Project Overview

*PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE AUDITIONING!

Hello everyone! My next Project is going to be quite the fun - and long - one!

This is going to be an abridged series on Katekyo Hitman Reborn! One of my most favorite, if not the most favorite anime that i enjoy!

For those of you who don't know this anime, here's a quick synopsis:

"A teenage boy named Tsuna, known for being a loser among his many classmates, comes home from school one day to meet a gun-toting infant named Reborn introducing himself as Tsuna's new home tutor who will train him to
become the tenth generation boss of a mafia family known as Vongola."

Well, for the most part, I will be the only one making the script, with a little help from a friend, and I'll also be the only one video/audio editing. This WILL be a good quality abridge, as I am using Sony Vegas pro 14, with a decent amount of editing knowledge.

This is going to be a very long project, so DEDICATION, is mandatory. I will be casting multiple understudies for each role, just to be on the safe side, and give everyone as much a chance as I can. I do plan to abridge at least the first few arcs of the anime! So please be dedicated!

I'm also looking for good quality audio, as I want this abridge to be famous in any way it can be! I'd recommend at least a high-end USB microphone, like the yeti.

But XLR microphones would be great (I use one), but if you don't have such mics, that's fine, as long you can get the audio to sound clear, and background noise, as well as static, free!

I've left the character's background info, the voice type we're looking for, as well as the vocal range for each role, so please read them! They're there for a reason!
Don't forget to exaggerate! This is an abridge after all... so it's OK to let loose!

Hayato is hot-tempered and tends to be irritable towards anyone who isn't Tsuna, Reborn, and Nana, with the biggest nuisance towards him are his own fellow guardians. He cultivates the image of a "bad boy" by smoking heavily, having a hostile attitude, dressing like a delinquent, and even attempting to harm others if not for the intrusions Tsuna and Takeshi, who restrain him. Despite his image as a school delinquent, Hayato is shown to be quite intelligent and finds many of the tests and schoolwork to be easy, unlike his boss.

Hayato takes his duties towards acting as the right-hand man of Tsuna very seriously, to the point where he strongly dislikes whenever others interact with Tsuna in any way, especially towards Takeshi, who he considers a one-sided rival.

In contrast to the more impulsive Takeshi, Hayato has a very methodical and calculated approach to battles, it is commonly assumed that he had a multitude of private tutors when he was young, as he was brought up in a rich househould.

Among all the Arcobaleno, he is said to be the strongest. It was revealed in a flashback that Reborn initially showed anger towards the Arcobaleno curse; however, after a period of exile, he came to accept it, asking Shamal to "erase" his old self. As an Arcobaleno, he remains fairly calm through any situation and always putting a straight face, even in his "fights" against Colonnello. He also is rather sadistic and likes to occasionally tease his students, much to both Dino's and Tsuna's dismay. He did, however, admit to have snapped when Timoteo was revealed to be in Gola Mosca during the Varia Arc, and was also shown to be enraged when he could only helplessly watch as Tsuna was being beaten up by Daemon.

Yamamoto is the type of character that can make friends with everyone, and if not friendship, then at least respect. Characters like Hibari, have been shown to have interest in Yamamoto's battles, and Squalo has also shown to have interest in his development to the point of willingly tutoring him. However, Yamamoto can become angry when his friends are hurt or injured. He is also willing to sacrifice things important to him to save his friends from danger, as shown in the Kokuyo Arc. where he sacrificed an arm (right before an important baseball game) to defeat Ken; and when Squalo asked him whether he would choose baseball or the sword, he chose the sword in order to protect those he cared about. 

In school his grades are around the same as Tsuna's because of his focus on baseball. However, it is shown that once he sits down and actually learns the theory, he can do any problem easily. Despite not being smart academically wise, he has shown an inner wisdom and tact belying his age. This was shown when he scolded Gokudera on being a proper right-hand man. He has the tendency to believe that everything is a game, including the Vongola which he believes to be some sort of 'mafia role-playing game'. His future self, however, seems to have finally acknowledged the reality of the situation.

His motto is to live "to the extreme!", which he applies to everything he does. As such, he prefers to fight his opponents head on, seeing any disadvantage as a chance to improve his fighting skills. He even barged into a zoo, expecting to fight a bear, but ended up fighting a lion instead. Every time he sees Tsunayoshi Sawada and his friends doing something strange, he gets riled up and wants to be a part of it. Due to Ryohei's enthusiasm, he often rushes into things without fully evaluating the situation, which often results in his injury. He also has a short memory and forgets many important details, something his future-self overcame by writing memos.

Ryohei is a very loyal person, especially to his friends. Without thinking twice, he will protect his friends in need and never hesitate to go full-out in order to protect them.

He has a soft spot for girls and children. He stated that girls and children shouldn't allowed to participate in battle, as he never agree to bring his sister Kyoko, Haru Miura, and I-Pin to battlefield during the Choice Game. During the Future Final Battle Arc, he volunteered to watch over Lambo so he could protect him whenever the situation becomes tough. His future self seems understand how to make children happy, as he gave I-Pin a doll that resembles her master, Fon and a lollipop for Lambo.

As stated by others, Hibari is a very scary character with no care for the well-being of others, preferring to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. This often leads to his opponents surprising him, as he doesn't think before attacking. As the head of Namimori Middle's Disciplinary Committee, Hibari uses authority to assault those that get on his nerves, including his own subordinates.

He prefers to be alone, and hates crowdings. This leads him to beat anyone who he thinks is crowding around him too much. He has full confidence in his own strength and power, and dislike to work together with anybody due to feeling bind and restrained, making him refuse or won't easily take suggestions from others into consideration.

A rare trait about him is his love for small animals, ranging from birds to hedgehogs. He is also fiercely loyal to his school and its rules, going so far as to punish others for breaking them even if they aren't students or at the school, such as Genkishi.

He is shown to dislike being indebt to anyone and strives to pay them back as soon as possible. He cannot stand being restrained and absolutely refuses to allow himself to be controlled. Also, earlier in the series he is also shown to have a soft spot for I-Pin, having accepted her Valentine's Day chocolates with a smile and not taking money from Tsuna at a festival upon seeing I-Pin worried.

Future Hibari is shown to be more calm and observant about his opponents, and outwardly admits to hating illusionists because of his grudge towards Mukuro, the first person to have defeated him. His desire to be alone and attack people that annoy him still remains, though his actions are shown with more thought. Future Hibari is also seen being more respectful to Future Tsuna, showing that he has accepted him as his boss.

Dino has great leadership and combat skills. His main weapons are a bullwhip and his pet turtle, Enzo. Like Tsuna, Dino, at first did not want anything to do with the Mafia and was also a klutz. He became a suitable Mafia Boss after Reborn became his home tutor. He came to be known as "Bucking Horse Dino" (跳ね馬ディーノ, Haneuma Dīno or "Bronco Dino" in Viz's translation) and fixed the Chiavarone's financial problems, turning them into the third most influential Famiglia in the Vongola Alliance. Unfortunately, Dino is so devoted to his Famiglia that when none of his Famiglia Members are around, his skills decrease dramatically, and he will often accidentally hit people with his whip and fall down stairs, among other things.

Lambo is considered annoying by most of the people he meets, but by his fellow Guardians, he is also considered as someone dear to them. He is shown to be very self-confident and views himself with high regards, but he often ends up crying over small things. He is constantly shown picking his nose and getting into trouble. He is highly incompetent in assassination, and makes silly mistakes to the point of being either pitiful or just looked down upon. When Lambo is surprised, he normally expresses his shock by shouting, "Gyupaa!" 15 years old Lambo is still the crybaby he was when he was younger, but can become determined to face his fears for his friends and loved ones, similar to how 5 years old Lambo had recently been shown capable of doing, though only for the sake of being with Tsuna's mother, Nana. In his brief appearance, 25 years old Lambo is shown to be more serious, unwilling to cry upon seeing the faces he had not seen in a long time. Both 5 year old and 15 year old Lambo have been shown to resemble the first generation Lightning Guardian, Lampo, in terms of personality, but the two show little respect for each other.

My creativity with lambo has hit a wall. I'm really open to new ideas about how this character should sound, and what his personality is.

While far from stupid, Kyoko is a somewhat air-headed girl that lives a mostly carefree life in Namimori, she doesn't seem to question many of the odd occurrences in her life, such as the idea of an infant being a hitman in the mafia, or being sent ten years into the future, which she often assumes are school activities or harmless jokes, to the point where she even believes in what her older brother tells her when he receives an injury, even if they sound too ridiculous to be true.

She is a kind and caring girl, always looking out for her older brother and her friends. Kyoko is rarely ever shown to get angry at other characters, with some of the rare occasions being towards Kensuke, who claimed that she was a "prize" during Tsuna's kendo match against him, and feeling left out after Tsuna and his guardians refuse to explain the mafia and Millefiore to Kyoko who had no idea why she was trapped in the future, and temporarily went on strike and refused to cook and clean until she was given an explanation. Kyoko has a fondness for sweets, taking the third sunday of every month and having an appreciation day where she eats as much cakes as she wants.

Haru Miura

Haru is an upbeat and enthusiastic girl, living a mostly carefree life in Namimori, as well as being known to be somwhat of an airhead. Haru is well aware of Tsuna's status in the mafia, although she doesn't know the complicated details and dreams to one day become the wife of a mafioso. Haru loves children and can become very protective towards them, especially towards Lambo and I-Pin, and dislikes the idea of children being involved in the mafia. She and Kyoko excel at cooking and housework very well.

While she is shown to be kind and caring, Haru is shown to be assertive in comparison to Kyoko, whenever Haru believes that Tsuna or Hayato are doing something wrong she usually doesn't hesitate to scold them for their actions, and on certain occasions can lead to physical harm.  

Haru has a fascination with costumes, which often lead to her changing into different costumes, which often bewilder Tsuna. She is also shown to be able to make dolls with her talented sewing skills.

According to Tsuna and Hayato, Future Haru has become more feminine, but her way of thinking is still the same.

I-Pin is an assassin from Hong Kong. Even though the 5-year-old I-Pin cannot speak Japanese well, the 15-year-old "Future I-Pin" eventually enters a Japanese college, and despite the fact that she is the 3rd Most Promising Young Assassin (Fuuta ranked her as being the third out of 52,262 people for being a Promising Assassin), she works part-time at a ramen restaurant in the future, though she still retains her skills. Kawahira is a frequent customer of the Ramen Shop that the 15-year-old I-Pin works for; however, it seems that every time I-Pin goes to deliver the ramen, she is transported into the past by the Ten-Year Bazooka, and the noodles become soggy. When she is first seen, it is believed that she is a boy due to her unfeminine appearance. She would often beat up Lambo because she sees him as a "Broccoli Monster" due to her near-sightedness. She has a crush on Kyoya Hibari, who looks like her master Fon; as a result, every time she sees him, she gets shy and activates the Pinzu-Timed Super Explosion.

Despite caring deeply for him, Nana has fairly little belief in her son succeeding in life. She does not expect him to get into a good college and had an outburst claiming that he is a loser. She helps feed all the people who are presently living in her house and does not see anything strange with any of them. She's unaware of the fact that both her husband and her son are part of the Mafia, though at times she's aware that her husband and son are hiding something from her, which frustrates her.

Bianchi is violent when it comes to her love interests, but is otherwise a kind person. She cares deeply for her half-brother Gokudera, always attempting to help him, and gets happy if he shows signs that he cares for her. As she gets to know Tsuna, she begins to care more for the Vongola, as shown in the future. Her future self acts as an older sister for Haru and Kyoko and shows concern for Chrome, hinting at a kind and helpful side of her. She is usually calm, in contrast to her brother.
