'The Ones Left' - A Minecraft Global Warming Movie
We are working on a large scale film, and auditions are now open! The project involves something a little bigger and more meaningful that a general minecraft movie. We are working on a minecraft film (or series of films, if it's successful) about the huge problem we're facing right now - global warming. Our aim is to raise awareness and show the problems that we don't think about on a daily basis.
The movie will follow the story of a few characters living in the year 2100, where the world has been devoured by the consequences of climate change. It will be a great way to get yourself out there, and also something important that you worked on that you could display to others in the future if need be. It's also an amazing message to work for and a great thing to be proud of.

Our Production Team has been working hard to get to this point. We are happy to say that Auditions for character roles are now open! Auditions will be done in Rounds, adding more characters over time, so don't worry if you didn't get the desired role.

Millie Yousif is a mixed-race American woman, age 27. She has light brown skin and brown hair. Her eyes are a mix of hazel and green.
Millie is the main character of the film. She is the past leader of the large research group whose mission was to reverse the effects of global warming. After its failure, Millie was fired due to her inability to give up. She continued to do research alone, until she found a lead that led to her building a new team to venture out and give saving the world one last try.
Personality:
Millie strives for her goals and is very determined to fulfill them. She doesn't give up on herself or her team, and is a very good leader. Her leadership earns her the respect of her co-workers, however her stubbornness and denial to give up ultimately costs her huge sacrifices.
Requirements:
You need to have a good range. Millie's character requires confidence, emotion (including general happiness, excitement, heartbreak and anger), and most importantly a good, leading voice. WARNING: This role may contain swearing.

Liam Morgan is a middle-upper class man, age 29. He has neat dark blonde hair and brown eyes, and wears quite formal clothes.
Liam Morgan serves as Millie's best friend figure. He has been supporting her and her ideas for years now, and they have seen each other through all of their failures. As well as this, he is the scientist of the group, and acts as a key role in searching for the surviving species of animals in Africa.
Personality:
Liam is a genuinely kind and polite guy, who struggles with speaking his feelings. He's hidden and secretive, and can be quite emotional. He supports Millie - and later the other team members - through the hardest times and is very loyal to his friends. Due to his many years of study, he is a very experienced and skilled animal biologist. WARNING: if you are uncomfortable playing a bisexual character, refrain from auditioning for this role.
Requirements:
Liam's character is one of the most emotional, and requires a larger range than the others. You need to be able to portray sadness, anger, and timidness. WARNING: This role may contain swearing.

Dylan Green is a working man, aged 34. He has messy brown hair and green eyes, and often wears ragged clothing.
Dylan Green is a zookeeper at the local zoo. He has experience with all sorts of animals, and he will be useful to the team. His character goes through a huge development arc, which redeems his sturdy personality later in the film.
Personality:
Dylan is a very stern and careless character. He works in a zoo and prefers being around animals more than humans. He doesn't get along with Millie very well due to his jealousy over her long friendship with Liam. He is bisexual, which affects his feelings for other characters later in the film. Dylan's character goes through a huge development arc, which redeems his sturdy personality later in the film. WARNING: if you are uncomfortable playing a bisexual character, refrain from auditioning for this role.
Requirements:
You need to be able to portray extreme anger. Dylan's character often slaps back and gets in disagreements with others. It's important that you have a strong, powerful voice. WARNING: This role may contain swearing.

Chloe Chang is an Asian American woman with dark hair usually in a pony tail, age 31. She is tall for a woman, and wears a suit - or other formal attire - most of the time.
Chloe Chang is the team's 'soldier', due to her being a part of the FBI. She organises anything to do with weapons, plans out a lot of their tactics, and protects the team from dangers. As well as this, Chloe is trained in first aid and mental aid.
Personality:
Although trained for killing, Chloe is a surprisingly kind and polite character, especially to people she respects. She is very centered around the idea of loyalty, especially as she comes from a workplace in which trust is a key factor. When facing enemies, Chloe changes completely and becomes a merciless killer.
Requirements:
Chloe's character is strong, confident and her voice needs power. You must have a sturdy, almost emotionless, voice. You can also add a bit of an Asian accent, if possible. WARNING: This role may contain swearing.

Amy Dawn is young & small with ginger hair and blue eyes, age 19. She often wears bright coloured overalls, yellow in the movie. Her skin is very pale and she has freckles on her face.
Amy has a very important job in the team as she is a mechanic and works with cars and trucks. She even has little experience in operating boats, due to her family being fishermen, and small planes. Amy is often the person to fix something or use anything high-tech.
Personality:
Amy initially starts off as a character who doesn't seem to care for anything or anyone. However, she eventually grows a bond with Millie and becomes very close to her. She's the youngest person on the team and isn't as mature as the others yet.
Requirements:
You must have a young adult/teenager voice in order to show that she's younger than the others. Amy's character requires the ability to portray deep emotions, anger, and love. WARNING: This role may contain swearing.
[Meeting the team for the first time]

It's no longer possible, Millie. We can't sustain it... After considering the other departments, we only have money for one research group, and that's taken by the food research team.

(starting to get angry)
No, Millie, impossible! The government has banned all travel there. There's no way I can help you with transportation - and the MILITARY - do you realize how little men we have, and how many we need during these times?
The Secretary appears once or twice in the film and aids the team in their research work.

Senator Ron appears less than Senator Hasley. He's a Senator of a richer region, and doesn't care for Millie's team.

(clears throat. Says slightly humorously)

(angrily)

Do you how it feels to have one's loved one die before them? Cough themselves to death? Taken away by dirt, the same dirt from the earth that gave birth to them? Do you know how that feels? Of course you don't. We save the humans, and that's the end of the story.
Gregory Hanfield is Dylan Green's boss at the Zoo. He appears in the movie once or twice, with little roles.

Well, you see, Mr. Green. Some of the other zookeepers from your area have been reporting missing food in the storage. I was wondering why that is the case?

Roald Hansen is an older man. We see him right at the end of the movie, and he will be a lead character in the second movie.

A deep, older-sounding, polite voice. Ability to come back for the second movie as lead cast.

This is the devastating aftermath of a class 5 hurricane, followed by an earthquake of the magnitude 8.0. Washington has been affected gravely, an unconfirmed and rising number of discovered bodies reaching close to 3 billion. As America braces for the worst, as predictions show something big coming up. More on that later.
Police men/women show up from time to time. We will need several different voice actors for these. Some of these contain swearing.
