Cause of Death- Season one

Cause of Death- Season one

Project Overview

Welcome!

Cause of death WAS an old iPhone game where you are in a police procedural drama. It's long been delisted, but I found a way to Rise this amazing game from the dead.

If this is a TV show, this would be rated TV-14 due to language. And violence.

What is this about?

Well, this game is about a detective and a profiler solving cases together that are connected to a larger arc.

Season 1 introduces protagonists SFPD Detective Mal Fallon and Special Agent Natara Williams, as they face against The Maskmaker, a killer who cut the faces of his victims and created masks out of them.

I will start by casing the main characters because there is a lot of minor character. I will do season 1 but if this gets a lot of support. We could maybe do other seasons.

Expectations:

-Use a good mic quality recording. It dosnt have to be professionally quality. But good enough to clearly hear you.

-Over 14 years old. As I said, this contains language and violence.

-Respectful attitudes.

-No experience needed.

Latest Updates

  • Wonderful updates.

    Hello everyone!

I recovered from a cold and returned from camping so it was a rather eventful week.

As promised, here is the link to the first two scene of Episode 1. Season 1 will have about 6 episodes.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

I am going to expand the audition by 2 weeks! I need more time to find Natara, Maria, and Ken. Both Mal and Eric are quite popular that their auditions will close by JUNE 30TH. Maria, Natara, and Ken will stay open untill July 14th.

Please comment or like the post if you are interested in playing multiple roles. There are a lot of minor character, so should you not get casted as a main, you are garenteed to get a smaller role.

And finally, I'm in the process of organizing each episode so that you can find the specific time stamp for your characters.

Thank you all so much for your continued support. Lets make this dream project a reality.

  • Thank you for your support!

Everyone! Thank you so much for your submission to this project! Some notes

    • Thank you for submitting roles for Mal, Eric, and Natara. I haven't listened to them yet until the audition closes.

    • I still need auditions for Ken and Maria. If you have any voice acting friends, invite them. I will do everything I can to advertise this project.

    • If we get more than 12 auditions, I will show a snippet of the story just to show those of us who aren't familiar with the Cause of Death series.

  • Oh, please, spare me the 'tough cop' routine, will you? I've worked with enough detectives to know it's all an act.

  • He fits the standard serial killer profile. Mid-twenties, white, prior relationship with the victim. But he also works in a highly social profession. Serial killers tend to be detached and awkward around strangers.

  • We make each other fight and strive harder than we ever could alone. I can see the most horrific violence and evil... The ugliest face of humanity... But I look at you, and in an instant, I see all of the good in the world. I look at you, and I know what I'm fighting for.

  • That doesn't mean you're off the hook, I want this one by-the-book, Detective. You understand? By. the. book.

  • That's the most infuriating part. Forensics have found nothing on any of the bodies. We've got no witnesses, no DNA, and no perps in our systems with priors matching their M.O. Our killer is precise, methodical, and extremely efficient. He knows who to target and how to cover his trail.

  • It just breaks my heart, A girl like that with her whole life ahead of her... you bring this guy in, Detective.

  • Detective, I got that analysis of the drugs our suspect was carrying. It's a morphine derivative called hydromorphone, or hydro.

  • We're also seeing some signs of asphyxiation. Look at the petechial hemorrhaging behind the ears. That suggests her airways were obstructed.

  • A bunch of drunken, half-clothed idiots staggering around a giant fire. I'm suprised any of them made it home alive.
