Project Overview

A fangame made by me! My name is Gray, and this is my fanganronpa. *disney channel intro*

Tekina Gensō, the protagonist, along with 15 other students, have to kill each other in order to escape the dark forest around them. Will they be able to do it without falling into despair? Will hope finally prevail? 

Danganronpa is a visual novel type game by Spike Chunsoft, and the basic premises is that 15 high school students with Ultimate talents are trapped inside Hopes Peak Academy, where they have to kill each other in order to escape. Based off of that, this is basically the same thing but with my own spin, my own ideas and original characters. 

I am looking for Voice Actors mainly, but having people to help out with scripting and editing would be incredible!!!

    Heyo guys! Before I get started I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to those of you that have auditioned so far! You guys all have wonderful voices and I'm so torn ;~;!! Note that even though the Deadline is coming up, you can still submit your auditions afterwards! I'm not gonna start really looking until after then. Now to start with the updates! 1. Nagare has been decided on being female, and Kotsetsu has been decided to be male. For you guys who auditioned, I will still be looking at your auditions, but I wanted to inform you guys of the decision. 2. On the Discord server (which you should totally join) I am looking for mods and people to help out with the plot! 3. I probably will not be picking until July, maybe even August. Tekina Genso is the protagonist of DR13. She is the SHSL Voice Actress, and that's all she can remember. 

Tekina (Teh-key-na) is a very optimistic girl. She comforts those falling into despair to the best of her ability, and depending on the situation, she sometimes isn't very helpful. She understand sign language, and has a range of speaking voices. 

Feel free to try out her talent.  

Tekina would probably sound like Kaede, Ibuki but less loud, or Touko without the stuttering.

Minami Ushi, SHSL Cowgirl, apparently.

Minami and her family moved to Japan when she was 12 or 13. Since she was born in america, she sounds different from the rest, but can still speak decent Japanese. She's very excitable, and tries her hardest to be smart, even when she isn't.

Although I'd prefer her to have a Country accent, you can go with whatever. I feel she'd sound like a Southern Akane or Tenko.

Arata Katsu (Eh-rah-ta Caught-zoo) had originally been picked as the SHSL Luck at Hopes Peak Academy,  but is confused as to why she's involved in this ordeal.

Arata always thinks that she is innocent throughout the whole thing, and gets incredibly defensive as soon as she's accused. She has a short temper, and usually after she snaps at someone her 'luck' comes into play, whether it be good or bad. 

Arata probably would sound like Akane or Mahiru, but you can try it however you'd like.

Kumotto Sora (Coo-mow-toh Sore-ah) is the SHSL Meteorologist

Despite occasionally being very vain, Kumotta is very caring towards her peers. She does her best to help them, although she never realizes how vague her advice can be. She's soft spoken most of the time. 

Kumotto sounds kind of like Kirumi or Maki? but do what you see fits for her i'm down for whatever.

Unmei Himari (Oonh-may He-mar-ee) is the SHSL Violist.

She's very polite and soft spoken, always putting others before herself. Although this can be detrimental, she really does mean well. Unmei wants to get everyone out in the name of hope, and is kind of like Makoto.

I feel she'd sound like a Komaru, Sonia or Sayaka.

Madaraki Raimu (Mod-ah-rah-key Rai-moo), SHSL Surgeon.

He's very serious about his job... Except for the fact that he's like, Hagakure levels of dumb. He's only good at his talent and things that are in the medical industry. He never reads the situation correctly. Madaraki can usually tell what the cause of death is, no matter how complicated.

Although his range is up for interpretation, I think he'd probably sound like Hagakure, Leon, or Souda.

Itsuki Reo (It-sue-key Ree-oh) has the title SHSL Tutor.

Despite being the smartest in the cast, Itsuki is very nice towards Tekina and Kurobotan. He will give random facts or definitions to big words, and is a very important part of the group. Even though he is very intelligent, his 'street skils' are not very good, making it hard for him to communicate with people.

Itsuki, in my mind, has a medium to lower range voice, similar to Rantaro or Ishimaru/Mondo. Doesnt matter tho!

Yawarakai Ai (Yah-wah-rah-ky I) is the SHSL Waltzer.

Kai is sort of stuck up, but gets awkward when talking about the things she likes. She's very intelligent. She doesn't trust very easily, and is bad about holding grudges.

Her voice is probably medium ranged, sounding sorta calm and soft. An example of what I'm looking for could be Kirigiri, or Shirogane but deeper.

Nagare Heiwana (Nah-garr-eh Hey-wanna) is the SHSL Hydrogeologist, otherwise known as the SHSL Bitchface.

GOD They're a bitch. Nagare is incredibly smart, and very stuck up about it. They're super bossy and act like they have a stick up their ass 85% of the time. They're a mix of Byakuya's smarts and Fuyuhiko's attitude if I'm honest with you.

I personally believe that Nagare would sound like Nagisa or Pekoyama but sassy. Auditioner can be male or female, idc.

Kosetsu Niko (Koh-set-sue Nee-koh) is the SHSL Priest.

They follow a god named Shiroi Doku, who although is not well known, is popular enough to have a mini church. Said mini church is where Kosetsu inherited the title of a Priest, and now is the SHSL Priest.

Kotsetsu has a medium to low voice range, most likely on the male side of things. I don't really have an example, so go wild.

The Super Highschool Level Pyrotechnic, Bakudan Hino (Baku-dawn He-no)

Bakudan is hotheaded and kind of a jerk to everyone else except Tekina. He rarely thinks he's wrong, and gets defensive when people try to tell him he's wrong. He's very fiesty and stubborn.

He's probably sound like Kaito or have a medium ranged voice, teetering towards medium-low.

Rajikui Okami (Rah-zchu-key Oh-kah-me), the SHSL Rollerskater. Who knew that could be a talent?

He's very confident in himself, but is pretty nice. He uses outdated 80/90s terms, who knows what time period this is in? He likes retro things like vaporwave. Rajikui is gay, but closeted, so he covers it by complimenting girls.

Rajikui probably sounds like Kazuichi or Leon, but do whatever you want.

Kurobotan Akari (Coo-row-bow-tahn Ah-car-ee) is the SHSL Florist.

Kurobotan, or Kuro, is very soft spoken unless talking about his interests. When excited, he begins to ramble about the things he loves. Kuro constantly gets talked over during class trials, but ignores it and tries to talk anyway. It usually doesn't work.

He would probably sound something like Chihiro or Chiaki, but you can do whatever. His voice is slightly feminine however.

Midori Tomiko (Me-door-e Toe-me-ko) is the SHSL Wizard, or so he claims to be.

Midori is not the smartest in the group, in all honesty. When he's not confused, he's usually bragging about himself or observing the scenes unfolding. He's very outspoken.

I think Midori would sound kinda like a mix of Jataro, Himiko, and maybe Kazuichi? But interpenetrate it as you'd like. Range is medium, with its occasional medium-lows.

  • "Oh, I see. Uh.. Well, Maybe? I dunno." (Starts off understanding, but falls into confusion.)

    "I am the Super Highschool Level Wizard! Midori Tomiko! Bow before me or I will smite thee, haha!" (Overconfident, Loud, Excited?)

Hoseki Tsumetai (Hoh-sec-e Seh-met-tai), SHSL Actor.

Despite being an actor, Hoseki is not very good at hiding his emotions. He's very innocent, and misunderstands dirty jokes. He gets flustered at compliments. basically a pure bean. 

I think he would have a keebo esque voice, or maybe Ishimaru? I dunno. Do whatcha want.

Probably one of my favorites, Akasuno Yatawa (Ah-kah-sue-no Yah-tahwah) is the SHSL Butcher.

He's incredibly quiet, but when he does talk, his voice is low and scruffy. Akasuno is incredibly selfish and doesn't really care about the wellbeing of anyone but himself. Instead of talking, he will sometimes use sign language, unless in a trial. 

Akasuno would probably sound like Gundham without the accent when he talks, or Amami. His range is low, so go wild.

Monotaro, a plush looking tiger robot. Styled similar to Monokuma.

Out of the three Monos, taro is jumpy and excitable. He's very peppy, but under all that hyperness is a layer of disgusting, gore loving despair.

Monoburu is a bull, built like monokuma.

He's a bully towards Monotora, and is harsh with Monokitsune. He has a soft spot, but its very hard to get to. Easily aggravated, Monoburu will not hesitate to ram his horns toward you.

His voice is deeper than the other twos. Buhuhu is his signature laugh. A voice reference would be Monokid or Gundham.

  • "It's a killing game, and you are all players! Buhuhuhu!!!" (Mischievous, Excited)

    "I'm not a toy of some kind, get your grubby mits off me!" (Angry, annoyed)

Monokitsune is a small, plush like fox robot, completed with soft fur.

Kitsune is lighthearted and awkward, having a hard time communicating. Out of the three, she's honestly the most fucked up, as shes the one who takes the credit for the harshest executions. Monokitsune, despite being gross and flirting with the other two, she actually sees them as brothers and finds that weird.
