In this thrilling unofficial installment of Dangan Ronpa, the original killing games never happened in this timeline, and the world is full of magic. However, magic won't get you into the legendary Prowess Academy! The only thing that can get you in there is talent, and Hotaru Oowada-Kuwata definitely has that talent. Alongside her half-sister, Shugo Oowada-Ishimaru, Hotaru enters the school with sixteen other ultimate students... and unbeknownst to her, not all of them will be walking out. With the addition of Mononeko, a black and white cat with an ulterior motive, join these kids as they fight to stay alive, get out of the school... and save the world from a dangerous time loop.
This is the first installment of The Generation 2 project. There will be a total of six games including this one, but if you are cast in this game, you absolutely do not have to stay on for all six games. I will be casting two people for each role: a first choice, who will get first pick of the character, and a backup, in case the first choice backs out or can't do the project for some reason. Please keep in mind, a lot of the "couples" in this story are not officially together (most of the kids are made using energy magic), there are trans/LGBT+ characters galore, and this may not line up with your personal headcanons. Hotaru is a sixteen-year-old ultimate student studying at Prowess Academy. She was scouted from her old school and came to the Academy in her Freshman year, and has been attending ever since. However, this is the first time a killing game has taken place here. She has spiky red hair with an undercut, several facial piercings, pale skin, and bright blue eyes. She is 5'8" and 165 lbs. She is rather muscular.
Her voice is chipper and upbeat most of the time, as she tends to be rather positive. However, she is prone to anxiety attacks, and her voice can become shaky when worried, frightened, or sad. She has a slight tendency to yell like her dad Mondo when flustered. She is the protagonist of the game, so there will be lots of lines for her!

You will be in charge of drawing backgrounds for the visual novel. Payment is NEGOTIABLE! I prefer to pay per background, there shouldn't be too many but be ready to take on a good bit of work. We will be working on backgrounds per chapter, as the game will be released chapter by chapter every few months.

Natsuki is an easily excited 16 year old who is the daughter of Tenko Chabashira and Angie Yonaga. She's known as the Ultimate Skydiver. Her voice is pretty loud, happy, and excited. She rarely gets serious or sad, but when she does her voice gets lower and quieter.
