Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hello! This casting call is for “Cowboy Life Simulator”, an immersive and relaxing single-player Wild West ranching simulator. The game is being developed by our small studio, and we’re looking for talented voice actors to bring some life to the small town of Bravestand! We’re specifically casting for a variety of non-lexical vocalizations — short, expressive sounds such as grunts, sighs, chuckles, breaths, or exclamations. These sounds will be used for NPC of different ages and genders.

We’re casting for multiple NPC types across age and gender ranges:
Adult Male (30–45 y.o.)
Senior Male (45–65 y.o.)
Adult Female (30–40 y.o.)
Senior Female (60–65 y.o.)
Provide clean audio recordings (home studio or prosumer mic quality).
No background noise.
Deliver 6-8 unique takes per category × 3 intensity levels (low/medium/high).
Submit files as WAV, 44.1 kHz, 16-bit, mono, no processing.
This is a paid role.

We’re an indie game studio looking for a voice actor to record a library of non-lexical vocalizations (grunts, sighs, short exclamations, breaths, chuckles—no full words) for NPC characters.
Game Setting:
Wild West
Role needed
Adult Male, age range 30–45
Scope & Emotional Sets (each across multiple intonations and intensities):
- Greetings – brief acknowledging sounds when the NPC meets the player (e.g., polite hum, soft nod-grunt, light chuckle).
- Farewells – closing/exit sounds (e.g., polite exhale, short “mm”).
- Giving – handing an item (e.g., effort “hm!” / light exertion).
- Informing – indicating explanation without words (e.g., thoughtful “hmm”, confirming “mm-hm” style hum—non-verbal).
- Questioning – uncertainty/doubt (e.g., rising “huh?”, inquisitive hum).
- Approval – positive acknowledgement (e.g., satisfied “mm”, small pleased exhale).
- Disapproval – negative reaction (e.g., “tch”, disappointed exhale).
- Excitement – big reaction to shocking news (e.g., sharp inhale, surprised “oh!”-like non-lexical).
- Funny – reacting to something amusing (e.g., snort, short chuckle).
All sounds must remain non-verbal (no intelligible words).

- Ability to deliver variation across multiple takes and intensities.
