Project Overview

I wish to give back to the voice acting community for being ever so welcoming and helpful to everyone who's on their journey to voice acting. So, I decided to post an "Audition" with my original characters to see who can give them a unique twist than what I came up with. Of course, I'm not asking to do this for free so I'm paying $50 for each character. All I ask is that you don't take it seriously and have some fun with it. Of course, there will be more of these down the road.

Rules
- I encourage anyone and everyone to apply for these characters no matter who you are! LGBT? Man or Woman? Neurodivergent? POC? Pineapple on pizza lover? the more variety on my characters the more I can experience a new take on my characters!
- Must have either a PayPal or Zelle so I can send you the prize money for a job well done
- Don't bother editing it or cleaning it. I don't care if there's a lawnmower running in the background or whatever. I just want to save you the trouble.
- These auditions won't be fed into an AI training thingy. I am a voice actor myself so why would I side with those who want to take my job?
- You're more than welcome to try for all the characters. Go nuts!
- Your audition is your submission. There is no callbacks

Deadline is on the 15th of September (9/15/23). Winners will be announced a few days later!

  • Over 100 submissions!? Y'all are nuts!

    Hello everybody! I just got the news that my contest has crossed the 100 submissions milestone. I never thought that my little idea for giving back to the community would be this popular. I just want to thank each and everyone of you guys from the the bottom of my heart for submitting such colorful submissions and expanding everyone's creativity when they hear your submissions.

    Unfortunately, among the 100 (and counting) submissions for the contest, there can only be 3 winners for each side. This must be how casting directors feel when they have to select a cast member out of the thousands of submissions they go through.

    Regardless, the end of the contest is approaching and I got a few ideas for the next improv round. But that will be for another time.

    I wish everyone nothing but the best in their journey to voice acting and have yourselves a wonderful day!

Mr. E is the host and creator of the most popular television series "Mr. E Bizarre World!". He travels around the world searching for the mysteries of cryptids, urban legends, and the supernatural. With his Canine companions by his side, no mystery is too difficult for Mr. E!

  • " Cryptids, Mysteries, and the supernatural! I have devoted my life to uncover the mysteries this planet has to offer! And with my two canine companions by my side, No mystery is too difficult for MR. E!.....and welcome...to my bizarre world!

  • " We're trekking deeper into the jungle to uncover what the locals have seen is a humanoid figure with a goat head walking about during the dead of night. Could it be some mythological being...or are we about to walk into a cult isolating itself deeper into these woods?.......Blargh this jungle has more bugs than a Las Vegas Motel."

  • " We have a very special sighting here in town. What we have here are a group of fans who look like they're enthusiastic to meet what they call "an inspiration". Mr. E appreciates his fans for supporting what he absolutely loves because without them and YOU....Mr. E could never do what he loves to do!"

The host of the once in a millennium festival of life called "The Starlight Festival". Starlight Sam the ever so jolly and cheerful host has come to this world to bring happiness and wonder to everyone and brighten up their drab and dreary souls.

Improv Round! An Annoying Influencer

I absolutely hate Influencers. They think lip synching to videos, dancing randomly in public, and pulling "Pranks" on the general public and posting them on the socials will make people like them or whatever. It's stupid and annoying.

But enough of my rant. For this side, I want you to use improv to conjure up a scene I throw at ya. The more annoying and stupider, the better! Nothing to read from here on out. 

  • For this one. Make up an intro that encapsulates any influencer video intro you've seen. (Example: What is going on meatheads? It's ya boy bonehead back at it again with another video for ya. Smash the like button, ring the bell, turn on notifications. If this video hits 2 likes I'll post a new video. check me out on onlyfans, ETC)"

  • Use your "Influence" to get yourself out of a situation then throw a tantrum when you don't get your way. (Example: Paying with "exposure", getting out of a ticket, threaten to sic your fans at them)

  • Make up an "Apology" video. Doesn't matter what you did because they always say stuff about "Being in a dark place" or promising to change themselves or whatever. Anyways have fun
