Project Overview
Important: This casting call is not ending until March 15th, 2017. I can not set the time that far ahead, due to not being a gold member. I'll be changing the time as necessary to keep the casting call active though. :)

As the title suggests, this is for a Fandub of Chrono Trigger! The game beloved by all <3
This page specifically, will have casting for the main baddie lackies;
Ozzie, Flea, Slash and Dalton.
Some other bosses with dialogue;
Queen Azala, Masa & Mune and Mother Brain.
Some other lovable characters like;
Spekkio, Atropos, Gato, Taban, Crono's Mom, Cyrus, the Chancellor and Tata.
And of course, extras like those cuties in the break room of the cathedral workplace for monsters, Fiona and her missing husband Marco, Masa & Mune's older sister Doreen, Lucca's mother Lara, the great adventurer Toma, and many many more!

Some things to know about auditioning for this dub!
General things you need!
We'd like to have good quality audio! It doesn't need to be perfect or incredibly professional, but the better the quality audio, the better it'll be for your chances to get chosen
Be dedicated! I'm not sure how often we'll be doing the episodes. But I will likely have the entire game recorded before the casting is actually done, so be prepared for that! (also please stick with it! ; w ; I don't want to have to cast a new Marle every few episodes, or have one person voice Queen Zeal all the way through then leave right before the finale! D: I understand things come up, but please try to stay with us for the run!)
Be punctual! When I give a deadline for lines, I'd like it to be followed. A day or two late is usually fine, but a week late or more and I might have to re-cast, no hard feelings, I just need to make sure we can get these out in a relatively timely manner! (I'm really understanding when extensions are needed, so just let me know if you need one! Just don't never talk to me again if you're dropping out, ya know? I had someone do that for my Xenosaga abridged and it was not fun to deal with. :/ Had to recast and the first episode was delayed by a lot.)
Have skype! This is an optional point, but getting to know the other actors/actresses, talk things through, maybe even do read-throughs of parts of the script together! It can all help a lot with your acting! Also it's always fun to make friends! If you don't have skype though, at least have an e-mail that I can contact you with, so I can get lines from you and such! :) I also have discord, if that's easier for you than skype or e-mail?
Have fun! Last but not least... If you don't think you'll enjoy this for whatever reason, I'd rather not have an audition. ; n ; this isn't professional by any means, and you won't be getting paid, so why not just have some fun with it! Me and my crew are having loads of fun already! :D Hopefully you will, too!

The Chancellor has a few different sides to him, as who is cast will be playing the Chancellor from 1000 AD, the Chancellor from 600 AD as well as Yakra disguised as the Chancellor.
The two real chancellors have a sense of "justice" which sometimes comes in the form of execution to those found guilty; this is not to say he's a bad man, he just wants there to be peace, and safety through the kingdom. However, when Yakra is posing as the man, he is a bit more "odd". A more sinister tone can be used,
Tone: Medium (or medium high/low, not sure. up to interpretation different for all, perhaps?).
(Disguised Yakra) She escaped?! But how? She was in a secured room!
(600 AD) That no good Yakra, impersonating me and kidnapping the Queen! We MUST make a criminal justice system in this Kingdom to do away with such fiends.
(1000 AD) Princess Nadia! Are you alright? Where have you been?! I heard you were abducted! We had soldiers searching for you! Scoundrel! You're the one huh? Kidnapping Princess Nadia!
Mother Brain is a computer program designed to run the R-Y series factory in 2300 AD. She has reprogrammed the R-Y robots to do her bidding, since the decrease in human activity, and wants to do the same with Robo, once he returns, telling him that he is incapable of these human emotions that he quite clearly possesses.
Tone: Medium to medium-low. Amused and slightly sarcastic. Slightly robotic, but not much (kinda like GLaDOS, but perhaps even a little less robotic than her.)
You did well to come this far. I am the Mother Brain of the R-Y series factory.
Come Prometheus, you must once again join us. I'll reset your circuitry and erase your memories. Then we'll dispose of these filthy humans.
You would betray ME, to stay with these humans? You would turn against the family of robots?
Atropos was reprogrammed by Mother Brain before Crono's party arrives. Like Robo, she appears to, once her programming is repaired with a bit of a beating, have humanesque emotion. She seems to be a romantic interest for Robo, and she also seems to care for him in return.
Tone: Cold and robotic while under Mother Brain's control, but a softer, more human-like tone(still slightly robotic) when she snaps out of it.
(reprogrammed) Welcome home, Prometheus.
(reprogrammed) You are indeed defective. They have tampered with you. I'll destroy them, then fix you.
(after breaking from Mother Brain's control) I'm damaged? What happened? My memory bank... Mother must have done something nasty when she reprogrammed me... Partial memory... restored... I'm sorry... Prometheus...
Flea is a... uh... man-woman-thing? While Flea is portrayed strongly as a female character, he insists that he is male. He is one of Magus's generals, and much like Ozzie, carries the title proudly.
Tone: Medium. Androgynous. He can be a bit hotheaded at times. Also a bit of a silly character.
What the...?! Hey, I'm a GUY!
Male... Female.... What's the difference? Power is beautiful, and I've got the power!
How can this be...? Sir Magus..!
A rightous, loyal knight to the Guardian family. He is strong-willed and dependable both as a friend and upon the field of battle. He died defending a young Glenn(Frog) against Magus and Ozzie, after seeking out the ancient blade, Masamune.
Tone: Medium-low to low. He should have a brave sort of tone, one typical of a knight that knows he's damn good at what he does, but at the same time, somewhat humble.
Yes, it's time we took back the Medal from the Frog King. And I'd like to see that mythical sword for myself.
As long as there is life in these bones, I shall return! By your leave...
Prepare yourself, Polywog! En Guarde!
Slash is the third of Magus's generals, and like the other two, also holds his position highly. He is the more serious of the three, but definitely has his moments of silliness.
Tone: Medium-low to low. Err... kinda like a silly Piccolo actually, From DBZ... xD
That's SLASH, you slimy dolt! Still playing the comedian, eh Glenn?
You'd be singing a different tune if Cyrus hadn't been there with you last time!
Unbelievable...! But falling in the line of duty for Magus... leaves me with few regrets...!
Crono's mother is just that; a sweet and caring mother who wants her boy to stay out of trouble, and maybe for him to come home once in a while when on his adventures, to feed his cat... That'd be nice...
Tone: Medium. She should have a gentle, motherly tone. She has an excitable youthfulness in one of the endings, which I wouldn't mind shining through in the rest of the game.
Crono... Crono! Good morning Crono! Come on, sleepy head! Get up!
Lucca! We hardly see you these days! Don't let life pass you by, dear! And say "Hi" to your parents!
(normal then hard switch to dark) Crono, so THIS is where you've been since the festival. Children this naughty.... Deserve to be punished!
Gato the singing beat-'em-up training robot from Millenial Fair was created by Lucca and.. needs to sing these lines! xD

Tata was raised in a way that his father could boast about him being a "hero" after he found the Hero's Medal. While deep down, Tata knew that he wasn't one, he didn't want to let his father, or anyone else around him down, so he played the part until he just couldn't take it any more and finally came clean, which ended in conflict with his father.
Tone: Medium to medium-high, young boy. While upholding his title as a Hero, he should sound nervous more than anything, and when he comes clean, very sad and apologetic.
Th-This is a terrible place! Y-you'd best run away while you can!
I just can't fake it any longer. I'm no Hero...! I'm so ashamed! Here... Please take this!
I... I'm sorry everyone. Some frog guy dropped this in a cafe.
Spekkio is a being that evolves with the party's strength. He dwells in The End of Time, in a room off of where Gaspar lives. He's a lively little creature that teaches you about many things throughout the game for combat, first of witch being the use of magic.
Tone: I'd like the tone to change for his different forms, so try a few different voices for each line. I may cast multiple people as him if need be. :)
I'm Spekkio. The Master of War! I've seen all kinds of battles from here. How do I look to you guys? I see. Let's put it this way. If you're strong, I look strong. If you're weak, I look weak.
You have it... determination, I mean! Magic needs power of the heart. It needs inner strength.
Ipso facto, meeny moe... MAGICO!
Ozzie is the man who found the young Janus when he was first transported to 600 AD by his mother Queen Zeal. He took Janus in, and helped him to hone his power until the boy finally overcame him. Ozzie became the lead of three generals under Magus, and bears that title with pride.
Tone: Not sure what I want for him. Something silly, perhaps~? Open to interpretation!
Oh, great Magus... why didn't you simply exterminate the human race 400 years ago?
I'm Ozzie, Magus's top general! Those who dare defy Magus have to answer to me! Yes my children... Give 'em a taste of doom!
You fly eating, tongue flicking...! Oz... Ozzies in... a jam!!
Azala is the Queen of the Reptites, and as such, wants to lead to a glorious scaly future. She cares not for humans, often time attaking human settlements, such as Ioka, where Ayla is chief. She is confident in her own ability, as well as that of all other reptites in bringing this future to being a bright one, though is unfortunately defeated just before Lavos falls into the world and brings about the beginning of the end.
Tone: Medium-high to medium-low. Something befitting of a crazy lizard queen? Open to interpretation~! She is not particularly evil, just wants her race to thrive, rather than go extinct. She's highly intelligent for the era she hails from(65 000 000 BC).
Ah, the apes have arrived! Hmm. You're nothing like Ayla... Tell me what this is, at once!
So...you are here at last. This is it, then. The showdown. Today there shall be a conclusion. Will it be the reptites, or you silly apes who end up ruling the world?
No... It can't be...! Could the heavens truly have sided with the apes? Listen, primates, and let it be known. We Reptites fought bravely to the bitter end!
Taban is Lucca's father, inventor and bold experimentor! He's intelligent and strong. He's quite a large fellow, but seems like the type who'd be more of a teddy bear than anything. He's a loving father, and encourages Lucca in everything she does, seeming to just be happy she's following in his footsteps as a creative mastermind.
Tone: Low. Fatherly, loving, intelligent and excitable all the same. He needs to hold a youthfulness in his age, but a passion for his life's work, and an unyielding love for his daughter.

Dalton is self-rightous and humbling toward others. He knows he's good in combat, but this cockiness can lead to poor decisions. His faithfulness to the Queen Zeal also places him in odd predicaments. She does not see him as highly as he seems to believe she does, and often tells others that his position was all part of a greater plan(such as being stuck on guard duty while they activated the Mammon Machine, rather than going with them into the chamber like he thought he was worthy of).
Tone: Medium to low. You know Gaston..? I almost want to say I want him to sound like Gaston... or Kronk... a sort of "I'm a big guy who's kinda dumb, but damn I'm strong." XD not sure... open to interpretation I suppose!
Phooey! Why is the Prophet allowed inside, while I'm stuck with guard duty? -- Ha! There you are! I let the Prophet go, knowing he'd mess up sooner or later. But I've no use for you anymore! You're history!
The Queen's children all seem to have a problem with authority, don't they? Stay back. The life of this woman means nothing to me!
You'll come to the Ocean Palace with me. Do anything funny, and Schala's dust. Got it?
Lots to fill here. These can be double-cast with main characters and such, so don't think you can't get both~ I'd rather a smaller focused group than one that's big and harder to arrange anyway... xD
(Female. People like Fiona, Lara, Schala's maid, etc. )

- Highness, the Queen requests your presence immediately... Quickly, Princess Schala, or I'll be punished.
(Male. People like Toma, elders, Marco, guards, etc. ... if you can, please try the second line here in an older(senior) voice. I need some old men~ ; u ;)

- Impossible! Even though it's coming from you, Melchior...

Masa & Mune are a young set of twin brothers, bestowed upon the ancient blade Masamune. They give the sword it's power.
Tone: Medium, young boys.
Masa is a brave boy, who is a bit hot-headed at times, while his twin Mune is more intelligent, but much less brave, often worried about the outcome of some of his brother's plans, also about who their master might be next.
I may get more than one person for the boys, but if you can do similar but still different voices on your own, brownie points~
(Masa)
- So! You want to get a name for yourself by grabbing the Masamune? What a baffoon!
- You can't even understand something as simple as that. That's why you're human.
(Mune)
- Humans are so... silly! It's how you USE the sword that's important... not who owns it!
- Will they fix us?... will they find us an owner?
(Together) With Masa's bravery and... Mune's knowledge! Two become one!!

- Hey everyon! Humans! They're after the Bromide! Get them!
- Yakra's so smart! His plan to capture the Chancellor and take his place worked perfectly!
(Both Male or Female. Such as the monsters in the break room, and those from Medina.)
- Buurp! Hey what's with the disguise? No need for them here!- It's almost my shift. I hate pretending to be human... It's so repulsive.
- Hey! Did you people just come out of the closet? Get outta here! Who do you think you are? Coming and going out of our closet at all hours.
