and rude banker who only cares about wealth, Takashi is uncooperative with his classmates and will often try and boss them around, if they try to boss him back, he might violently lash out. He believes himself to be above everyone else which has led him to receiving some disloyalty from his classmates as he only ever cooperates if it benefits him mostly. He has been seen to have a soft spot for those he believes deserve his respect such as the Ultimate Prince and Ultimate Royal Marine. Though other than that, he stays true to his spiteful attitude and will always try to stay away from those he don't respect. Takashi is an international banker, meaning he's worked abroad in countries such as England, Italy and the US, Â ect, because of that, his cultural knowledge exceeds even the more knowledgeable students and that he seems quite proud of, lecturing students on such cultures.
The voice actor has to sound rough and pretty highpitch and must be ready to shout. When shouting, Osamu will go lowpitch
[Mocking] "And it was you who fucked us over."
[Annoyed] "Stop playing the fucking victim card, you're still alive, they're not. So you can hardly call yourself a victim."
[Persistent] "I'm right, that's all there fucking is to it, you shit head. Go and crawl back to that dingy ass prison cell of yours and die alone. No one will miss you, no one will fucking care!"
Quiet and lazy, Ocha doesn't interact much as she's often in her own little world called sleep, because of that she isn't relied upon much as she makes mistakes from not listening most of the time. She always has time to have a hot beverage and will even sometimes surprise her classmates by making one for them without offering. She knows a lot about hot beverages and that's the only thing she seems interested in plus the mass amount of dad jokes she seems to make even at the worst of times. An overall lazy person who tries her best to make people laugh with her dad jokes though it sometimes sparks the wrong reaction, Ocha does try her best to be supportive although it mainly goes unnoticed. As well as the dad jokes, puns also come from this small barista, which can annoy those who can't put up with them but they still walk away with a small chuckle.
Someone who has a semi-high pitch voice but acts really tired, they also must be ready to crack a lot of dad jokes
[Motivating] "You can do it....Just...do it..."
[Bored to dad jokes] "Mugs...? Last one I heard of...got mugged..."
[Tired] "Sorry....I wasn't listening...I was...not sleeping...but I was thinking...with my eyes closed..."
Fumiko is the Ultimate Author, at an age of 7 she started writing small novels to please her family and from there on she spent most of her time writing short stories which eventually grew on to be long term novels with famous best-sellers like 'Larry Jotter and the ancient block' and 'The Ring Lords.' She can be harsh and scolding to those who annoy her but she always loves to tell others about her fantasy worlds even writing short novels for the students in the school. She doesn't get along well with Namakemono for his hatred of books and tries to get him to see how wonderful books can be
The voice actor should sound much like a big sister, calm and soothing, mid-high pitch though they must be ready to sound much like a teacher when scolding
[Stern] "We can't worry about it now, we just have to face the facts!"
[Confused] "I can't believe it...You don't like books!?"
[Normal] "Books are my passion, maybe you would like to sit and read with me?
Weak and timid, Mitsuki has been questioned whether she really is the ultimate sniper although she attempts to reassure those who don't believe her that she is the ultimate sniper. She can hit her target with precise accuracy and when she's holding her sniper that's the only time she seems calm. Most of the time, Mitsuki is seen as an unstable emotional wreck sometimes but tries to pull a brave face so the others needn't worry about her which usually results in her, bottling how she truly feels. At times, she can be sharp minded but that usually crumbles to pieces as soon as she's proven wrong due to her inferiority complex.
Mitsuki is shy sounding and tends to stutter a lot, she's pretty high-pitch but is rather quiet
[Defeated] "I-I can't...do this...I'm r-really sorry..."
[Attempting to explain] "T-That...c-can't be...it...the ballistic markings...T-They don't match..."
[Scared] "P-Please stop...! T-They've been through...enough a-already...!"
The Ultimate Lawyer received her title by defending a client who had no evidence to back him up and almost had the guilty charge. A girl who relies on logic and evidence over opinions, she can snap and become mad easily if someone were to disagree with her which makes her seem scary although she becomes apologetic if she does scare someone.Even though she seems scary, Maeko is really caring of those around her and will try and suggest plenty of ideas to distract those from the killing game. Â She works on trying to motivate the others into finding the truth and having faith in others. Her logic can turn trials around in her favour if she believes something not to work which some can mention is similar to another lawyer. Although Maeko is a lawyer, she's a massive fan of oculists and ghosts, horror stories, you get the idea; and being born into a family who works at a shrine, she enjoys telling them stories about yokai and demons, scaring them and ending up with her being scolded.
The voice actor must sound soothing and gentle though must be able to shout loudly while sounding frustrated
[Loud] "OBJECTION! Your claim is invalid unless you have evidence to back it up!"Â
[Reassuring] "I'll believe in you till the bitter end."
[Joyful] "A party sounds like a great way to calm everyone down!"
Jester goes by the name Jester by his refusal to give his proper name, a barely serious person who acts goofy and silly though his ambitions are far from it. He tells tales which are far-fetched and always hides his real face behind his mask and that makes it hard for his classmates to tell his emotions. He doesn't care about the killing game and focuses on his job which is to entertain. A true Jester to the end, he speaks lowly of himself and states he only lives to entertain others, he's overly dramatic and will constantly cause a ruckus for the studentsÂ
A high-pitch creepy/playful tone, though one must be able to go low pitch to imitate KumaKuma in a mocking tone
[Playful] "My, my, what a mess we have made...Ah-hahahahahahaha!! We were already messes to begin with, silly me."
[Pretending to be humble] "Trash such as myself belongs in the incinerator, but if you want to listen to my tales of serving a humble king as the court jester....Do take a seat, I would looooove your company!"
["Worried"] "NowayNowayNowayNowayNoway! I could never harm a fly, pffffffft! Ah-hahahahahahahaha!! I'm kidding, I'm kidding."
KumaKuma is the mascot of this here killing game although he introduces himself in a friendly tone, taking the role of the headmaster and promises to see the students through to a full rehabilitation course. Although his ulterior motives are unknown and the one controlling him, also unknown. He becomes the rule enforcer and ensures that nothing falls astray. As mischievous as this bear is, he always has time to crack a bear pun, or two though he is the prime source of hate in this very trip.
KumaKuma is the main antagonist so do expect him to be around for a good while
A really lowpitch voice for this bear, nothing sounding like monokuma
[Gentlemanly] "That's right, you're in beary capable hands!"
[Angry] "You can't break the rules! I'll see you in bear court!"
[Calm] "Positive? That's new."
