Project Overview
CBW presents - Green Arrow: Blood & Stone. This is our casting call for the second season of our long running Green Arrow audio series. These are all new characters up for grabs as of this season as well as one that is reopening. Please understand, if you are cast you will also be given extras at random depending on the episode and determined who you'll be playing that episode by me.
THIS IS UNPAID, but please do come along on this journey with us. We love having fun here.

I did love being in the SCPD...don’t get me wrong, I love helping people and I love fighting back against the people who like to put a hurt on the innocent. But this...this isn’t helping anyone. It’s just bureaucracy wasting time trying to keep a status quo that doesn’t really exist anymore.
He’ll get what you need and when he does, he’ll let you know. (gets in his face) But let me make something clear to you, Mr. Chase, if you ever go through my things again...you won’t have to worry about an arrow coming for you.
Chase is just a glorified desk jockey with a savior complex. You go out every night and take down the bad guys. Chase doesn’t know what he’s talking about because he doesn’t see the good you do. (pause) Before you put on that hood, there were so many people scared to come forward when they were wronged. Do you not see how drastically that has changed with how hard we’ve been working to lock up these assholes?

The son of deceased mob boss, Frank Bertinelli. He's come home to do right by his family business but is being pulled into two directions as he'd rather give in to his fatherly obligations than his father's (Italian American accent not required for this)
She’s like a parasite, Ollie! She wants complete control over everything, including the territories that are tied into my family's legitimate investments. She wants to absorb it all into that real estate business she has for all her money laundering... Despite what most people believe about the mafia, we don't all live and die by dirty money. Giving that over to her would not only threaten the livelihood of my family, but all the people who rely on that income.
I don't want to lose myself... (scoffs) The problem is, if we can't reach an accord soon, there might not be any other way left for me to confront this. (sighs) At least, if everything I've read about this Green Arrow guy is true, he'll make sure no one gets hurt except those who deserve it...even if I end being one of those people.
What do you want me to say here, Oliver? I thought I had a sure-fire way to stand my ground and show Penny Sutton that I wasn't going to be pushed around anymore...turns out she had something else up her sleeve I hadn't counted on.

If you let the other person walk all over you, then you give them your power...if that happens, then your fate is up to someone else. No one here wants something like that to happen, right?
Listen up, piggy, because I’m only gonna say this once... (he kneels down) It doesn’t matter how many of you come after me, I will never step foot in Iron Heights or any prison again for as long as I suck air. I am nobody’s prisoner and I will never let another man decide my fate again, you hear me?

Believe what you want, but that really isn’t an uncommon practice in my line of work. As long as the money comes in, I have little care for who paid it. (pause) In fact, I believe the only name I was given was some kind of alias...Dante, I believe.
Alright, then don't. Forsake your friends and get your self-righteous vengeance for what you believe I've done wrong. But don't you come crying to me when you make the wrong choice yet again.

Yes, well...when your father would deal with a particularly difficult competitor in this dangerous world of ours, he would, of course, always try to be a man of peace. But when peace was clearly not enough to get them to listen, your father would see to it personally that the competitor would live to regret slapping away his hand.
For now, Ms. Sutton is content with toying with you. Pretending to entertain your offers only to demand something ludicrous in return...but what happens when she bores of that game? How long until she takes the offensive? (pause) How long until her brazenness lands her at our doorstep? What will protect Helena then?
Look at it from this perspective; for your first real foray into developing these skills, you have everything pretty well stacked in your favor. We have men underneath the storage depot planting explosives. We have more that will be blocking off any of the possible exits from the building, which gives us a direct line through the entrance. There's no reason to be nervous, when victory is all but assured.

Hh. You got a smart friend...but anyway, things have been getting tougher out here for those of us trying to get by since all this fighting started. Between that and more of the land being bought up by Carlotta Realty, I haven't had a steady job in months.
It is when Bad Penny has her hands in one half of this side of town legally, while her reps are out trying to recruit guys like me into her war with the Bertinellis with on the other. At least if I get some cash here and there, I can stay out of the major trouble and keep the lights on...although even that is starting to get harder to do...hence why you caught me in The Glades.

Look, the hard truth to swallow here is that you can’t fight for truth while hiding behind a mask...you also can’t fight for justice, if you’re doing it outside the confines of the law. It’s all just a hypocritical power fantasy that feeds the ego of these kinds of people. They think that just because they win that it makes them right, but what’s that old saying? Fight not with monsters, lest you become a monster yourself.
The law is solid! The law is unwavering! The law is about accountability! (pause) But that’s why you wear the hood and the mask, right? So you don’t have to justify your brute tactics to anyone? You’ve gotten so good at making everyone believe you’re above the law you’ve even recruited accomplices to your cause!
Someone like you shouldn’t exist! I wanted you to see that the system could work if you just gave it a real fighting chance. Do you understand how valuable your skills would be if you actually did things within the law instead of outside of it?

Don’t mind me, I was just bored waiting and decided to snoop around. I was admiring your family photos... It’s nice to know that Oliver Queen has things he cares about more than just showing up two and a half hours late for his first appointment of the day.
The people of this city have not been exactly rallying behind you these days. As it is, I understand you held an event last night to help raise money for a project you’re developing to providing resources in the lower income side of town. (impressed) It's a good move, but it won’t be enough to save you from utter bankruptcy.
The noose is just getting tighter and tighter here, Mr. Queen, if you don’t do something about it before it gets too tight, then there won’t be any point in trying to negotiate with an investor...you’ll practically be begging to sell this place off just to keep the shirt on your back.

Well, I would certainly hope so considering I helped you write that speech. But listen, Oliver, you should know that Mr. Lawrence has been on the warpath for you since you didn't show up on time— Mr. Lawrence! I was just telling Mr. Queen that you were looking for him.
You're late. (Pause for other line) You're late, again, not even 24 hours after you said you would try to not make a habit of it. (Pause for other line)It's ten-thirty!

Well, first I will start off by saying that I do admire the good intentions you have for this company. But I think you are grossly misguided by those intentions. From what I understand, your sister was the one who had more of an understanding on how a business functions, but you? (scoffs) You are way out of your depth in this field. You flunked out of two business schools, you are consistently late for every single meeting, no one can ever find you when we come looking for you, and as for Miss Fine, the poor sweet girl that she is, she's no more fit to be an executive assistant for a multi-billion dollar conglomerate than you are to be the CEO. (pause) You want to talk about things that are dying in this city? Your family's company is dying and meanwhile you're just creating new charities and throwing massive amounts of money at it with no real thought as to where it comes from.
For once, you and I are in agreement, believe me we would have to be a lot further in the hole before I would ever think of reaching out to the likes of Ted Kord or Lex Luthor. (pause) We were actually thinking of someone who’s a little more small scale in the business aspect, but has a great reputation and online presence for potential investors and customers.
Alright, I can understand that... However, let me point out that if we don’t come to some sort of agreement soon, there might not even be a bed left for you to consider putting anyone in.

Yeah? And who asked you to do that? (scoffs) See, that's the problem with you vigilante types, no one ever asks for you to be anywhere, but here you are sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong! (pause) We’d all be better off if people like you didn’t exist.

Keep up your energy, Di! You gotta be able to last through all these punches! You wouldn't have to try half as hard if you weren't wasting so much of that energy on being angry. Anger can work for you if you know how, but it can be equally as poisonous if you don't. If you can't keep it in check, it'll suck up anything remotely good out of you until you're just a shriveled up little ball of hatred.
Sounds like someone just got saved by the bell. Tell you what, go grab us some waters and take five. When I get back, I'll show you some techniques to keeping your energy up without expending it or holding back.

The new mayor of Star City. He was sort of thrust into this job after the death of his predecessor, but he's definitely capable of handling it. He isn't as loud and boisterous as the man who sat in that chair before him, but he does not have any issues delegating that responsibility wherever needed to help restore order to Star City.
(Trying to quell an argument between Chase and McKenna)If I could get a word in— Mr. Chase, Ms. McKenna, please—! This is my office and I will not stand for—!
Thank you, Vergil... Now, if I may interject here, I would like to say that I have to concur with the Deputy Commissioner’s sentiments in regards to pursuing the vigilante known as The Green Arrow for this investigation you’re conducting. (sternly) What I see, Mr. Chase, is that I am sitting in a seat that used to be filled by someone who got in too deep with this vigilante mess and it cost him his life.
I am perfectly aware of who killed the former mayor, Ms. McKenna. That still doesn’t change the fact that none of these things began occurring until after the Green Arrow appeared. (firmly) He may have given it to you, but you work for my office. I’m the one who appointed you, Adrian. Meaning if I choose to limit those stipulations you were given, then there’s nothing you or Harmon can say to the contrary. The vigilantes are out of the question as far as your investigation is concerned. I will allow you to continue building your case for this Viper appeal, if you truly believe there is another guilty party hiding in Merlyn Global, but you will not pursue these vigilantes. Leave the police work to Captain Hall and the Star City Police Department...understood?
