Project Overview
This is an opening paid casting call for for a VA (Either male or female) to voice in the comic dubs for the webcomic series, Can’t Buy Happiness. First, a quick description of the series.
Can’t Buy Happiness is a slice of life webcomic series starring Hazel MacGee, the richest kid in town and daughter of the mayor of Crystal City, who goes on various adventures as she makes new friends and navigates the world of middle-class kids.
How this will work is once a comic gets done, I will send them over and that’s where the voice acting comes in. These comics usually go up to 6-7 panels max so these will be short projects. I will be making more of these casting calls as more character ref sheets get done so if you don’t get this role, it won’t be your last chance. Payment info down below. Requirements
Have Good Audio. This goes without saying. Good mic, no background noise, clear audio.
Must be active. Please be fairly active and easy to communicate with. I wanna make sure everyone’s on the same page and kept up to date.
Communicate through Discord. The project communication will be done over Discord. So make sure to put your Discord info in your audition.
Have Paypal. This is a paid project and my method of online payment is through paypal.
Be 18 or Older. This is mainly due to the payment part of this.

Tony is a boy in Hazel's class, and the closest friend to Sophie, her rival. Despite Sophie's cruel mean nature, Tony has a crush on her, despite how poorly she treats him.
He is a very romantic kid, as before he became acquainted with Sophie, he proposed to every girl in class. He also has a love for comic books and superheroes, with a deep encyclopedic knowledge on various heroes.
For his voice, go for something similar to Pit from Kid Icarus but younger sounding and nerdy. He's a pre teen so you can either audition with a deeper sounding voice or a child.

Hey Annie, do you think Sophie will like this gift? I made sure the comic I picked for her had a strong leader.
No matter what perils we go through and what villains try to keep us down, we will always be side by side Sophie! Till the very end!
Did anyone here read the latest Captain Crater? The story this volume was so fascinating. I wish I could do it for my book report.
