Danganronpa: The Way Out
Project Overview
Danganronpa: The Way Out Is a visual novel fan game of Spike chunsoft's Danganronpa series. The game takes place in a abandoned cabin themed hotel deep in the woods. When a colorful cast of 16 students suddenly wake up in this hotel, not remembering a thing, they are suddenly told they are in a killing game. And they must kill each other and have class trials until only one student remains.
The plot does not connect to the original Danganronpa games but does use some themes of it.
We are looking for artists, animators and voice actors. The game will be fully coded in Renpy and will have fully functional game play similar to the original Danganronpa series. Including all trial minigames, FTE's, Investigations, and menu functions.
Me and my team are working hard and already have the full plot planned out. All we need is help to bring it to life!

Ultimate model
He is very upbeat, optimistic and loves to cause trouble. He will never wipe the smirk off his face, no matter what situation hes in. Him and his sister Hikan enjoy being around each other, and when they combine their talents they create an amazing duo! He loves his sister dearly, and if anything ever happened to her he may loose his mind.
He talks very jokingly and playful, with a bit of a high range voice.
(playful and sarcastic)Huuuuh? meeee? Im Raku Desdemona! The ultimate modeeeeeel! I hope we can get along, otherwise I may have to kill you!

Hikan Desdemona (He-kahn-dez-de-moan-ah)

Hikan is very emotionless, and always sad and pessimistic. Her voice is very monotone and low. She doesn't show very much emotion but if shes angry she will make sure to let you know. She tends to abuse her little brother and take advantage of how much he loves her without eve realizing it. But in reality she hates him.
(emotionless) Oh.... well not that you need to know but... i'm Hikan Desdemona.. ultimate fashion creator... just don't make me angry.
(Emontionless)But I don't wanna smile... it hurts my jaw.
(Almost angry but... not quite)Huh... I didn't ask... go away before I tear your eyeballs out with my fingernail.
Rana Kutsu (Rah-na-koo-sue)
Ultimate runner
Rana is the games protagonist. She is normally very upbeat and energetic, but likes to be sarcastic aswell. She wont tolerate anyone trying to tell her what to do, she walks her own path.
(intense)NO! THAT'S WRONG!
(confused but upbeat)My name is Rana Kutsu! i'm the ultimate runner... and I guess its safe to say i'm the protagonist of this crazy story.
(Upset)Whats right and whats wrong is not something we should decide ourselves! What matters now is that we all get out of here and survive together!
Seikan Seiji (say-kahn-sigh-gee)

Seikan has a unusually deep voice, and is 4'3. He seems all strong on the outside, but is actually a big coward who is scared at anything. He can be angered easily, and is very easy to manipulate.

Futoi talks in a (no offense) gay sounding voice. He is not ashamed of his body and is proud to be fat.

Ultimate florist
Sumei talks in a timid yet creepy tone, if she is scared she goes a bit crazy. She has been blind for 4 years now. Sumei trys her best to be helpful and not burden others, but despite her efforts she only ever comes off as creepy. She also has a deeper and more scratchy voice.
(Creepy) My name is... Sumei Hana... I am the ultimate florist. Please allow to indulge in your greatness for just a while.

Noko is very confident in her strength and likes to brag about her talent. She has a deeper but emotion filled voice. She rarely is seen mad.
(confident) Do I gotta beat your ass to make you understand me?

Yubi Butsu (yoo-bee-boot-sue)

Yubi is very stern, and likes to make semi perverted jokes. But she is always reliable and helps the best she can. She isnt proud of her talent and wishes it was cooler, so she admires those with cooler talents than her. Her voice is semi-higher pitch

Draco is always... high. He sees things that arent really there alot. He is delusional and thinks he holds a mighty power, but on the inside he knows whats happening and trys to help out. He talks with medium scratchy voice.

She looks and acts all cutesy, but when you hear her voice, it’s like being dunked into a pit of spikes. Onaku is dummy stupid, a little naive, but ultimately wants the best for everyone.

Mysterious, average, a forgettably hot face, and a mighty ahoge. Shunji is self-confident, lazy to an acceptable degree, quiet, and very intelligent. Talks in a sarcastic yet calm tone
(normal)Me? Well, I am Shunji Shinpi... as for my talent, its something even someone as smart as me forgot.

Kozue Iwasaki (Koe-zoo-iwa-saki)
Ultimate software engineer.
They are the antagonist but with a good reason. they talk with a androgynous voice.
(Annoyed) What do you want? introductions? ...Im Kozue Iwasaki, happy now?
(Happy) Oh really? someone finally died? God finally something fun!
(angry) Yo shut the fuck up while the smart ones are talking, ight?
This guy has a deep and rich voice, perhaps gravely at times. His voice should sound like a middle aged male and not like a teenager’s. Should be capable of sounding happy and content, but occasionally will sound more unsure, or angry, or even cruel at times. It would be appreciated if the VA could have a lot of bass.
“Ah, my name? I go by [REDACTED]. I’ll be your new boss, from now on!” (Rich and jolly)
“That’s quite alright. Please, do continue your show!” (Patient)
“No one will get hurt, if you follow the rules.” (Happy and foreboding at the same time)

She is a proper person with a poised voice, preferably medium pitched. Hums and giggles quite a lot. Her voice should be kind, smooth, calm, not soft but caring, a bit motherly, flexible, but still confident. Should be capable of laughing in lots of different fashions, from a light, tinkly laugh, to a rougher and forced laugh. Should also be capable of transitioning into a cold and emotionless tone. She can also be quite mischievous at times.
Lines: “If you wished to know my name, you simply should have asked me. I am [REDACTED], and am pleased to make your acquaintance.” [Cheerful]
[Humming] “Mary had a little lamb. . . Little lamb. . . Little lamb. . .”
“Are dinner’s preparations finished? I was looking forward to the show, then.” [Cold, emotionless]
[Laugh in a way you think she would laugh]
A young boy who has a high voice. He doesn’t talk most of the time, as his tongue is missing, so anything he tries to say is hard to decipher. He sticks to making noises most of the time but usually sticks to using action to show what he means. There aren’t many requirements for his voice, as long as he sounds like he’s a child without a tongue, it should be fine.
Try to not use your tongue when recording these lines:
