CREATURES OF HABIT is a 4th year Sheridan College Thesis Film by Paige Williams about a young nun who finds herself fleeing for her life from the undead parishioners that rise from the ground of her Abbey at night.


We are currently looking for VOICE ACTORS and COMPOSERS.

  • All Roles Cast! (+Another Update...)

    Hi Everyone!!


    All roles are cast as of now, I really appreciate all who've applied and shown what they can do! Currently the project will stay up as I have a couple other roles I may need people for in the future; this includes possible pitch hitters should certain things fall through, dub voice actors/translators for other language dubbings of the film, art helpers once the film hits the clean-up phase, etc.

    I'd love to thank everyone for their interest in my silly little film, and apologize for any sort of mixup on my end regarding quick casting-- I wasn't aware of just how many people would be applying to these positions, and had the project open to the absolute last second I could have justified hiring cast members. This is my first time using CCC, and I was blown away at just how many people applied!

    Hi everyone!! Thank you to all of you who've shown interest in the project. Right now the number of applicants for the composer role is a bit overwhelming, so I'm closing the role for now while I make my way through the current apps!

Cecilia is a young new sister who’s eager to start the rest of her life as a devout and righteous tender of the Second Breath Abbey. She's kind, pious, and a bit naive. In the climax of the story, Cecilia commits a violent act in an effort to survive that directly goes against her morals and principles. This break in her moral fiber causes guilt and anxiety within her and she struggles to maintain a grip to her faith afterwards. LOOKING FOR: Higher pitch, young adult, feminine, slightly awkward, sweet. Also looking for someone comfortable with action voice acting, like grunts, screams, or effort noises.

Mother Madeline is the woman in charge at the Second Breath Abbey, and is devoted to her post with a smile. Like her title, she’s a matronly and sweet individual with a mischievous side. LOOKING FOR: A more mature, matronly voice with melodic tones. Mysterious and mothering at the same time. Deeper feminine voice with a mischievous side.

Looking for a composer for the finished project.

INSPIRATIONS: Danny Baranowski and Mudeth(Binding of Isaac), Keygen Church (ULTRAKILL), Oliver Buckland (ENA), Nero's Day at Disneyland, Jeremy Soule (Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim)

LOOKING FOR: 2 Composers (or 1 to do both if portfolio fits.)
1. A calmer, more ambient track that fits the confines of an old church or monastery.
2. A more instrumental chase scene track that takes the above inspirations into mind that will accompany movement and action.

Applicants must send in a portfolio that they believe represents what they can bring to the project based on the above influences. After portfolio submission, applicants that fit the project will be given access to a rough cut of the film, and asked to create a small sample audio of what they're inspired to create for the project.

Since this is a soundtrack for an animated film, the rhythm of the animated actions must influence the final track. This means that careful consideration of the rough animation you are given is required. This also means that heavy one-on-one contact will be expected for any WIP updates, changes, or edits.
