Project Overview
Synopsis: The Chosen and The Change is a webcomic written by me, originally following Lucas as he discovers a mysterious store, after talking to a mysterious woman who offers him a mysterious gem he starts to change from just a regular boy to a girl.
Project Description This comic as the synopsis would explain focuses on trans issues and self-acceptance, both of which will be shown in later chapters, this Casting Call is only for the first chapter of the comic, there will be more for the further chapters, this will also include a character for the second chapter of the comic, which will be released by the end of May.

Lucas is a character who presents himself as quite of a social outcast before he becomes Lucy, so I would want you to play him as quite the generic edgy character, this character will only really present himself in the first chapter.
(Quite an annoyed tone as he is stuck in traffic trying to walk past others)
"Can't these people just move?"
(Still annoyed from the previous scene, escaping the traffic of the outside world, play the role quite snarky here)
"I just wanted to get away from that crowd outside, so what crap do you sell here?"
(This line should be presented in quite a stressed tone as Lucas is starting to notice his changes)
"Surely this stupid thing couldn’t have done any of this"
As her name describes she is quite a mysterious character, running this mysterious store all alone. The way I would want to see her played is to have her be in quite an upbeat or chipper tone not reacting negatively to any of the backchat that Lucas is providing her.
(her first line, should be played quite friendly welcoming Lucas into this store)
"Welcome!"
(This line should be played quite similarly to the previous but try to make her seem like she's hiding something behind this friendly facade)
"We sell whatever your heart truly desires"
(Play this line quite similarly to the previous, the friendly tone is still there but there is a hint of her hiding her true intentions and a little bit of annoyance about how Lucas is acting throughout the scene)
"Because it seems like you need some more magic in your life."
Lucy is Lucas after his transformation, in this chapter she will be presented quite shocked but in later chapters, as she begins to accept herself she will be quite calm and excited about her new situation.
(This will be Lucys first line as she begins to notice the changes happen, say this in a surprised tone)
" ...When was my hair this long?"
(At this point a lot more changes have occurred as her reactions have changed from just surprised to genuine stress as she doesn't understand what is happening at this point)
"Nonononono"
(Final line of the chapter, this is when she looks into the mirror having a full look at what she has become, there is still a layer of shock and surprise here but there should also be a small layer of excitement under it)
"HOW AM I A GIRL?"
Nanami is a closeted trans girl who hides her true nature behind a snarky personality, very much like Lucy she had magically transformed from her previous form but unlike her, she had already begun to transition before all of this happened, but in the end, she ended up with an androgynous body, too embarrassed to present as a female she just boymodes to hide her true nature from others. Try to make her voice slightly androgynous.
(Nanamis first line, you should play this quite shocked and stern as she is still in her 'boymode' mindset trying not to reveal the truth about herself)
"Who are you, and what are you doing in my dorm?"
(This is later on in the chapter where Lucy and Nanami get to know each other, this is her helping Lucy up after she falls over, play list line as a mix of playful and embarrassed)
"Sorry! I should have known you wouldn’t have been used to this. Come on, I’ll help you up"
(Final line of the chapter, for context Lucy just said something that embarrassed Nanami, revealing to the audience that she has something to hide. Play this line in quite an embarrassed tone.)
"Ah… yea it’s nothing. Come on, let's just walk around and see if we can find something."
