Concealment - Animation Thesis Film
Project Overview
Concealment is my 4th-year thesis film at Sheridan College. It will be a 2D hand-drawn animation film.
The story takes place in the late 1980s, in a small town located in North America. A boy Charlie accidentally pushed his friend Eric fell off the cliff. A mysterious man appears and forces him to keep this a secret. That man is the grown-up Charlie.
This is a serious story with a suspenseful and psychological atmosphere.
Some of the dialogues are not the final version and needs improvement, I really appreciate any suggestions and feedback on that.

Adult Charlie becomes unemotional and self-centered after he has grown up. His goal is to make sure Kid Charlie won't say anything to other people. He speaks with a commanding low voice without any emotion. I want to give him a creepy and threatening feeling since he is the antagonist.

I told you not to tell anybody.
If he was, he could tell everyone his best friend wanted to kill him.
Charlie is an 8 years old boy who accidentally killed his friend. He is trying to escape from guilt and anxiety. Different from Adult Charlie, Kid Charlie's feelings fluctuate greatly. His lines are mostly chaotic phrases and short sentences that show his complex emotions.

There are two newscasters in this film, one is in the 80s, and another is in the 00s. They need to sound like different people... I believe a slight difference will be fine!

We begin tonight with breaking news: Authorities organized a search party for eight-year-old boy Eric Peterson who went missing last night.
(2000s guy)
After 20 years of disappearance, the body of 8 years old Eric Peterson was found at the bottom of the Cliff. Authorities said that he fell off due to an accident.
Around 28-40 years old. She is Charlie's mom, she called Charlie (via an old-style telephone), she's worried about Charlie and his friend, so she asked if Charlie has any clues about Eric's missing.

(sigh) Eric is missing, do you know where he could be? Did he say anything to you?
