#Blessed Comic Dub

Project Overview

Joanna is a mid-twenties office girl who likes social media and watered down coffee. While griping about her love life, she accidentally swiped right on a whole Pantheon of Gods and Goddesses! Looking to fulfill an ancient prophecy, only one of them will be able to claim Joanna as their own... after a nice dinner, that is!

I've been wanting to do a WebToons dub of my own for quite some time now and #Blessed was my number one choice from the get-go. I want to dub this to have fun and create something wonderful, as well as introducing people to the wonderful world of #Blessed !

This is a dub for fun, and will not be a profit-based production, in respect to the artist. Editing will be done by myself, KirstenDoesYoutube !

This dub has been made possible due to the permission of the artist: M. Victoria Robado, so please support the artist and the official comic !

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THESE RULES:

- Turnaround time for lines is within 3 weeks of being given your lines.

- A love for dubbing. We want you to have passion for this work, especially to make sure that the original artist adores their comic coming to life.

- Preference will be given to those actors who can deliver quality lines and show prowess for their character as well as QUALITY AUDIO.

    Wow, I wasn't expecting so many auditions for this project. This is an AMAZING turnout and I can't thank you guys enough for all of it. I understand that the deadline is coming up VERY soon, and I just wanted to let you guys know how happy that I am to look through all the various audtions you guys have submitted. Honestly, it's gonna make the choosing a BIT hard because I love ALL of them. With that said, the casting process may take up to a week or more. So, once the deadline comes up, please know the casting process will take time. Other than that, good luck on finals for those still in school, or good luck getting through the next coming weeks before summer ! Thank you again <3

Very mature, the big brother type in the group. He's a romantic at heart yet still has a bit of innocence to him when it comes to love.

  • (Calming, gentle, polite) Shh-sh-shh. No need to yell. I am sorry our sudden arrival has startled you.

  • (Matter-of-factly to slightly dissapointed, but masking it) I envisioned this to be the most romantic of nights.. I also envisioned you'd be wearing a poofy, princess dress..

  • (Innocently, in wonder, enthusiastic) I'm a huge fan of human romance stories and movies! I've been reading these books all my life, but never had a chance to actually experience it!

Definitely a flirt, but a bubbly character. The best thing to compare her voice to would be a sing-song like tone. She is the typical "popular" girl and can be a bit witchy when the time comes.

  • (Some-what flirtatious) We were blessed by you contacting us, and we couldn't wait to meet you.

  • (Intrigued, bubbly) Hi, darling! Do you come from the Underworld as well? Perhaps we're neighbors! Do you live near Zolfo Road?

  • (Witchy, a bit offended; catty) Why is all the blame on me? What about Zidabe? He also knew what would happen and he hid it from you all!

  • (Day-dreamy, passionate) If it were my date, I'd take Joanna on a romantic tour of the city. We would be served by everyone, and I would get her lots of gifts. And we would be up until sunrise!

Flirtatious character, but more so in a sinister/bad boy sort of way. Still knows how to treat a lady and treat her with respect.

  • (Superior, a touch of snobbiness) You must feel so lucky, though. To be chosen for this event. So privileged.. As you have never imagined.

  • (Slyly, matter-of-factly) You forgot your phone! You can't lose it, our important contract is in there!

  • (Clueless, innocently) What are you talking about? We helped you! You almost got fired! Details, details! Also, you never said there was a rule about not visiting you at work!

She carries a seductive-like nature to her. She is elegant, poise, everything you would expect a goddess to be.

  • (Irritated, slightly whiny, aggressive) You've been going on and on about the name thing all week! Just shut up about it already!

  • (Arrogant, elegant, slightly snobby) This Avusavia? Goddess of the fifth realm? Tee hee, I'm only the smartest deity you'll ever meet. While controlling the universe is quite a task, I am not interested in deciding individual destinies. The pursuit of knowledge and I will use my power to harness all the knowledge available,  for true power only comes from absolute enlightenment!

Typical boss-lady type. A very authoritative woman.

  • (Slightly dazed; scared and confused) H-Huh? What.. Was the last thing you heard me say? N-No, nothing. I'm taking another lunch break. Thank goodness you never listen to me.

  • (Stern) Look, there has been too many weird things going on.. And you seem to always be in the middle of it. I think you need some time to think if this is really what you want to do... And I need peace in this office. You're suspended until further notice.
