Bliss: The Comic Dub (Chapter 1)

This project is 16+ and in the future will tackle graphic themes. Also you must have an actual mic. No phones, background noise, etc.
If you are chosen for your auditioned role, you must agree to be able to keep in contact through discord or personal email and upload recordings in the highest/most raw format possible. You will be given your lines to record which should be completed in a timely manner. If you are able to do it all in one 1-2 hour session, expect payment immediately after. If you want to separate your recordings into different days, I will pay accordingly until all lines are completed. I can take payments through Paypal, Venmo, Cashapp, and Kofi.
The final video will be released to Youtube as well as short snippets on Instagram and Tiktok to promote the full video. It will also be promoted on the websites I use to show my comic (Comicfury, Webtoon, etc.) VAs will be credited onscreen, in the video description, and in every post made on social media about it (unless actor specifies otherwise)
This is a long multi-chapter series and anyone casted will be featured again in other chapters. Expect to be in most chapters: James, Abby, and Margret
I’ve been busy with work and school so you will not randomly be bombarded with more work after this project. Chapter two (when I finish drawing it) will feature James, Abby, and Margret. (The actors selected for this are not required to continue their role but it would be amazing if you can!)
Voice Actor
55 lines as of chapter 1. Main character. 13 y/o male - voice more on the prepubescent side, monotone (less in a sarcastic "emo" way, more in an autistic way if that makes sense) - i specifically would like to hear takes from VAs who are a younger sounding men, women, or if you have a gender neutral voice in general. Despite him not having the widest emotional range, you can still hear the subtle shifts in his tone whether you piss him off or make his day, but only his close circle would be able to tell from his voice.
For context of how the lines are delivered, I encourage you to look at the comic panels in ch1 (bliss.thecomicseries.com) but this is not required.
Record all lines. If you want to do AB format, I would like the second version to be a different take just so I can see what emotions you're capable of - but make sure it still fits the characters vibe. (ex. For James, take A is very neutral but undertones of optimism, take B is still neutral but slightly more blunt)

29 lines as of chapter 1. Side cast and James's mom. Late 30s female. Generic mature 'motherly' voice but you can hear she's trying to hide how tired she sounds sometimes; a lot of yearning. James thinks she's still stuck overanalyzing every choice she has ever made in her life.

15 lines as of chapter 1. Main cast. 10 y/o female. Outgoing with a subtle tomboy-ish tone. Very silly but if you get on her bad side she's quick to anger, but also very quick to forgive.

8 lines as of chapter 1. Side/background cast and James's acquaintance. 16-17 y/o male. A laid-back neckbeard dork. Feel free to try a nerdy voice if you think you can do it well. He likes to pride himself on knowing obscure facts and niche music. He's not pretentious, he's "cultured" (at least in his opinion)
