Project Overview

Hello fellow Starkids! Is "A Very Potter Musical" totally awesome? Do you kick down the walls around you when you listen to "Starship?" Is "Twisted" the best parody musical that has ever happened to Aladdin?

If this is you, then I WANT YOU! ... To audition for a group cover for songs from Holy Musical Batman!
I'm looking for a fun group of Starkid fans to cover songs with, and show our love for a totally awesome group of theater people!

Currently, I am having open auditions for two three songs from Holy Musical Batman:
1. Dark, Sad, Lonely, Knight
2. Rogues are We!
3. Rogues are We! (Reprise)

There will be more group covers in the future, but for now, I would like to start out smaller to make the projects more manageable.

You are NOT required to sound exactly like the actors in the links above, but having a good grasp of the character helps.
If you love to sing, and have not heard of Team Starkid, fear not! I would still love for you to audition!

My requirements are simply these:
1. Relatively Clean Audio (try to keep it static-free, if you can)
2. Energetic (This is a Starkid Fan Project, people!)
3. Have Fun!

I'm opening this up to all genders, because why not? A lot of the songs were originally sung by male actors, but I sing them anyway!

I have been seriously impressed with the quality of these auditions lately. Just wow.
I went ahead and added Sweet Tooth to this project. He's a major villain and the mastermind behind the rogues, and well - having "Rogues are We!" on this list without including its reprise felt incomplete. Hope you all give it your best shot!

I hope to see you again in the next Starkid Fan Project! I'm thinking of picking a certain musical that has lots and lots of side characters. ;)

He may look like a quack but he is ruthless and cannot stand being double-crossed. Eccentric, aristocratic, and fancies himself a "gentleman of crime." Voted most likely to poke you with his umbrella.

An English accent would be welcome, but is not mandatory.

The MASTERMIND behind the Rogues Gallery.

After the Joker's untimely death, the gang of rogues felt thoroughly beaten. Batman had foiled their each and every crime. On their own, what the hell could they do? The answer arose swiftly when an unassuming new villain known as Sweet Tooth took the reins and proposed they unite and overwhelm Batman with sheer numbers.

Equal parts dangerous and charismatic. Sly and delightfully wicked. Clearly has waaay too much fun. Enthusiasm is an absolute must!
