This is a fandub for the visual novel game Coffee Talk. We have been given permission to voice over the comics and the demo. The official description of the game reads:
"Coffee Talk is a game about listening to people’s problems and helping them by serving a warm drink out of the ingredients you have. It is a game that tries to depict us as humanly as possible while having a cast that is more than just humans.
Developed and published by Toge Productions, the game was inspired by the calm feelings of drinking warm drinks in the middle of a cold rainy night, alone or accompanied by friends. The game features visual aesthetics that are inspired by 90s anime, classic pixel art adventure games, and the chill imageries often associated with lo-fi chillhop music.
Immerse yourself in the stories of alternative Seattle inhabitants, from the dramatic love story between an elf and a succubus, an alien journey trying to understand human’s life, and many other stories that we might be able to relate a lot."

Whilst dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, I found this game on accident. It made me feel so relaxed with its intriguing story, calming music, and lovely visuals. After reading through the comics posted on Twitter that expand on the characters in the game, along with watching the initial reactions of lets-players going through the demo, it inspired me as a voice actress to show my appreciation for this game. My intention is to introduce more viewers to this game, as well as to show the creators how much the fans love the effort that they put into the game.

If the character has the 'lead' role that means it is both in the demo of Coffee Talk as well as the comics. Minor means it is featured in just the comics alone.
The player character. At this point the name has not been chosen. This character is the owner and the barista of Coffee Talk. This is an open role so just speak as you see fit.

Freya serves as the deuteragonist of the story, regularly visiting Coffee Talk to draw inspiration for her writing from the stories that other customers share. She usually orders a triple shot espresso and sits in a corner of Coffee Talk writing away, both for her day job at the fictional newspaper 'The Evening Whispers', and for her first novel about the café and its patrons. As a writer, she loves to both tell and listen to stories, so she will frequently discuss events that had happened during the day. She's quite energetic, so when she feels intense emotions such as surprise, sadness or anger, she can be loud and brash, but she can also easily fall from super excited to down-in-the-dumps from her terrible eating and sleeping habits.

Lua is a succubus who has been in a relationship with her elf boyfriend Baileys for 10 years. She's a hard worker who loves and values her family to no end. She is calm and soft-spoken only showing her anger and sadness in subtle ways.

Baileys is an elf from a very high-class elf family and has been in a relationship with Lua for 10 years. He dislikes how high-class his family is, especially with their push for him to get a reputable job (i.e. a doctor or lawyer), so he wishes to leave and be with Lua (even if his family disapproves of her). He can be brash and a little cocky due to his prestigious upbringing, but he has a good heart and deeply cares about Lua.

Gala is a werewolf who initially worked in the military, but following an incident that only his close friend Hyde knows about, he settled down to work at the hospital. Every full moon, he locks himself in his house and refuses to leave, as doesn't want to hurt anyone. He is a very gentle man, which is countered by his big bulky build.

Aqua is a fully-fledged Oceanic, meaning she was born and raised in the sea, and now lives in Seattle to work as both a researcher and indie developer. The racism towards her kind made it very difficult for her to come to the city, so she is quite shy and doesn't want to bother anyone. Her excitement/confidence is usually quickly pushed down by how shy she is.
(As she is not from the states her accent can really be any oceanic accent such as Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii etc.)
