Project Overview
A cinematic voiceover of the 1999 Square Enix video game Chrono Trigger! Pretty much a heavily edited playthrough of Chrono Trigger with realistic sound design, orchestral covers of the soundtrack, and slightly altered storyline. What I need from y'all: some damn good voice acting for a great video game. Make sure to put your Discord or email in the notes for your audition so that, if you're cast, I can contact you! Keep in mind, to avoid clustering your screens too badly, not ALL named roles are listed. If you want to audition for an unlisted role, use one of that role's lines in the miscellaneous option!

Marle's a peppy, adventurous young princess. She's very defiant of being ordered to be anything she doesn't want to be, and she has an incredible caring for those she's close to. She's incredibly full of energy, and if she's passionate about something she isn't afraid to show it. She also has a soft spot for Crono, whom she practically falls in love with immediately.
[You're almost completely alone at a public fair. After hesitantly asking to join Crono, he accepts) Yahoo, this'll be fun! Oh, I never told you my name, did I? It's, uh, um... it's Marle! And you're...?
[Seeing Crono after being under the impression that he was dead] Crono! You can't... Don't ever leave us like that again!
[On the brink of a battle to save the world] This planet is our home! Leene's... Doane's... everyone's! And we're taking it back!
Lucca is Crono's lifelong best friend, and she sticks by him no matter what. She's a "geek" inventress, and she's made herself weapons and other forms of technology far outdating her own time.
A German accent is preferred, but not required.
[Seeing Crono after not expecting to during a public fair] Crono! I was wondering when you'd show up! No one wants to try my Telepod. Would you be so kind?
[Reassuring Marle about uncertainties with robots] I'll make sure it won't. Robots don't attack of their own free will, you know. They only do it because humans make them that way.
[Let down by a failed attempt to reunite with Crono] Do not despair. It was foolish to think we could cheat death.
A warrior from the Middle Ages, turned into a frog by his worst enemy. Frog has an incredibly troubled past, believing that his best friend was slain because of him. He fights, but not just because it's right. Because it's the only thing he feels he CAN do.
[Having just saved Crono and Lucca] Lower your guard, and you allow the enemy in! You've come to save the queen? The Fiends' lair lies within, it would seem. Will you accompany me?
[Empowered and determined to avenge his friend] My name is Glenn! Long have I carried Cyrus's hopes and dreams, and now I bear the Masamune as well! Henceforth I claim them as my own! I shall slay the Fiendlord Magus and restore our honor!
[Heartbroken and devastated] "Here rests Cyrus, the fool who defied Magus..." Cyrus... Cyrus, I have returned. I will fulfill that oath I swore so long ago, and my final promise to you as well.
Ayla is a headstrong cavewoman, determined to stay strong to defend her people and her friends. She speaks in broken English and almost always at full voice, if not a yell. Looking for a relatively deep voice.
[Angry and determined] Strong live, weak die! Ayla just fight!
[Reassuring, anxious] It okay. Kino take all Laruba person, run!
[Furious] Ayla strong! Ayla and world good! You outsider, not part of planet's life!
Robo is (probably unsurprisingly) a robot warrior coming from the distant future. Having been repaired by Lucca after deactivation, Robo's memory was wiped, and despite being unable to locate his memory banks he's more than willing to help.
Try to make your voice like an automated message with emotion. Gentle and quiet at almost all points, but still emotional when need be.
[Just launching again after a long time] G-good... good morning mistress. What is your command?
[The tracings of anxiety] It is no use. There are multiple layers of protection. Destroying the Mother Brain mainframe is our only hope.
[Heartbroken] Pardon, I am... malfunctioning...? A defect. I am a defect!
Heartbroken and emotionally shattered as a child, Janus grew up in the Middle Ages as Magus. He rose to power as the mighty Fiendlord with only the intention of slaying Lavos, the creature which destroyed everything he knew and loved.
Magus is the ultimate edgelord. Try for a smooth, deep, grumbling voice.
[Conducting a ritual] (Do your best on the pronunciation, doesn't need to be exact] Dal zumal pharra-lo lierra... Cast open the gates that lie betwixt Heaven and earth... in exchange for the life of this world...
[Determined, angry and ready to fight] Urgh! My... my magic... he's draining it! I won't... I won't be beaten! I endured the darkness alone... for the sole purpose of defeating you! Take this, Lavos!
[Calm, pushing away anger] I said the fool was dead. I did not say his death could not be undone. Gaspar, the Guru of Time, knows the way to restore those streams of time that have been diverted from their proper courses.
A deranged queen obsessed with the power of a monster. Zeal is the worst kind of woman to be around; she's quick to temper, but she doesn't show it. She simply stays outwardly calm before bursting into rage at any given moment, and her magic compliments her fury.
[Eerily calm] Indeed! They and the Gurus Alike. How dare you outlanders attempt to oppose me?
[Triumphant] Step aside, Schala! The almighty life force of Lavos flows through us all. You are a part of it. You cannot change that fate now!
[Officially lost her mind in power, unable to hold back triumphant laughter] Sacrifice yourself to Lavos, and fulfill the only purpose left for you! Mwahahaha! (Yes, she actually laughs like that)
Dalton? More like Dolton. Dalton is an intentionally goofy, corny villain and direct bodyguard to Queen Zeal. Go for corny, anime English dub-esque delivery, but keep it legitimate all at once.
[Condescending] You will have to come with me. It would not do to have you whispering strange secrets in the ears of this mob. You might start a rebellion!
[Corny announcement] See these beautiful wings! This is a throne truly fit for a king! I name it... the Aero-Dalton Imperial!
[Frustrated] Her name is not the Epoch! It's the Aero-Dalton Imperial! And you, I'm afraid, are excess baggage! Ha ha ha ha!
The Guru of Time, Gaspar is an old man who dwells in the area between time periods. He's calm, never raises his voice, and he always offers a helping hand if Crono and co. need one.
[Friendly and calm] Ah, more drifters. It is not a question of where, my friends, so much as when. This is the End of Time. Travelers lost in time's flow end up here, much like driftwood on a beach. Might I ask when you are from?
[Reassuring, but then upset] Oh? Where's that sprightly young man? ... I see. How terrible...
[Warning] There have been a number of folks turning up here unintended recently, like yourselves. I fear something is having a powerful effect on the very fabric of time.
Show me what you've got! You can read any of the lines above according to what kind of voice you have, or send in some of your own if they show your voice range. We're gonna need a bigger cast than the roles listed above, so even if you audition for a listed character, don't be afraid to send one down here!

Magus's army is a force to be reckoned with. Please be on your guard.
(Try for a raspy, nasally voice) I'm Ozzie, one of Lord Magus's three generals! And to his enemies, I grant death!
Way to go! I'll put 1 Silver Point on your card.
Surely you didn't come all this way just to look, did you?
(Edgelord voice here) It seems you've freed my undying slaves. Such insolence...
Ha! Fat chance. Look at him! That boy's not built to lift a sword, let alone serve in the Fiendlord's army.
For "generic" female characters:
Tee hee! Man or woman, it's all the same. Power is beauty, and I'm deliciously strong!

After the death of Queen Aliza, Princess Nadia became His Grace's entire world.
For elderly characters:
[Furious] Do as you please! You are not my daughter!
Oh hoh hoh! Nothing like a good fair! Say, do you know the latest gossip?
Excuse me, young lad, I happen to have an interest in pendants and the like. Do you think perhaps you could talk that young lady into selling hers to me?
We are the survivors of Arris Dome, for lack of a better word...
