(CURRENT) PROJECT AMBIVALENT
Project Overview
Khan, the main character, is a boy in his late teens. He struggles with a severe depression, and tries his hardest not to be a burden to others, although, he never feels at ease.
Khan starts a personal project for himself, to figure out the things that are messing up his life and fix them; Project Ambivalent.
Project Ambivalent is a film being made to address mental health and abuse specifically with male victims.
This Casting Call is a continuation of an older one that has exceeded the limit of time it can be up. Closed roles won't be added, but one that were still open are going to be added here.
This project will take a long time to complete.

Character: Yara is the main antagonist, someone who, at first, seems as if she's always there for you. She's two-faced and has no issue when it comes to turning against whoever she was said loyal to. She has a soft side, but only underneath a rock-hard shell. She usually seems apathetic, unless she's angry or in pain; Yara usually conveys negative emotions more than positive ones.
Voice: Her voice is a bit raspy, and she often sounds aggressive, but not all the time. As she seems apathetic at times, she also sounds apathetic. She tries manipulating others by coming off in a flirty and mischievous manner, and this can be heard through her voice.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Keep in mind this character has certain actions that are definitely not acceptable (sexual assault, domestic violence), and is one reason Project Ambivalent will have a trigger warning. If you're not comfortable with this, please don't audition!

Anthony is just a guy who's really only known for fucking around. Well, a guy who fucks around is often one to fuck up.
Character: Anthony usually doesn't take things seriously. He's a bit of a flirt, but this doesn't sum up his personality as a whole. Anthony isn't a favorite of many, but acts as so. He doesn't give too much care about the situation in the story, but he's still involved
Voice: Anthony's voice a bit deeper than the average male, and has a bit of a rasp to it. His accent is a bit subtle but still noticable. When angry, he doesn't quite yell, but anger in the emotion thickest in his voice.

When Khan is admitted into the psychiatric hospital, he makes a friend, a latino trans boy named Ash. Justin is that friend's boyfriend.
Character: Justin is often annoyed by his classmates and seems like he may be close minded, but he's in fact the very opposite. Open to new ideas, he's also very creative, and loves to create stories along with Ash.
Voice: Justin is 15, so his voice is a little post-puberic. Since he's an extra character, his voice can vary.

He's much more of an introvert compared to his friends, and is the odd one out. Khan isn't very open about how he feels, but many catch on that he's not feeling alright most of the time. He sometimes gives a smart-alec comment.
Voice: His voice is a bit deep and raspy. A lot of emotion is conveyed through his voice, sadness, fear, and anger are more prominent.

Written by Zephyrdust (DeviantArt): Tiago, in the story, appears to most, including Khan, as shy and innocent. He eventually meets Khan and the truth jumps out; He’s not a force to be reckoned with. A past filled with trauma, both physical and mental, affects him to present day. His voice sounds like Porter Robinson’s, his voice deep enough to feel a bit intimidated by it, but when he speaks with passion and friendliness, that fear dissipates. One could describe it as coffee with the slightest bit of sugar.
