CACOPHONY - Original Voice Actor Audition

OVERVIEW:
Hello! We are Broken Halo, a team of 6 student animators, and this is our casting call for our short original film known as "CACOPHONY": a 2D animated psychological horror about an idol group called the ANG3LS, who suffers the loss of their frontman, Aria, whose role as leader gets replaced by member, Bria.
We are on the search for some talented individuals to join our colourful world of music, providing the voices of our protagonist, Bria, and our other two members of ANG3LS, Cerise and Dove.
We are happy to pay $50 AUD for 1 hour of your time, provided by our production manager through PayPal.
DEADLINE:
The cut-off auditions is 11:00pm GMT+10, on the 22nd of July, 2026, with voice actors being selected on the 28th and scripts being sent out on the same day. We will only accept digital recordings, and ALL RECORDINGS MUST BE DONE BY THE 31st OF JULY.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
If selected, we expect recordings must be sent as a .wav file (an email address will be supplied). We do expect recordings to be clean, with little to no background noise if possible, but if there is a slight amount, then that's also okay. We also expect 2-3 outtakes per line as each character only has 5-8 lines in total.

Voice Actor
Description: The protagonist in our animation 'CACOPHONY'. Bria is the mysterious and reserved new leader of ANG3LS. After taking over Aria's role as the leader, she began to distance herself from the other members, maybe the stress of being an idol has got to her..
Voice: The ideal voice for Bria is a lower female voice. Her voice needs to reflect her standoffish personality, similar to characters Homura Akemi from Madoka Magica, and Maki Harukawa from Danganronpa V3.

Voice Actor
Description: One of the idols in our animation 'CACOPHONY'. Cerise is the sweet and energetic member of ANG3LS. She always looks to the bright side, wanting to make her groupmates happy in this time of grief.
Voice: The ideal voice for Cerise is a higher pitched, somewhat ditsy female voice. We wish for her to have a similar voice to Sonata Dusk from My Little Pony.

Description: One of the idols in our animation 'CACOPHONY'. Dove is the cool and confident member of ANG3LS. While a bit arrogant, she knows when to leave let alone.
Voice: The ideal voice for Dove is slightly raspy and tomboyish, similar to characters Buttercup from The Powerpuff Girls, and Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony.
