Cranitopia: A Web Series
Project Overview

Welcome to the casting call for "Cranitopia"
Series brief story: The story follows a young, 15 year old girl names Binz Ruiz. She has a unique power that no one has ever seen before. She has living people inside her imagination. Deep within her mind, there is a special place named "Cranitopia", which holds many different types of people, Whether you are an anthropomorphic squirrel, a princess, or and type of creature, there is a special place just for you in Cranitopia. However, a strange, dark presence has plagued the land, and has brought fear into the hearts of all Cranopians. Will Binz and her ragtag group of friends be able to stop the destruction of this unique world? Or will the darkness seep out of her mind, and soon plague the world?
I am looking for a group of people who are motivated, and as passionate as I am to make this series as successful as possible. If you are a busy person (i.e: have a job, are in a sport, or is a student) then that is completely understandable! I too am a student, and completely understand the struggle. As long as you can be reachable and get work done then that's all that's needed.
Voice acting: Please, please, PLEASE, have a decent microphone! I know you hear this all the time from other casting directors but this is in fact crucial! I want this series to have a sense of professionalism, so that means I need voice actors who have at least a decent mic where you can hear the character clearly and have little to none background noise. Also, please be able to envoke emotion in your lines. this series will tend to get dark, which involes characters crying, yelling, etc.
Writers: Now, I am the one who will be overseeing all episodes since I do have a coherent story I would like to tell, but I will need help writing episodes and scripts. We will have set dates when we will discuss episodes and things of that nature. Depending on how outgoing the writers who join are, we will possibly have discord group calls to get things done quicker so I don't take up more of the writers' time then needed.
Music composer: This is a biggie!!! I would like to find someone who can either make lofi type of music or just chill background music and an opening. They will also need to be able to make suspensful music, but mostly just mellow, soft music is needed for the time being. So, if you are reading this and make this type of music or know someone who does, please contact me! I would love to work with you!
Animators: I, myself, will be animating episodes, but it would be a LOT of help if I could have some people to lighten the load for me. there is a style I would like to stick to, and that is represented in the character drawings I have for the voice actors. If you would like more examples, ask for some and I would be more than happy to show you more. Please be able to be semi smooth in animating and be able to work at a good pace. I do not mean that you have to rush, that's the last thing I would want in this passion project, I would just like you to be able to meet a deadline and if extra time is needed then be able to communicate with me.
Storyboard artist: VERY MUCH NEEDED! There will be some fight scenes near the end of the series, so please be able to choreograph those types of shots, and be able to evoke emotion through body language and scene progression.
Background Artist: Not much to be said here other than please have decent looking backgrounds. They don;t need to be perfect, but at least appealing to the eye.
Having a Discord is crucial! Once all of the crew has been selected, a server will be created where we will all work together to make this series as best as we possibly can. The progression of the series will be semi slow depending on how quickly all of the crew can work. I will not rush anyone unless it is needed and your specific part is way past due and I have not been communicated to. I will give warnings, but do know that I don't want people ghosting on the project. If this happens then you will be booted from the project. A cute pitchy voice that can change from happy to sad very quickly.
"Do you ever wonder if our dreams are real? If our imaginary friends have feelings? Because I sure do."

"I don't wanna be alone. Please don't leave me here. I want to be able to see my sister again."
Liz has a monotone voice. She's a complete bookworm That does all she can to provide for her oblivious little sister.
"I know living without parent's is tough for her, but I at least try my best."
"Even if I try to get her help, no one will understand her. No one will understand what she's going through. Her brain is withering away."
"I don't know. I don't know how to help you. Someone, please help me!"
Vivian has a light yet stern voice. She likes to sing a lot and usually hums songs.
"I don't need your friendship, I don't need your encouragement, and I don't need you!"
"Alright, I'll give you 2 minutes, but that's it. After that, I have to get back to work."
*Sing a song/tune*
Rosie has a monotone voice but she does have spurts of excitement, anger, or sadness.
"If you truly care for her, then fight for her. Stop making empty promises and show her how you feel."
"He's a jerk and that's all he'll ever be. God, why don't you ever listen to me!"
"Please, just listen to me for once. You don't think of anyone else but yourself!"
Binx is the villain of this show. She is very aggressive and playful, and is willing to go to great lengths to achieve what she wants.

Muffy is a kind and generous princess in Cranitopia, and she has been training to become the next queen.

Irene is Binz's guardian in Cranitopia, and goes out of her way to make sure that they young girl is safe no matter what.
